| 5 | Car lequel est le plus facile, de dire: Tes péchés sont pardonnés, ou de dire: Lève-toi et marche? | For which is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and walk? | Infatti, che cosa è più facile dire: "I tuoi peccati ti sono perdonati" oppure: "Alzati e cammina?" |
| 6 | Or, afin que vous sachiez que le fils de l'homme a le pouvoir sur la terre de pardonner les péchés...; alors il dit au paralytique: Lève-toi, prends ton lit, et va dans ta maison. | But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (then saith he to the sick of the palsy), Arise, and take up thy bed, and go up unto thy house. | Ora, affinché sappiate che il Figlio dell'uomo ha autorità in terra di perdonare i peccati: Alzati (disse al paralitico), prendi il tuo letto e vattene a casa tua!. |

| 9 | Et Jésus, passant de là plus avant, vit un homme nommé Matthieu, assis au bureau de recette; et il lui dit: Suis-moi. Et se levant, il le suivit. | And as Jesus passed by from thence, he saw a man, called Matthew, sitting at the place of toll: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him. | Poi Gesù, passando oltre, vide un uomo che sedeva al banco delle imposte, chiamato Matteo, e gli disse: Seguimi!. Ed egli, alzatosi, lo seguì. |
| 10 | Et il arriva, comme il était à table dans la maison, que voici, beaucoup de publicains et de pécheurs vinrent et se mirent à table avec Jésus et ses disciples; | And it came to pass, as he sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples. | E avvenne che, mentre Gesù era a tavola in casa, molti pubblicani e peccatori vennero e si misero a tavola con lui e con i suoi discepoli. |
| 11 | ce que les pharisiens ayant vu, ils dirent à ses disciples: Pourquoi votre maître mange-t-il avec les publicains et les pécheurs? | And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Teacher with the publicans and sinners? | I farisei, veduto ciò, dissero ai suoi discepoli: Perché il vostro Maestro mangia insieme ai pubblicani, e ai peccatori?. |
| 12 | Et Jésus, l'ayant entendu, leur dit: Ceux qui sont en bonne santé n'ont pas besoin de médecin, mais ceux qui se portent mal. | But when he heard it, he said, They that are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick. | E Gesù, avendo sentito, disse loro: Non sono i sani che hanno bisogno del medico, ma i malati. |
| 13 | Mais allez et apprenez ce que c'est que: "Je veux miséricorde et non pas sacrifice"; car je ne suis pas venu appeler des justes, mais des pécheurs. | But go ye and learn what [this] meaneth, I desire mercy, and not sacrifice, for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners. | Or andate e imparate che cosa significa: "Io voglio misericordia e non sacrificio Perché io non sono venuto per chiamare a ravvedimento i giusti, ma i peccatori. |
| 14 | Alors les disciples de Jean viennent à lui, disant: Pourquoi, nous et les pharisiens, jeûnons-nous souvent, et tes disciples ne jeûnent pas? | Then come to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not? | Allora si accostarono a lui i discepoli di Giovanni, e gli dissero: Perché noi e i farisei digiuniamo spesso, mentre i tuoi discepoli non digiunano?. |
| 15 | Et Jésus leur dit: Les fils de la chambre nuptiale peuvent-ils mener deuil tant que l'époux est avec eux? Mais des jours viendront, lorsque l'époux leur aura été ôté; et alors ils jeûneront. | And Jesus said unto them, Can the sons of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then will they fast. | E Gesù disse loro: Possono gli amici dello sposo essere in lutto mentre lo sposo è con loro? Ma verranno i giorni in cui lo sposo sarà loro tolto e allora digiuneranno. |
| 16 | Et personne ne met un morceau de drap neuf à un vieil habit, car la pièce emporte une partie de l'habit, et la déchirure en devient plus mauvaise. | And no man putteth a piece of undressed cloth upon an old garment; for that which should fill it up taketh from the garment, and a worse rent is made. | Nessuno mette un pezzo di stoffa nuova su di un abito vecchio, perché ciò porta via il rattoppo e lo strappo si fa peggiore. |
| 17 | On ne met pas non plus du vin nouveau dans de vieilles outres; autrement les outres se rompent, et le vin se répand, et les outres sont perdues; mais on met le vin nouveau dans des outres neuves, et tous les deux se conservent. | Neither do [men] put new wine into old wine-skins: else the skins burst, and the wine is spilled, and the skins perish: but they put new wine into fresh wine-skins, and both are preserved. | Neppure si mette del vino nuovo in otri vecchi; altrimenti gli otri si rompono, il vino si spande e gli otri si perdono; ma si mette il vino nuovo in otri nuovi, così si conservano entrambi. |
| 18 | Comme il leur disait ces choses, voici, un chef de synagogue s'étant approché lui rendit hommage, disant: Ma fille vient de mourir, mais viens et pose ta main sur elle, et elle vivra. | While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. | Mentre egli diceva loro queste cose, uno dei capi della sinagoga, si avvicinò e si inchinò davanti a lui, dicendo: Mia figlia è morta proprio ora, ma vieni, metti la mano su di lei ed ella vivrà. |
| 19 | Et Jésus se levant le suivit, ainsi que ses disciples. | And Jesus arose, and followed him, and [so did] his disciples. | E Gesù, alzatosi, lo seguì insieme ai suoi discepoli. |
| 20 | Et voici, une femme qui avait une perte de sang depuis douze ans s'approcha par derrière et toucha le bord de son vêtement; | And behold, a woman, who had an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: | Ed ecco una donna, affetta da un flusso di sangue già da dodici anni, gli si accostò di dietro e toccò il lembo della sua veste. |
| 21 | car elle disait en elle-même: Si seulement je touche son vêtement, je serai guérie. | for she said within herself, If I do but touch his garment, I shall be made whole. | Perché diceva fra sé: Se riuscirò anche solo a toccare la sua veste sarò guarita. |
| 22 | Et Jésus, s'étant retourné et la voyant, dit: Aie bon courage, ma fille; ta foi t'a guérie. Et la femme fut guérie dès cette heure. | But Jesus turning and seeing her said, Daughter, be of good cheer; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. | Gesù, voltatosi e vedutala, le disse Fatti animo, figliola, la tua fede ti ha guarita. Da quell'ora la donna fu guarita. |
| 23 | Et Jésus, étant arrivé à la maison du chef de synagogue, et voyant les joueurs de flûte et la foule qui faisait un grand bruit, dit: | And when Jesus came into the ruler`s house, and saw the flute-players, and the crowd making a tumult, | Quando Gesù arrivò in casa del capo della sinagoga e vide i sonatori di flauto e la folla che faceva strepito, |
| 24 | Retirez-vous, car la jeune fille n'est pas morte, mais elle dort. Et ils se riaient de lui. | he said, Give place: for the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn. | disse loro: Ritiratevi, perché la fanciulla non è morta, ma dorme Ed essi lo deridevano. |
| 25 | Et lorsque la foule eut été mise dehors, il entra et prit sa main, et la jeune fille se leva. | But when the crowd was put forth, he entered in, and took her by the hand; and the damsel arose. | Poi, quando la folla fu messa fuori, egli entrò, prese la fanciulla per la mano ed ella si alzò. |
| 26 | Et le bruit s'en répandit par tout ce pays-là. | And the fame hereof went forth into all that land. | La fama di ciò si divulgò per tutto quel paese. |
| 27 | Et comme Jésus passait de là plus avant, deux aveugles le suivirent, criant et disant: Aie pitié de nous, Fils de David! | And as Jesus passed by from thence, two blind men followed him, crying out, and saying, Have mercy on us, thou son of David. | E, mentre Gesù partiva di là, due ciechi lo seguirono gridando e dicendo: Abbi pietà di noi, Figlio di Davide!. |
| 28 | Et quand il fut arrivé dans la maison, les aveugles vinrent à lui. Et Jésus leur dit: Croyez-vous que je puisse faire ceci? Ils lui disent: Oui, Seigneur. | And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. | Quando egli entrò in casa, quei ciechi si accostarono a lui. Gesù disse loro: Credete che io possa far questo?. Essi gli risposero: Sì, Signore. |
| 29 | Alors il toucha leurs yeux, disant: Qu'il vous soit fait selon votre foi. | Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it done unto you. | Allora egli toccò loro gli occhi dicendo: Vi sia fatto secondo la vostra fede. |
| 30 | Et leurs yeux furent ouverts. Et Jésus leur parla sévèrement, disant: Prenez garde que personne ne le sache. | And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. | E i loro occhi si aprirono. Poi Gesù ordinò loro severamente, dicendo: Badate che nessuno lo sappia. |
| 31 | Mais eux, étant partis, répandirent sa renommée dans tout ce pays-là. | But they went forth, and spread abroad his fame in all that land. | Ma essi, usciti fuori, divulgarono la sua fama per tutto quel paese. |
| 32 | Et comme ils sortaient, voici, on lui amena un homme muet, démoniaque. | And as they went forth, behold, there was brought to him a dumb man possessed with a demon. | Ora, come quei ciechi uscivano, gli fu presentato un uomo muto e indemoniato, |
| 33 | Et le démon ayant été chassé, le muet parla. Et les foules s'en étonnèrent, disant: Il ne s'est jamais rien vu de pareil en Israël; | And when the demon was cast out, the dumb man spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel. | E, quando il demone fu scacciato, il muto parlò e le folle si meravigliarono dicendo: Non si è mai vista una simile cosa in Israele. |
| 34 | mais les pharisiens disaient: Il chasse les démons par le chef des démons. | But the Pharisees said, By the prince of the demons casteth he out demons. | Ma i farisei dicevano: Egli scaccia i demoni con l'aiuto del principe dei demoni!. |
| 35 | Jésus allait par toutes les villes et par les villages, enseignant dans leurs synagogues, et prêchant l'évangile du royaume, et guérissant toute maladie et toute langueur. | And Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease and all manner of sickness. | E Gesù andava attorno per tutte le città e i villaggi, insegnando nelle loro sinagoghe, predicando l'evangelo del regno e guarendo ogni malattia e ogni infermità fra il popolo. |
| 36 | Et voyant les foules, il fut ému de compassion pour elles, parce qu'ils étaient las et dispersés, comme des brebis qui n'ont pas de berger. | But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were distressed and scattered, as sheep not having a shepherd. | Vedendo le folle, ne ebbe compassione perché erano stanche e disperse, come pecore senza pastore. |
| 37 | Alors il dit à ses disciples: La moisson est grande, mais il y a peu d'ouvriers: | Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest indeed is plenteous, but the laborers are few. | Allora egli disse ai suoi discepoli: La mèsse è veramente grande, ma gli operai sono pochi. |
| 38 | suppliez donc le Seigneur de la moisson, en sorte qu'il pousse des ouvriers dans sa moisson. | Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth laborers into his harvest. | Pregate dunque il Signore della mèsse che spinga degli operai nella sua mèsse. |
