| 1 | And Jehovah spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying, | L'Eterno parlò ancora a Mosè, nel deserto del Sinai, il primo mese del secondo anno da quando erano usciti dal paese d'Egitto, dicendo: |
| 2 | Moreover let the children of Israel keep the passover in its appointed season. | I figli d'Israele celebreranno la Pasqua nel tempo stabilito. |
| 3 | In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, ye shall keep it in its appointed season: according to all the statutes of it, and according to all the ordinances thereof, shall ye keep it. | La celebrerete nel tempo stabilito, il quattordicesimo giorno di questo mese sull'imbrunire; la celebrerete secondo tutti i suoi statuti e tutti i suoi decreti. |
| 4 | And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover. | Così Mosè parlò ai figli d'Israele perché celebrassero la Pasqua. |
| 5 | And they kept the passover in the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month, at even, in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that Jehovah commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel. | Ed essi celebrarono la Pasqua il quattordicesimo giorno del primo mese sull'imbrunire, nel deserto del Sinai; i figli d'Israele fecero in base a tutto ciò che l'Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè. |
| 6 | And there were certain men, who were unclean by reason of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day: | Ma c'erano alcuni uomini che erano impuri per aver toccato il corpo morto di una persona, e non potevano quindi celebrare la Pasqua in quel giorno. Or questi uomini si presentarono in quello stesso giorno davanti a Mosè e davanti ad Aaronne, |
| 7 | and those men said unto him, We are unclean by reason of the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer the oblation of Jehovah in its appointed season among the children of Israel? | dissero a Mosè: Noi siamo impuri per aver toccato il corpo morto di una persona; perché mai ci è impedito di presentare l'offerta dell'Eterno al tempo stabilito, in mezzo ai figli d'Israele?. |
| 8 | And Moses said unto them, Stay ye, that I may hear what Jehovah will command concerning you. | Mosè rispose loro: Aspettate, e sentirò quel che l'Eterno ordinerà a vostro riguardo. |
| 9 | And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, | E l'Eterno parlò a Mosè, dicendo: |
| 10 | Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your generations shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be on a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto Jehovah. | Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro: Se uno di voi o dei vostri discendenti è impuro a motivo di un corpo morto, o si trova lontano in viaggio, celebrerà ugualmente la Pasqua in onore dell'Eterno. |
| 11 | In the second month on the fourteenth day at even they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs: | La celebreranno il quattordicesimo giorno del secondo mese sull'imbrunire; la mangeranno con pane senza lievito e con erbe amare; |
| 12 | they shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break a bone thereof: according to all the statute of the passover they shall keep it. | non ne lasceranno alcun avanzo fino al mattino e non ne spezzeranno alcun osso. La celebreranno secondo tutti gli statuti della Pasqua. |
| 13 | But the man that is clean, and is not on a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people; because he offered not the oblation of Jehovah in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin. | Ma chi è puro e non è in viaggio, se si astiene dal celebrare la Pasqua, quel tale sarà sterminato di mezzo al suo popolo, perché non ha presentato l'offerta all'Eterno nel tempo stabilito; quel tale porterà la pena del suo peccato. |
| 14 | And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto Jehovah; according to the statute of the passover, and according to the ordinance thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one statute, both for the sojourner, and for him that is born in the land. | Se uno straniero che risiede tra di voi celebra la Pasqua dell'Eterno, egli dovrà farlo secondo gli statuti e i decreti della Pasqua. Voi avrete un unico statuto per lo straniero e per il nativo del paese. |
| 15 | And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the tent of the testimony: and at even it was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until morning. | Or il giorno in cui il tabernacolo fu eretto, la nuvola coprì il tabernacolo, la tenda della testimonianza; e dalla sera fino al mattino la nuvola aveva sul tabernacolo come l'aspetto di fuoco. |
| 16 | So it was alway: the cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night. | Così avveniva sempre: la nuvola copriva il tabernacolo il giorno, e di notte aveva l'aspetto di fuoco. |
| 17 | And whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel encamped. | Tutte le volte che la nuvola si alzava sopra la tenda, dopo ciò i figli d'Israele si mettevano in cammino; e nel luogo dove la nuvola si fermava, là i figli d'Israele si accampavano. |
| 18 | At the commandment of Jehovah the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of Jehovah they encamped: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they remained encamped. | All'ordine dell'Eterno i figli d'Israele si mettevano in cammino e all'ordine dell'Eterno si accampavano; rimanevano accampati tutto il tempo che la nuvola restava sul tabernacolo. |
| 19 | And when the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of Jehovah, and journeyed not. | Quando la nuvola rimaneva per molti giorni sul tabernacolo, i figli d'Israele osservavano il comando dell'Eterno e non si muovevano. |
| 20 | And sometimes the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of Jehovah they remained encamped, and according to the commandment of Jehovah they journeyed. | Se invece la nuvola rimaneva sul tabernacolo solo pochi giorni, all'ordine dell'Eterno rimanevano accampati e all'ordine dell'Eterno si mettevano in cammino. |
| 21 | And sometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they journeyed: or [if it continued] by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. | Se poi la nuvola si fermava solamente dalla sera al mattino, quando al mattino si alzava, essi si mettevano in cammino; tanto di giorno come di notte, quando la nuvola si alzava, si mettevano in cammino. |
| 22 | Whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, abiding thereon, the children of Israel remained encamped, and journeyed not; but when it was taken up, they journeyed. | Se la nuvola rimaneva ferma sul tabernacolo due giorni o un mese o un anno, i figli d'Israele rimanevano accampati e non si muovevano; ma quando si alzava, si mettevano in cammino. |
| 23 | At the commandment of Jehovah they encamped, and at the commandment of Jehovah they journeyed: they kept the charge of Jehovah, at the commandment of Jehovah by Moses. | All'ordine dell'Eterno si accampavano e all'ordine dell'Eterno si mettevano in cammino; osservavano il comando dell'Eterno, secondo ciò che l'Eterno aveva ordinato per mezzo di Mosè. |
