The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;Proverbes de Salomon, fils de David, roi d'Israël;The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:I Proverbi di Salomone, figlio di Davide, re d'Israele,
To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;Pour faire connaître la sagesse et l'instruction, pour faire comprendre les discours d'intelligence;To know wisdom and instruction; To discern the words of understanding;per conoscere sapienza e ammaestramento per intendere i detti di senno;
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;Pour faire recevoir une instruction de raison, de justice, de jugement, et d'équité;To receive instruction in wise dealing, In righteousness and justice and equity;per ricevere ammaestramento circa l'agire saggiamente, la giustizia, il giudizio e la dirittura
To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion:per dare accorgimento ai semplici, conoscenza e riflessione al giovane.
A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:Le sage écoutera et deviendra plus instruit, et l'homme intelligent acquerra de la prudence,That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning; And that the man of understanding may attain unto sound counsels:Il savio ascolterà e accrescerà il suo sapere; l'uomo con intendimento ne otterrà saggi consigli,
To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. To understand a proverb, and a figure, The words of the wise, and their dark sayings.per comprendere una sentenza e un enigma, le parole dei savi e i loro detti oscuri
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; [But] the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.
My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:Mon fils, écoute l'instruction de ton père, et n'abandonne point l'enseignement de ta mère.My son, hear the instruction of thy father, And forsake not the law of thy mother:Ascolta, figlio mio, l'ammaestramento di tuo padre e non trascurare l'insegnamento di tua madre,
For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. For they shall be a chaplet of grace unto thy head, And chains about thy neck.perché saranno un fregio di grazia al tuo capo e monili al tuo collo.
My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. My son, if sinners entice thee, Consent thou not.
If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:S'ils disent: Viens avec nous, dressons des embûches pour tuer; tendons des pièges à l'innocent, sans qu'il en ait donné de sujet;If they say, Come with us, Let us lay wait for blood; Let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause;Se dicono: Vieni con noi; stiamo in agguato per spargere sangue, tendiamo insidie senza motivo all'innocente,
Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:Engloutissons-les tout vifs comme le Sépulcre, et tout entiers comme ceux qui descendent dans la fosse;Let us swallow them up alive as Sheol, And whole, as those that go down into the pit;inghiottiamoli vivi, come lo Sceol tutt'interi come quelli che scendono nella fossa;
We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:Nous trouverons toutes sortes de biens précieux, nous remplirons nos maisons de butin;We shall find all precious substance; We shall fill our houses with spoil;noi troveremo ogni sorta di beni preziosi, riempiremo le nostre case di bottino;
Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:Tu y auras ta part avec nous, il n'y aura qu'une bourse pour nous tous.Thou shalt cast thy lot among us; We will all have one purse:tu trarrai a sorte la tua parte con noi, e fra noi tutti ci sarà una sola borsa
My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:Mon fils, ne te mets point en chemin avec eux; détourne ton pied de leur sentier.My son, walk not thou in the way with them; Refrain thy foot from their path:figlio mio, non incamminarti con loro, trattieni il tuo piede dal loro sentiero,
For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. For their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed blood.perché i loro piedi corrono al male e si affrettano a versare sangue.
Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.Or c'est en vain qu'on tend le filet devant les yeux de tout ce qui a des ailes;For in vain is the net spread In the sight of any bird:Si tende invano la rete davanti a ogni sorta di uccelli;
And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. And these lay wait for their own blood; They lurk privily for their own lives.ma costoro pongono agguati al loro proprio sangue e tendono insidie alla loro stessa vita.
So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof. So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; It taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:La souveraine sagesse crie hautement par les rues, elle fait retentir sa voix sur les places;Wisdom crieth aloud in the street; She uttereth her voice in the broad places;La sapienza grida per le vie, fa sentire la sua voce per le piazze;
She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,Elle crie dans les carrefours, où on fait le plus de bruit, aux entrées des portes; elle prononce ses paroles par la ville:She crieth in the chief place of concourse; At the entrance of the gates, In the city, she uttereth her words:essa chiama nei luoghi affollati e pronuncia i suoi discorsi all'ingresso delle porte in città:
How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And scoffers delight them in scoffing, And fools hate knowledge?
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.Étant repris par moi, convertissez-vous. Turn you at my reproof: Behold, I will pour out my spirit upon you; I will make known my words unto you.
Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;Puisque j'ai crié, et que vous avez refusé d'entendre; que j'ai étendu ma main, et que personne n'y a pris garde;Because I have called, and ye have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man hath regarded;Poiché ho chiamato e voi avete rifiutato, ho steso la mia mano e nessuno vi ha fatto attenzione,
But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:Puisque vous rejetez tous mes conseils, et que vous n'aimez pas mes réprimandes,But ye have set at nought all my counsel, And would none of my reproof:anzi avete respinto ogni mio consiglio e non avete accettato la mia correzione,
I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;Je me rirai, moi, de votre calamité, je me moquerai quand votre effroi surviendra;I also will laugh in [the day of] your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;anch'io riderò della vostra sventura, mi farò beffe quando verrà ciò che temete,
When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. When your fear cometh as a storm, And your calamity cometh on as a whirlwind; When distress and anguish come upon you.quando ciò che temete verrà come una tempesta, e la vostra sventura arriverà come un uragano, quando verranno su di voi l'avversità e l'angoscia.
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:Alors ils crieront vers moi, mais je ne répondrai point; ils me chercheront de grand matin, mais ils ne me trouveront point;Then will they call upon me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they shall not find me:Allora essi grideranno a me, ma io non risponderò, mi cercheranno con premura, ma non mi troveranno.
For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:Parce qu'ils ont haï la science, et qu'ils n'ont point choisi la crainte de l'Éternel.For that they hated knowledge, And did not choose the fear of Jehovah:Poiché hanno odiato la conoscenza e non hanno scelto il timore dell'Eterno,
They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.Ils n'ont point pris plaisir à mon conseil; ils ont dédaigné toutes mes réprimandes.They would none of my counsel; They despised all my reproof.non hanno voluto accettare il mio consiglio e hanno disprezzato ogni mia riprensione.
Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, And be filled with their own devices.
For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.Car l'égarement des sots les tue, et la sécurité des insensés les perd.For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them, And the careless ease of fools shall destroy them.Poiché lo sviamento dei semplici li uccide e la falsa tranquillità degli stolti li fa perire;
But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell securely, And shall be quiet without fear of evil.ma chi mi ascolta abiterà al sicuro, sarà veramente tranquillo, senza paura di alcun male.
