| 6 | Ho, ho, flee from the land of the north, saith Jehovah; for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, saith Jehovah. | Ohi, ohi! Fuggite dal paese del nord, dice l'Eterno, perché vi ho disperso come i quattro venti del cielo, dice l'Eterno. |
| 7 | Ho Zion, escape, thou that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. | Ohi, Sion, mettiti in salvo, tu che abiti con la figlia di Babilonia! |
| 8 | For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: After glory hath he sent me unto the nations which plundered you; for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. | Poiché così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti: La sua gloria mi ha mandato alle nazioni che vi hanno depredato, perché chi tocca voi tocca la pupilla del suo occhio. |
| 9 | For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they shall be a spoil to those that served them; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me. | Ecco, io agiterò la mia mano contro di loro, ed esse diventeranno preda di quelli che erano loro asserviti; allora riconoscerete che l'Eterno degli eserciti mi ha mandato. |
| 10 | Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith Jehovah. | Manda grida di gioia, rallegrati, o figlia di Sion, perché ecco io verrò ad abitare in mezzo a te, dice l'Eterno. |
| 11 | And many nations shall join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts has sent me unto thee. | In quel giorno molte nazioni si uniranno all'Eterno e diventeranno mio popolo, e io abiterò in mezzo a te; allora riconoscerai che l'Eterno degli eserciti mi ha mandato a te. |
| 12 | And Jehovah shall inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. | E l'Eterno prenderà possesso di Giuda come sua eredità nella terra santa e sceglierà ancora Gerusalemme. |
| 13 | Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah; for he is waked up out of his holy habitation. | Ogni carne stia in silenzio davanti all'Eterno, perché egli si è destato dalla sua santa dimora. |
