| 3 | The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. | L'Eterno lo sosterrà sul letto d'infermità; nella sua malattia tu, o Eterno, trasformerai completamente il suo letto. |
| 4 | I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee. | Io ho detto: O Eterno, abbi pietà di me; guarisci l'anima mia, perché ho peccato contro di te. |

| 10 | But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. | Ma tu, o Eterno, abbi pietà di me e rialzami perché li possa ripagare. |
| 11 | By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. | Da questo so che tu mi gradisci: se il mio nemico non trionfa su di me. |
| 12 | And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. | Quanto a me, tu mi hai sostenuto nella mia integrità e mi hai stabilito alla tua presenza per sempre. |
