Et on appela le nom de ce lieu Horma. | And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah. | L'Eterno diede ascolto alla voce d'Israele e gli diede nelle mani i Cananei; ed essi li distrussero completamente con le loro città, e quel luogo fu chiamato Hormah. |

| 5 | Et le peuple parla contre Dieu et contre Moïse: Pourquoi nous avez-vous fait monter hors d'Égypte, pour mourir dans le désert? car il n'y a pas de pain, et il n'y a pas d'eau, et notre âme est dégoûtée de ce pain misérable. | And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. | Il popolo quindi parlò contro Dio e contro Mosè, dicendo: Perché ci avete fatti uscire dall'Egitto per farci morire in questo deserto? Et Moïse pria pour le peuple. | Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. | Così il popolo venne da Mosè e disse: Abbiamo peccato, perché abbiamo parlato contro l'Eterno e contro di te; prega l'Eterno che allontani da noi questi serpenti. E Mosè pregò per il popolo. |
| 8 | Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Fais-toi un serpent brûlant, et mets-le sur une perche; et il arrivera que quiconque sera mordu, et le regardera, vivra. | And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. | L'Eterno disse quindi a Mosè: Fa' un serpente ardente e mettilo sopra un'asta; e avverrà che chiunque sarà morso e lo guarderà, vivrà. |

| 22 | Je passerai par ton pays: nous ne nous détournerons pas dans les champs, ni dans les vignes; nous ne boirons pas de l'eau des puits; nous marcherons par le chemin du roi, jusqu'à ce que nous ayons passé tes limites. | Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king's high way, until we be past thy borders. | Lasciami passare per il tuo paese; noi non entreremo nei campi o nelle vigne, non berremo l'acqua dei pozzi; seguiremo la via Regia finché avremo oltrepassato i tuoi confini. |

| 33 | Puis ils se tournèrent et montèrent par le chemin de Basan; et Og, le roi de Basan, sortit à leur rencontre, lui et tout son peuple, à Édréhi, pour livrer bataille. | And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei. | Poi cambiarono direzione e salirono per la strada di Bashan; e Og, re di Bashan, uscì contro di loro con tutta la sua gente per dar loro battaglia a Edrei. |
| 34 | Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Ne le crains pas, car je l'ai livré en ta main, lui et tout son peuple, et son pays; et tu lui feras comme tu as fait à Sihon, roi des Amoréens, qui habitait à Hesbon. | And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon. | Ma l'Eterno disse a Mosè: Non aver paura di lui, perché io lo do nelle tue mani con tutta la sua gente e il suo paese; trattalo come hai trattato Sihon, re degli Amorei che abitava a Heshbon. |
| 35 | Et ils le frappèrent, lui et ses fils, et tout son peuple, jusqu'à ne pas lui laisser un réchappé; et ils prirent possession de son pays. | So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land. | Così gli Israeliti batterono lui, i suoi figli e tutto il suo popolo, finché non gli rimase più alcun superstite, e si impadronirono del suo paese. |
