| 6 | Parle aux enfants d'Israël : Lorsqu'un homme ou une femme péchera contre son prochain en commettant une infidélité à l'égard de l'Éternel, et qu'il se rendra ainsi coupable, | Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, so as to trespass against Jehovah, and that soul shall be guilty; | Di' ai figli d'Israele: Quando un uomo o una donna commette qualsiasi offesa contro qualcuno, così facendo, commette un peccato contro l'Eterno, e questa persona si rende colpevole; |
| 7 | il confessera son péché, et il restituera dans son entier l'objet mal acquis, en y ajoutant un cinquième ; il le remettra à celui envers qui il s'est rendu coupable. | then he shall confess his sin which he hath done: and he shall make restitution for his guilt in full, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him in respect of whom he hath been guilty. | essa confesserà l'offesa commessa e farà piena restituzione del danno fatto, aggiungendovi un quinto e lo darà a colui che ha offeso. |
| 8 | S'il n'y a personne qui ait droit à la restitution de l'objet mal acquis, cet objet revient à l'Éternel, au sacrificateur, outre le bélier expiatoire avec lequel on fera l'expiation pour le coupable. | But if the man have no kinsman to whom restitution may be made for the guilt, the restitution for guilt which is made unto Jehovah shall be the priest`s; besides the ram of the atonement, whereby atonement shall be made for him. | Ma se questi non ha alcun parente stretto a cui si possa fare restituzione per l'offesa, la restituzione andrà all'Eterno per il sacerdote, oltre al montone espiatorio, col quale si farà espiazione per lui. |

| 13 | si un autre a commerce avec elle, et que la chose soit cachée aux yeux de son mari ; si elle s'est souillée en secret, sans qu'il y ait de témoin contre elle, et sans qu'elle ait été prise sur le fait ; - | and a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, and she be not taken in the act; | e un uomo ha rapporti sessuali con lei, ma la cosa è nascosta agli occhi di suo marito; quando la sua contaminazione rimane nascosta, perché non c'è alcun testimone contro di lei e non è stata colta sul fatto, |

| 15 | cet homme amènera sa femme au sacrificateur, et apportera en offrande pour elle un dixième d'épha de farine d'orge ; il n'y répandra point d'huile, et n'y mettra point d'encens, car c'est une offrande de jalousie, une offrande de souvenir, qui rappelle une iniquité. | then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and shall bring her oblation for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is a meal-offering of jealousy, a meal-offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. | l'uomo condurrà sua moglie dal sacerdote e porterà un'offerta per lei: un decimo d'efa di farina d'orzo; non vi verserà sopra olio né vi metterà sopra incenso, perché è un'oblazione di cibo per gelosia, un'oblazione commemorativa, destinata a ricordare una colpa. |

| 18 | Le sacrificateur fera tenir la femme debout devant l'Éternel ; il découvrira la tête de la femme, et lui posera sur les mains l'offrande de souvenir, l'offrande de jalousie ; le sacrificateur aura dans sa main les eaux amères qui apportent la malédiction. | And the priest shall set the woman before Jehovah, and let the hair of the woman`s head go loose, and put the meal-offering of memorial in her hands, which is the meal-offering of jealousy: and the priest shall have in his hand the water of bitterness that causeth the curse. | Il sacerdote farà quindi stare la donna in piedi davanti all'Eterno, le scoprirà il capo e metterà nelle sue mani l'oblazione commemorativa, che è l'oblazione di cibo per la gelosia, mentre il sacerdote avrà in mano l'acqua amara che porta maledizione. |
| 19 | Le sacrificateur fera jurer la femme, et lui dira : Si aucun homme n'a couché avec toi, et si, étant sous la puissance de ton mari, tu ne t'en es point détournée pour te souiller, ces eaux amères qui apportent la malédiction ne te seront point funestes. | And the priest shall cause her to swear, and shall say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou have not gone aside to uncleanness, being under thy husband, be thou free from this water of bitterness that causeth the curse. | Poi il sacerdote farà giurare la donna e le dirà: "Se nessun uomo si è coricato con te e se non ti sei sviata per contaminarti, mentre eri sposata a tuo marito, sii immune da ogni effetto nocivo di quest'acqua amara che porta maledizione. |
| 20 | Mais si, étant sous la puissance de ton mari, tu t'en es détournée et que tu te sois souillée, et si un autre homme que ton mari a couché avec toi, - | But if thou have gone aside, being under thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee besides thy husband: | Ma se tu ti sei sviata, mentre eri sposata a tuo marito, e ti sei contaminata e un uomo che non sia tuo marito ha avuto rapporti sessuali con te" |
| 21 | et le sacrificateur fera jurer la femme avec un serment d'imprécation, et lui dira : -Que l'Éternel te livre à la malédiction et à l'exécration au milieu de ton peuple, en faisant dessécher ta cuisse et enfler ton ventre, | then the priest shall cause the woman to swear with the oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, Jehovah make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when Jehovah doth make thy thigh to fall away, and thy body to swell; | allora il sacerdote farà giurare la donna con un giuramento di maledizione e le dirà: "L'Eterno faccia di te un oggetto di maledizione e di imprecazione fra il tuo popolo, quando farà dimagrire i tuoi fianchi e gonfiare il tuo ventre; |
| 22 | et que ces eaux qui apportent la malédiction entrent dans tes entrailles pour te faire enfler le ventre et dessécher la cuisse ! Et la femme dira : Amen ! Amen ! | and this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, and make thy body to swell, and thy thigh to fall away. And the woman shall say, Amen, Amen. | e quest'acqua che porta maledizione ti entri nelle viscere e ti faccia gonfiare il ventre e dimagrire i fianchi!". E la donna dirà: "Amen! Amen!". |
| 23 | Le sacrificateur écrira ces imprécations dans un livre, puis les effacera avec les eaux amères. | And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out into the water of bitterness: | Poi il sacerdote scriverà queste maledizioni in un rotolo e le farà scomparire nell'acqua amara. |
| 24 | Et il fera boire à la femme les eaux amères qui apportent la malédiction, et les eaux qui apportent la malédiction entreront en elle pour produire l'amertume. | and he shall make the woman drink the water of bitterness that causeth the curse; and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her [and become] bitter. | Farà quindi bere alla donna dell'acqua amara che porta maledizione e l'acqua che porta maledizione entrerà in lei per produrre amarezza; |
| 25 | Le sacrificateur prendra des mains de la femme l'offrande de jalousie, il agitera l'offrande de côté et d'autre devant l'Éternel, et il l'offrira sur l'autel ; | And the priest shall take the meal-offering of jealousy out of the woman`s hand, and shall wave the meal-offering before Jehovah, and bring it unto the altar: | poi il sacerdote prenderà dalle mani della donna l'oblazione di cibo per la gelosia, agiterà l'oblazione davanti all'Eterno e l'offrirà sull'altare; |
| 26 | le sacrificateur prendra une poignée de cette offrande comme souvenir, et il la brûlera sur l'autel. C'est après cela qu'il fera boire les eaux à la femme. | and the priest shall take a handful of the meal-offering, as the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall make the woman drink the water. | il sacerdote prenderà una manciata dell'oblazione di cibo come suo ricordo e la farà fumare sull'altare; quindi farà bere l'acqua alla donna. |
| 27 | Quand il aura fait boire les eaux, il arrivera, si elle s'est souillée et a été infidèle à son mari, que les eaux qui apportent la malédiction entreront en elle pour produire l'amertume ; son ventre s'enflera, sa cuisse se desséchera, et cette femme sera en malédiction au milieu de son peuple. | And when he hath made her drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she be defiled, and have committed a trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her [and become] bitter, and her body shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away: and the woman shall be a curse among her people. | Dopo che le avrà fatto bere l'acqua, avverrà che se ella si è contaminata e ha commesso una infedeltà contro suo marito, l'acqua che porta maledizione entrerà in lei per produrre amarezza; il suo ventre gonfierà, i suoi fianchi dimagriranno e quella donna diventerà una maledizione in mezzo al suo popolo. |
| 28 | Mais si la femme ne s'est point souillée et qu'elle soit pure, elle sera reconnue innocente et aura des enfants. | And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed. | Ma se la donna non si è contaminata ed è pura sarà riconosciuta innocente e avrà dei figli. |
| 29 | Telle est la loi sur la jalousie, pour le cas où une femme sous la puissance de son mari se détourne et se souille, | This is the law of jealousy, when a wife, being under her husband, goeth aside, and is defiled; | Questa è la legge per la gelosia, nel caso in cui una moglie, mentre è sposata a un uomo, si svia e si contamina, |
| 30 | et pour le cas où un mari saisi d'un esprit de jalousie a des soupçons sur sa femme : le sacrificateur la fera tenir debout devant l'Éternel, et lui appliquera cette loi dans son entier. | or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon a man, and he is jealous of his wife; then shall he set the woman before Jehovah, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law. | o nel caso in cui lo spirito di gelosia prende un uomo e questi diventa geloso di sua moglie; egli farà comparire sua moglie davanti all'Eterno e il sacerdote applicherà a lei questa legge integralmente. |
| 31 | Le mari sera exempt de faute, mais la femme portera la peine de son iniquité. | And the man shall be free from iniquity, and that woman shall bear her iniquity. | Il marito sarà immune da colpa, ma la donna porterà la pena della sua iniquità. |
