Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?Doth not wisdom cry, And understanding put forth her voice?
Au sommet des hauteurs, sur le chemin, aux carrefours, elle se tient debout.She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.On the top of high places by the way, Where the paths meet, she standeth;Essa sta in piedi in cima alle alture, lungo la strada, agli incroci delle vie;
She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, At the coming in at the doors, she crieth aloud:grida presso le porte, all'ingresso della città, sulla soglia delle porte:
Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.Unto you, O men, I call; And my voice is to the sons of men.
Vous, simples, comprenez la prudence, et vous, sots, comprenez ce qu'est le sens.O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.O ye simple, understand prudence; And, ye fools, be of an understanding heart.
Écoutez, car je dirai des choses excellentes, et l'ouverture de mes lèvres prononcera des choses droites;Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.Hear, for I will speak excellent things; And the opening of my lips shall be right things.
For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. For my mouth shall utter truth; And wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.
They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. They are all plain to him that understandeth, And right to them that find knowledge.
Recevez mon instruction, et non pas de l'argent, et la connaissance plutôt que l'or fin choisi;Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.Receive my instruction, and not silver; And knowledge rather than choice gold.
For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.For wisdom is better than rubies; And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared unto it.perché la sapienza vale più delle perle, e tutte le cose che uno può desiderare non l'eguagliano.
I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.I wisdom have made prudence my dwelling, And find out knowledge [and] discretion.
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate.
Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.Counsel is mine, and sound knowledge: I am understanding; I have might.
By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.By me kings reign, And princes decree justice.
By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.By me princes rule, And nobles, [even] all the judges of the earth.
J'aime ceux qui m'aiment; et ceux qui me recherchent me trouveront.I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.I love them that love me; And those that seek me diligently shall find me.Io amo quelli che mi amano, e quelli che mi cercano diligentemente mi trovano,
Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.Riches and honor are with me; [Yea], durable wealth and righteousness.
Mon fruit est meilleur que l'or fin, même que l'or pur; et mon revenu meilleur que l'argent choisi. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; And my revenue than choice silver.
I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice;Io cammino nella via della giustizia in mezzo ai sentieri dell'equità,
That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures. That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance, And that I may fill their treasuries.per far ereditare la vera ricchezza a quelli che mi amano e per riempire i loro tesori.
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.Jehovah possessed me in the beginning of his way, Before his works of old.L'Eterno mi possedette al principio della sua via, prima delle sue opere più antiche.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Before the earth was.
When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. When there were no depths, I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water.
Avant que les montagnes fussent établies sur leurs bases, avant les collines, j'ai été enfantée,Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth;Fui prodotta prima che le fondamenta dei monti fossero consolidate prima delle colline,
While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the beginning of the dust of the world.quando non aveva ancora fatto né la terra né i campi né le prime zolle della terra.
Quand il disposait les cieux, j'étais là; quand il ordonnait le cercle qui circonscrit la face de l'abîme,When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:When he established the heavens, I was there: When he set a circle upon the face of the deep,Quando egli fissava i cieli, io ero là; quando tracciava un cerchio sulla superficie dell'abisso,
quand il établissait les nuées en haut, quand il affermissait les sources des abîmes,When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:When he made firm the skies above, When the fountains of the deep became strong, quando rendeva stabili i cieli di sopra, quando rafforzava le fonti dell'abisso,
quand il imposait son décret à la mer, afin que les eaux n'outrepassassent point son commandement, quand il décrétait les fondements de la terre:When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:When he gave to the sea its bound, That the waters should not transgress his commandment, When he marked out the foundations of the earth;quando assegnava al mare il suo limite perché le acque non oltrepassassero il suo comando, quando stabiliva le fondamenta della terra,
j'étais alors à côté de lui son nourrisson, j'étais ses délices tous les jours, toujours en joie devant lui,Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Then I was by him, [as] a master workman; And I was daily [his] delight, Rejoicing always before him,Io ero presso di lui come un architetto, ero ogni giorno la sua delizia, rallegrandomi ogni momento davanti a lui
Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.Rejoicing in his habitable earth; And my delight was with the sons of men.mi rallegravo nella parte abitabile del mondo e trovavo il mio diletto con i figli degli uomini.
Maintenant donc, fils, écoutez-moi: bienheureux ceux qui gardent mes voies! Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Now therefore, [my] sons, hearken unto me; For blessed are they that keep my ways.
Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.Hear instruction, and be wise, And refuse it not.Ascoltate l'ammaestramento e siate saggi, e non respingetelo!
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.Blessed is the man that heareth me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors.
Car celui qui m'a trouvée à trouvé la vie, et acquiert faveur de la part de l'Éternel; For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.For whoso findeth me findeth life, And shall obtain favor of Jehovah.
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: All they that hate me love death.
