| 7 | Purifie-moi de mon péché avec l'hysope, et je serai net; lave-moi et je serai plus blanc que la neige. | Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. |
| 8 | Fais-moi entendre la joie et l'allégresse; que les os que tu as brisés, se réjouissent! | Make me to hear joy and gladness, That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. |
| 9 | Détourne ta face de mes péchés; efface toutes mes iniquités! | Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities. |
| 10 | O Dieu, crée en moi un coeur pur, et renouvelle en moi un esprit droit! | Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. |
| 11 | Ne me rejette pas loin de ta face, et ne m'ôte pas ton esprit saint! | Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy Spirit from me. |
| 12 | Rends-moi la joie de ton salut, et que l'esprit de bonne volonté me soutienne! | Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with a willing spirit. |

| 17 | Le sacrifice agréable à Dieu, c'est un esprit brisé; ô Dieu, tu ne méprises pas le coeur contrit et brisé. | The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: A broken and contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. |
