| 55 | But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. | Mais si vous ne chassez pas de devant vous les habitants du pays, il arrivera que ceux d'entr'eux que vous aurez laissés de reste, seront comme des épines à vos yeux, et comme des pointes à vos côtés, et ils vous serreront de près dans le pays auquel vous habiterez. | Mais si vous n'expulsez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux d'entre eux que vous laisserez seront comme des épines dans vos yeux et comme des aiguillons dans vos flancs, et ils vous traiteront en ennemis dans le pays que vous allez habiter. |
