| 3 | My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. | O Eterno, al mattino tu dai ascolto alla mia voce, al mattino eleverò la mia preghiera a te e aspetterò. |
| 4 | For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. | perché tu non sei un Dio che prende piacere nell'empietà; con te non può dimorare il male. |
| 5 | The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. | Quelli che si gloriano, non potranno reggere davanti ai tuoi occhi; tu hai in odio tutti gli operatori d'iniquità. |
| 6 | Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man. | Tu farai perire tutti quelli che dicono menzogne; l'Eterno detesta l'uomo di sangue e di frode. |
| 7 | But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. | Ma io, per la tua grande benignità entrerò nella tua casa e adorerò con gran timore, rivolto al tuo santo tempio. |
| 8 | Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. | O Eterno, guidami per la tua giustizia, a motivo dei miei nemici; raddrizza davanti a me la tua via |
| 9 | For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue. | perché nella loro bocca non c'è alcuna rettitudine; il loro cuore non medita altro che rovina; la loro gola è un sepolcro aperto; lusingano con la loro lingua. |
| 10 | Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. | Condannali o DIO, non riescano nei loro disegni; scacciali per la moltitudine dei loro misfatti, perché si sono ribellati contro di te. |
| 11 | But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. | Ma si rallegrino tutti quelli che si rifugiano in te, mandino grida di gioia per sempre, perché tu li proteggi; esultino in te quelli che amano il tuo nome. |
| 12 | For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. | perché tu, o Eterno, benedirai il giusto; tu lo circonderai con la tua grazia, come d'uno scudo. |
