| 3 | Votre frontière du côté du Midi sera depuis le désert de Tsin, le long d'Edom; tellement que votre frontière du côté du Midi commencera au bout de la mer Salée vers l'Orient. | then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward; |
| 4 | Et cette frontière tournera du Midi vers la montée de Hakrabbim, et passera jusqu'à Tsin; et elle aboutira du côté du Midi, à Kadès-barné, et sortira aussi en Hatsar-addar, et passera jusqu'à Hatsmon. | and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out thereof shall be southward of Kadesh-barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon; |
| 5 | Et cette frontière tournera depuis Hatsmon jusqu'au torrent d'Egypte; et elle aboutira à la mer. | and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the sea. |
| 6 | Et quant à la frontière d'Occident, vous aurez la grande mer, et ses limites; ce vous sera la frontière Occidentale. | And for the western border, ye shall have the great sea and the border [thereof]: this shall be your west border. |
| 7 | Et ce sera ici votre frontière du Septentrion; depuis la grande mer vous marquerez pour vos limites la montagne de Hor. | And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall mark out for you mount Hor; |
| 8 | Et de la montagne de Hor vous marquerez pour vos limites l'entrée de Hamath; et cette frontière se rendra vers Tsédad. | from mount Hor ye shall mark out unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad; |
| 9 | Et cette frontière passera jusqu'à Ziphron, et elle aboutira à Hatsar-hénan; telle sera votre frontière du Septentrion. | and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out thereof shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border. |
| 10 | Puis vous marquerez pour vos limites vers l'Orient depuis Hatsar-hénan vers Sepham. | And ye shall mark out your east border from Hazar-enan to Shepham; |
| 11 | Et cette frontière descendra de Sepham à Riblat, du côté de l'Orient de Hajin; et cette frontière descendra et s'étendra le long de la mer de Kinnereth vers l'Orient. | and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward; |
| 12 | Et cette frontière descendra au Jourdain, et se rendra à la mer salée; tel sera le pays que vous aurez selon ses limites tout autour. | and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about. |
| 13 | Et Moïse commanda aux enfants d'Israël, en disant: C'est là le pays que vous hériterez par sort, lequel l'Eternel a commandé de donner à neuf Tribus, et à la moitié d'une Tribu. | And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which Jehovah hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe; |
| 14 | Car la Tribu des enfants de Ruben selon les familles de leurs pères, et la Tribu des enfants de Gad, selon les familles de leurs pères, ont pris leur héritage; et la demi-Tribu de Manassé a pris aussi son héritage. | for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers` houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers` houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance: |
| 15 | Deux tribus, dis-je, et la moitié d'une Tribu, ont pris leur héritage au deçà du Jourdain de Jéricho, du côté du Levant. | the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising. |
| 16 | Et l'Eternel parla à Moïse, en disant: | And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 17 | Ce sont ici les noms des hommes qui vous partageront le pays, Eléazar, le Sacrificateur, et Josué, fils de Nun. | These are the names of the men that shall divide the land unto you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun. |
| 18 | Vous prendrez aussi un des principaux de chaque Tribu pour faire le partage du pays. | And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance. |
| 19 | Et ce sont ici les noms de ces hommes-là. Pour la Tribu de Juda, Caleb, fils de Jéphunné. | And these are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh. |
| 20 | Pour la Tribu des enfants de Siméon, Samuel, fils de Hammiud. | And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud. |
| 21 | Pour la Tribu de Benjamin, Elidad, fils de Kislon. | Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon. |
| 22 | Pour la Tribu des enfants de Dan, celui qui en est le chef, Bukki, fils de Jogli. | And of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli. |
| 23 | Des enfants de Joseph, pour la Tribu des enfants de Manassé, celui qui en est le chef, Hanniel, fils d'Ephod. | Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod. |
| 24 | Pour la Tribu des enfants d'Ephraïm, celui qui en est le chef, Kémuel, fils de Siphthan. | And of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan. |

| 29 | Ce sont là ceux auxquels l'Eternel commanda de partager l'héritage aux enfants d'Israël dans le pays de Canaan. | These are they whom Jehovah commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan. |
