Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men? Do ye indeed in silence speak righteousness? Do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth. Nay, in heart ye work wickedness; Ye weigh out the violence of your hands in the earth.
The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. The wicked are estranged from the womb: They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;Leur venin est semblable au venin du serpent, de la vipère sourde qui ferme ses oreilles, Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: [They are] like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear,
Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.et n'entend pas la voix de l'enchanteur, du charmeur habile dans son art.Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, Charming never so wisely.
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.O Dieu brise leurs dents dans leur bouche ; Yahweh, arrache les mâchoires des lionceaux !Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: Break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Jehovah.
Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces. S'ils ajustent des flèches, qu'elles s'émoussent !Let them melt away as water that runneth apace: When he aimeth his arrows, let them be as though they were cut off.
As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun. Comme l'avorton d'une femme, qu'ils ne voient point le soleil ![Let them be] as a snail which melteth and passeth away, [Like] the untimely birth of a woman, that hath not seen the sun.
Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath. Before your pots can feel the thorns, He will take them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.
The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.Le juste sera dans la joie, à la vue de la vengeance, il baignera ses pieds dans le sang des méchants.The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked;
So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.Et l'on dira "Oui, il y a une récompense pour le juste; oui, il y a un Dieu qui juge sur la terre ! "So that men shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: Verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth. Psalm 59 For the Chief Musician; [set to] Al-tashheth. [A Psalm] of David. Michtam; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him.
