| 25 | And they took strong cities, and a fat land, and possessed houses full of all goods, wells digged, vineyards, and oliveyards, and fruit trees in abundance: so they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy great goodness. | Ils s'emparèrent de villes fortifiées et de terres fertiles; ils possédèrent des maisons remplies de toutes sortes de biens, des citernes creusées, des vignes, des oliviers et des arbres fruitiers en abondance. | 35 | For they have not served thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness that thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land which thou gavest before them, neither turned they from their wicked works. | Dans leur royaume, au milieu des nombreux bienfaits que vous leur accordiez, dans le pays vaste et fertile que vous leur aviez livré, ils ne vous ont pas servi, et ils ne se sont pas détournés de leurs oeuvres mauvaises. | Persino quando si trovavano nel loro regno, nella grande prosperità che tu avevi loro largito e nel vasto e fertile paese che avevi messo a loro disposizione, non ti servirono e non abbandonarono le loro opere malvagie. |
| 36 | Behold, we are servants this day, and for the land that thou gavest unto our fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it: | Et voici qu'aujourd'hui nous sommes esclaves !
