| 41 | And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper. | Moïse dit : «Pourquoi transgressez-vous l'ordre de Yahweh ? Cela ne vous réussira point. | Ma Mosè disse: Perché trasgredite l'ordine dell'Eterno? La cosa non riuscirà. |
| 42 | Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies. | Ne montez pas, car Yahweh n'est pas au milieu de vous! Ne vous faites pas battre par vos ennemis. | Non salite, perché sareste sconfitti dai vostri nemici, Poiché l'Eterno non è in mezzo a voi. |
| 43 | For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you. | Car l'Amalécite et le Chananéen sont là devant vous, et vous tomberiez par l'épée; parce qui vous vous êtes détournés de Yahweh, Yahweh ne sera pas avec vous.» | Davanti a voi infatti stanno gli Amalekiti e i Cananei, e voi cadrete per la spada; Poiché vi siete allontanati dal seguire l'Eterno, l'Eterno non sarà con voi. |
