| 1 | C'est pourquoi tu es inexcusable, ô homme, qui que tu sois qui juges; car en ce que tu juges autrui, tu te condamnes toi-même, puisque toi qui juges, tu commets les mêmes choses. | Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. | Perciò, o uomo, chiunque tu sia che, giudichi, sei inescusabile perché in quel che giudichi l'altro, condanni te stesso, poiché tu che giudichi fai le medesime cose. |
| 2 | Or nous savons que le jugement de Dieu est selon la vérité contre ceux qui commettent de telles choses. | But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. | Or noi sappiamo che il giudizio di Dio è secondo verità su coloro che fanno tali cose. |
| 3 | Et penses-tu, ô homme qui juges ceux qui commettent de telles choses et qui les pratiques, que tu échapperas au jugement de Dieu? | And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? | E pensi forse, o uomo che giudichi coloro che fanno tali cose e tu pure le fai, di scampare al giudizio di Dio? |
| 4 | Ou méprises-tu les richesses de sa bonté, et de sa patience, et de sa longue attente, ne connaissant pas que la bonté de Dieu te pousse à la repentance? | Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? | Ovvero disprezzi le ricchezze della sua benignità, della sua pazienza e longanimità, non conoscendo che la bontà di Dio ti spinge al ravvedimento? |
| 5 | Mais, selon ta dureté et selon ton coeur sans repentance, tu amasses pour toi-même la colère dans le jour de la colère et de la révélation du juste jugement de Dieu, | But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; | Ma tu, per la tua durezza ed il cuore impenitente, ti accumuli un tesoro d'ira, per il giorno dell'ira e della manifestazione del giusto giudizio di Dio, |

| 9 | tribulation et angoisse sur toute âme d'homme qui fait le mal, et du Juif premièrement, et du Grec; | Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; | Tribolazione e angoscia spetta ad ogni anima d'uomo che fa il male del Giudeo prima e poi del Greco; |
| 10 | mais gloire et honneur et paix à tout homme qui fait le bien, et au Juif premièrement, et au Grec; | But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: | ma gloria, onore e pace a chiunque fa il bene, al Giudeo prima e poi al Greco. |
| 11 | car il n'y a pas d'acception de personnes auprès de Dieu. | For there is no respect of persons with God. | Perché presso Dio non v'è parzialità. |
| 12 | Car tous ceux qui ont péché sans loi, périront aussi sans loi; et tous ceux qui ont péché sous la loi, seront jugés par la loi | For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; | Infatti tutti quelli che hanno peccato senza la legge, periranno pure senza la legge; e tutti quelli che hanno peccato sotto la legge, saranno giudicati secondo la legge, |

| 14 | car quand les nations qui n'ont point de loi, font naturellement les choses de la loi, n'ayant pas de loi, elles sont loi à elles-mêmes, | For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: | Infatti quando i gentili, che non hanno la legge, fanno per natura le cose della legge, essi, non avendo legge, sono legge a se stessi; |
| 15 | et elles montrent l'oeuvre de la loi, écrite dans leurs coeurs, leur conscience rendant en même temps témoignage, et leurs pensées s'accusant entre elles, ou aussi s'excusant), | Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) | questi dimostrano che l'opera della legge è scritta nei loro cuori per la testimonianza che rende la loro coscienza, e perché i loro pensieri si scusano o anche si accusano a vicenda, |

| 17 | Or si toi, tu portes le nom de Juif, et que tu te reposes entièrement sur la loi, et que tu te glorifies en Dieu, | Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, | Ecco, tu ti chiami Giudeo, ti fondi sulla legge e ti glori in Dio, |
| 18 | et que tu connaisses la volonté, et que tu saches discerner les choses excellentes, étant instruit par la loi, | And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; | conosci la sua volontà e distingui le cose importanti, essendo ammaestrato dalla legge, |
| 19 | et que tu croies que tu es conducteur d'aveugles, lumière de ceux qui sont dans les ténèbres, | And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, | e sei convinto di essere guida di ciechi, luce di quelli che sono nelle tenebre, |
| 20 | instructeur des hommes dépourvus d'intelligence, maître de petits enfants, ayant la formule de la connaissance et de la vérité dans la loi; | An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. | istruttore degli insensati, insegnante dei bambini, avendo la forma della conoscenza e della verità nella legge. |
| 21 | toi donc qui enseignes les autres, ne t'enseignes-tu pas toi-même? Toi qui prêches qu'on ne doit pas dérober, dérobes-tu? | Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? | Tu dunque che insegni agli altri, non insegni a te stesso? Tu che predichi che non si deve rubare, rubi? |
| 22 | Toi qui dis qu'on ne doit pas commettre adultère, commets-tu adultère? Toi qui as en abomination les idoles, commets-tu des sacrilèges? | Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? | Tu che dici che non si deve commettere adulterio, commetti adulterio? Tu che hai in abominio gli idoli, ne derubi i templi? |
| 23 | Toi qui te glorifies en la loi, déshonores-tu Dieu par la transgression de la loi? | Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? | Tu che ti glori nella legge, disonori Dio trasgredendo la legge? |
| 24 | Car le nom de Dieu est blasphémé à cause de vous parmi les nations, comme il est écrit. | For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. | Infatti: Per causa vostra, come sta scritto, il nome di Dio è bestemmiato fra i gentili. |
| 25 | Car en effet la circoncision est profitable si tu accomplis la loi; mais si tu es transgresseur de la loi, ta circoncision est devenue incirconcision. | For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. | Perché la circoncisione, è vantaggiosa se tu osservi la legge, ma se sei trasgressore della legge, la tua circoncisione diventa incirconcisione. |
| 26 | Si donc l'incirconcision garde les exigences de la loi, son incirconcision ne sera-t-elle pas comptée pour circoncision; | Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? | Perciò se un incirconciso osserva gli statuti della legge, non sarà la sua incirconcisione reputata circoncisione? |
| 27 | et l'incirconcision qui l'est par nature, en accomplissant la loi, ne te jugera-t-elle pas, toi qui, dans la lettre et la circoncision, es transgresseur de la loi? | And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? | E se colui che per natura è incirconciso adempie la legge, non giudicherà egli te che con la lettera e la circoncisione sei trasgressore della legge? |
| 28 | Car celui-là n'est pas Juif qui l'est au dehors, et celle-là n'est pas la circoncision qui l'est au dehors dans la chair; | For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: | Infatti il Giudeo non è colui che appare tale all'esterno, e la circoncisione non è quella visibile nella carne; |
| 29 | mais celui-là est Juif qui l'est au dedans, et la circoncision est du coeur, en esprit, non pas dans la lettre; et la louange de ce Juif ne vient pas des hommes, mais de Dieu. | But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. | ma Giudeo è colui che lo è interiormente, e la circoncisione è quella del cuore, nello spirito, e non nella lettera; e d'un tal Giudeo la lode non proviene dagli uomini, ma da Dio. |
