| 24 | To the wise the way of life [goeth] upward, That he may depart from Sheol beneath. | Per l'uomo prudente la via della vita conduce in alto, per fargli evitare lo Sceol in basso. |
| 25 | Jehovah will root up the house of the proud; But he will establish the border of the widow. | L'Eterno distruggerà la casa dei superbi, ma renderà stabili i confini della vedova. |
| 26 | Evil devices are an abomination to Jehovah; But pleasant words [are] pure. | I pensieri malvagi sono un abominio all'Eterno, ma le parole affabili sono pure. |
| 27 | He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; But he that hateth bribes shall live. | Chi è avido di guadagno mette nei guai la sua stessa casa, ma chi odia i regali vivrà. |

| 31 | The ear that hearkeneth to the reproof of life Shall abide among the wise. | L'orecchio che ascolta la riprensione di vita, dimorerà fra i saggi. |
| 32 | He that refuseth correction despiseth his own soul; But he that hearkeneth to reproof getteth understanding. | Chi rifiuta la correzione disprezza la sua stessa anima, ma chi dà ascolto alla riprensione acquista senno. |
| 33 | The fear of Jehovah is the instruction of wisdom; And before honor [goeth] humility. | Il timore dell'Eterno è un ammaestramento di sapienza, e prima della gloria c'è l'umiltà. |
