| 7 | Fais silence, devant le Seigneur, l'Éternel! car le jour de l'Éternel est proche; car l'Éternel a préparé un sacrifice, il a sanctifié ses conviés. | Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests. | Sta' in silenzio davanti al Signore, l'Eterno, perché il giorno dell'Eterno è vicino, perché l'Eterno ha preparato un sacrificio, ha santificato i suoi convitati. |
| 8 | Et il arrivera, au jour du sacrifice de l'Éternel, que je punirai les princes et les fils du roi, et tous ceux qui se vêtent de vêtements étrangers. | And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. | Nel giorno del sacrificio dell'Eterno avverrà che io punirò i principi, i figli del re e tutti quelli che indossano vesti straniere. |
| 9 | Et je punirai, en ce jour-là, tous ceux qui sautent par-dessus le seuil, ceux qui remplissent la maison de leur seigneur de violence et de fraude. | In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit. | In quello stesso giorno punirò tutti quelli che saltano sopra la soglia, che riempiono di violenza e di inganno le case dei loro padroni. |
| 10 | Et il y aura, en ce jour-là, dit l'Éternel, le bruit d'un cri venant de la porte des poissons, et un hurlement venant du second quartier de la ville, et un grand fracas venant des collines. | And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills. | In quel giorno, dice l'Eterno, si alzerà un grido dalla porta dei pesci, un urlo dal secondo quartiere e un gran fracasso dalle colline. |

| 12 | Et il arrivera, en ce temps-là, que je fouillerai Jérusalem avec des lampes; et je punirai les hommes qui reposent sur leurs lies, - qui disent dans leur coeur: L'Éternel ne fera ni bien ni mal. | And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil. | In quel tempo avverrà che io frugherò Gerusalemme con lampade e punirò gli uomini che, fermi sulle loro fecce, dicono in cuor loro: "L'Eterno non fa né bene né male". |
| 13 | Et leurs biens deviendront une proie, et leurs maisons, une désolation, et ils bâtiront des maisons et ne les habiteront pas, et il planteront des vignes et n'en boiront pas le vin. | Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof. | Perciò i loro beni diventeranno bottino di guerra e le loro case una desolazione. | 17 | Et je ferai venir la détresse sur les hommes, et ils marcheront comme des aveugles; car ils ont péché contre l'Éternel; et leur sang sera répandu comme de la poussière, et leur chair comme de la fiente; | And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. | Farò venire l'avversità sugli uomini ed essi cammineranno come ciechi, perché hanno peccato contro l'Eterno; il loro sangue sarà sparso come polvere e la loro carne come escrementi. |
| 18 | leur argent ni leur or ne pourra les délivrer au jour de la fureur de l'Éternel; et par le feu de sa jalousie tout le pays sera dévoré, car il consumera, oui, il détruira subitement tous les habitants du pays. | Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land. | Né il loro argento né il loro oro li potrà liberare nel giorno dell'ira dell'Eterno; anzi tutto il paese sarà divorato dal fuoco della sua gelosia, perché egli compirà certamente una completa distruzione di tutti gli abitanti del paese. |
