| 2 | qui a son plaisir en la loi de l'Éternel, et médite dans sa loi jour et nuit! | But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night. |
| 3 | Et il sera comme un arbre planté près des ruisseaux d'eaux, qui rend son fruit en sa saison, et dont la feuille ne se flétrit point; et tout ce qu'il fait prospère. | And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. |
| 4 | Il n'en est pas ainsi des méchants, mais ils sont comme la balle que le vent chasse. | The wicked are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. |
| 5 | C'est pourquoi les méchants ne subsisteront point dans le jugement, ni les pécheurs dans l'assemblée des justes; | Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. |
