And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits. | L'angelo mi disse: Che cosa vedi?. Io risposi: Vedo un rotolo che vola; la sua lunghezza è di venti cubiti, e la sua larghezza di dieci cubiti. |
| 3 | Et il me dit: C'est ici la malédiction qui sort sur la face de toute la terre; car tout voleur sera détruit, selon ce qui est écrit, d'une part; et chacun qui jure sera détruit, selon ce qui est écrit, de l'autre part. | Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole land: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off on the one side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off on the other side according to it. | Allora egli mi disse: Questa è la maledizione che si sta spargendo su tutto il paese; perché da ora in poi, chiunque ruba sia reciso da esso e chiunque da ora in poi giura, sarà reciso da esso. |

Et il la jeta au milieu de l'épha, et il jeta le poids de plomb sur l'ouverture. | And he said, This is Wickedness: and he cast her down into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. | Allora egli disse: Questa è la malvagità. | 10 | Et je dis à l'ange qui parlait avec moi: Où celles-ci emportent-elles l'épha? | Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? | Così domandai all'angelo che parlava con me: Dove portano l'efa costoro?. |
| 11 | Et il me dit: Pour lui bâtir une maison dans le pays de Shinhar; et là elle sera fixée et posée sur sa base. | And he said unto me, To build her a house in the land of Shinar: and when it is prepared, she shall be set there in her own place. | Egli mi rispose: Nel paese di Scinar per costruirle una casa, quando sarà pronta l'efa sarà collocata sul suo piedistallo. |
