| 9 | Or vous n'êtes point en la chair, mais dans l'Esprit; si toutefois l'Esprit de Dieu habite en vous; mais si quelqu'un n'a point l'Esprit de Christ, celui-là n'est point à lui. | But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. | Se lo Spirito di Dio abita in voi, non siete più nella carne ma nello Spirito. | 24 | Car ce que nous sommes sauvés, c'est en espérance: or l'espérance qu'on voit, n'est point espérance; car pourquoi même quelqu'un espérerait-il ce qu'il voit? | For in hope were we saved: but hope that is seen is not hope: for who hopeth for that which he seeth? | Perché noi siamo stati salvati in speranza; or la speranza che si vede non è speranza, poiché ciò che uno vede come può sperarlo ancora? |
| 25 | Mais si nous espérons ce que nous ne voyons point, c'est que nous l'attendons par la patience. | But if we hope for that which we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for it. | Ma se speriamo ciò che non vediamo, l'aspettiamo con pazienza. |

Car nous ne savons pas comme il faut ce que nous devons demander; mais l'Esprit lui-même prie pour nous par des soupirs qui ne se peuvent exprimer. | And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for [us] with groanings which cannot be uttered; | Nello stesso modo anche lo Spirito sovviene alle nostre debolezze, perché non sappiamo ciò che dobbiamo chiedere in preghiera, come si conviene, ma lo Spirito stesso intercede per noi con sospiri ineffabili. |
| 27 | Mais celui qui sonde les coeurs, connaît quelle est l'affection de l'Esprit; car il prie pour les Saints, selon Dieu. | and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God. | E colui che investiga i cuori conosce quale sia la mente dello Spirito, poiché egli intercede per i santi, secondo Dio. |
| 28 | Or nous savons aussi que toutes choses contribuent au bien de ceux qui aiment Dieu, c'est-à-dire, de ceux qui sont appelés selon son propos arrêté. | And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, [even] to them that are called according to [his] purpose. | Or noi sappiamo che tutte le cose cooperano al bene per coloro che amano Dio, i quali sono chiamati secondo il suo proponimento. |
| 29 | Car ceux qu'il a préconnus, il les a aussi prédestinés à être conformes à l'image de son Fils, afin qu'il soit le premier-né entre plusieurs frères. | For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren: | Poiché quelli che egli ha preconosciuti, li ha anche predestinati ad essere conformi all'immagine del suo Figlio affinché egli sia il primogenito fra molti fratelli. |
| 30 | Et ceux qu'il a prédestinés, il les a aussi appelés; et ceux qu'il a appelés, il les a aussi justifiés; et ceux qu'il a justifiés, il les a aussi glorifiés. | and whom he foreordained, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. | E quelli che ha predestinati, li ha pure chiamati, quelli che ha chiamati, li ha pure giustificati e quelli che ha giustificati, li ha pure glorificati. |
| 31 | Que dirons-nous donc à ces choses? Si Dieu est pour nous, qui sera contre nous. | What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us? | Che diremo dunque circa queste cose? Se Dio è per noi, chi sarà contro di noi? |
| 32 | Lui qui n'a point épargné son propre Fils, mais qui l'a livré pour nous tous, comment ne nous donnera-t-il point aussi toutes choses avec lui? | He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things? | Certamente colui che non ha risparmiato il suo proprio Figlio, ma lo ha dato per tutti noi, come non ci donerà anche tutte le cose con lui? |
| 33 | Qui intentera accusation contre les élus de Dieu? Dieu est celui qui justifie. | Who shall lay anything to the charge of God`s elect? It is God that justifieth; | Chi accuserà gli eletti di Dio? Dio è colui che li giustifica. |
| 34 | Qui sera celui qui condamnera? Christ est celui qui est mort, et qui plus est, qui est ressuscité, qui aussi est à la droite de Dieu, et qui même prie pour nous. | who is he that condemneth? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. | Chi è colui che li condannerà? Cristo è colui che è morto, e inoltre è anche risuscitato; egli è alla destra di Dio, ed anche intercede per noi, |
| 35 | Qui est-ce qui nous séparera de l'amour de Christ? sera-ce l'oppression, ou l'angoisse, ou la persécution, ou la famine, ou la nudité, ou le péril, ou l'épée? | Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? | Chi ci separerà dall'amore di Cristo? Sarà l'afflizione, o la distretta, o la persecuzione, o la fame, o la nudità, o il pericolo, o la spada? |
| 36 | Ainsi qu'il est écrit: nous sommes livrés à la mort pour l'amour de toi tous les jours, et nous sommes estimés comme des brebis de la boucherie. | Even as it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter. | Come sta scritto: Per amor tuo siamo tutto il giorno messi a morte; siamo stati reputati come pecore da macello. |
| 37 | Au contraire, en toutes ces choses nous sommes plus que vainqueurs par celui qui nous a aimés. | Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. | Ma in tutte queste cose noi siamo più che vincitori in virtù di colui che ci ha amati. |

| 39 | Ni la hauteur, ni la profondeur, ni aucune autre créature, ne nous pourra séparer de l'amour de Dieu, qu'il nous a montré en Jésus-Christ notre Seigneur. | nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. | né altezze né profondità, né alcun'altra creatura potrà separarci dall'amore di Dio che è in Cristo Gesù, nostro Signore. |
