| 8 | Et les folles dirent aux prudentes: Donnez-nous de votre huile, car nos lampes s'éteignent. | And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. | E le stolte dissero alle avvedute: "Dateci del vostro olio, perché le nostre lampade stanno per spegnersi". |
| 9 | Mais les prudentes répondirent, disant: Non, de peur qu'il n'y en ait pas assez pour nous et pour vous; allez plutôt vers ceux qui en vendent, et achetez-en pour vous-mêmes. | But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. | Ma le avvedute, rispondendo. dissero: "No, perché non basterebbe né a noi né a voi; andate piuttosto dai venditori e compratene". |
| 10 | Or, comme elles s'en allaient pour en acheter, l'époux vint; et celles qui étaient prêtes entrèrent avec lui aux noces; et la porte fut fermée. | And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. | Ora, mentre quelle andavano a comprarne, arrivò lo sposo; le vergini che erano pronte entrarono con lui per le nozze; e la porta fu chiusa. |
| 11 | Ensuite viennent aussi les autres vierges, disant: Seigneur, Seigneur, ouvre-nous! | Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. | Più tardi giunsero anche le altre vergini, dicendo: "Signore, signore, aprici". |

| 13 | Veillez donc; car vous ne savez ni le jour ni l'heure. | Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. | Vegliate dunque, perché non sapete né il giorno, né l'ora in cui il Figlio dell'uomo verrà. |

| 18 | Mais celui qui en avait reçu un, s'en alla et creusa dans la terre, et cacha l'argent de son maître. | But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. | Ma colui che ne aveva ricevuto uno andò, fece una buca in terra e nascose il denaro del suo signore. |
| 19 | Et longtemps après, le maître de ces esclaves vient et règle compte avec eux. | After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. | Ora, dopo molto tempo, ritornò il signore di quei servi e fece i conti con loro. |

| 21 | Son maître lui dit: Bien, bon et fidèle esclave; tu as été fidèle en peu de chose, je t'établirai sur beaucoup: entre dans la joie de ton maître. | His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. | E il suo signore gli disse: "Bene, buono e fedele servo; tu sei stato fedele in poca cosa, io ti costituirò sopra molte cose; entra nella gioia del tuo signore". |

| 32 | et toutes les nations seront assemblées devant lui; et il séparera les uns d'avec les autres, comme un berger sépare les brebis d'avec les chèvres; | And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: | E tutte le genti saranno radunate davanti a lui; ed egli separerà gli uni dagli altri, come il pastore separa le pecore dai capri. |
| 33 | et il mettra les brebis à sa droite et les chèvres à sa gauche. | And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. | E metterà le pecore alla sua destra e i capri alla sinistra. |
| 34 | Alors le roi dira à ceux qui seront à sa droite: Venez, les bénis de mon Père, héritez du royaume qui vous est préparé dès la fondation du monde; | Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: | Allora il Re dirà a coloro che saranno alla sua destra: "Venite, benedetti del Padre mio; ricevete in eredità il regno che vi è stato preparato sin dalla fondazione del mondo. |

| 37 | Alors les justes lui répondront, disant: Seigneur, quand est-ce que nous t'avons vu avoir faim, et que nous t'avons nourri; ou avoir soif, et que nous t'avons donné à boire? | Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? | Allora i giusti gli risponderanno, dicendo: "Signore, quando ti abbiamo visto affamato e ti abbiamo dato da mangiare? O assetato e ti abbiamo dato da bere? |
| 38 | Et quand est-ce que nous t'avons vu étranger, et que nous t'avons recueilli; ou nu, et que nous t'avons vêtu? | When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? | E quando ti abbiamo visto forestiero e ti abbiamo ospitato? O ignudo e ti abbiamo rivestito? |
| 39 | Et quand est-ce que nous t'avons vu infirme, ou en prison, et que nous sommes venus auprès de toi? | Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? | E quando ti abbiamo visto infermo, o in prigione e siamo venuti a visitarti?" |
| 40 | Et le roi, répondant, leur dira: En vérité, je vous dis: En tant que vous l'avez fait à l'un des plus petits de ceux-ci qui sont mes frères, vous me l'avez fait à moi. | And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. | E il Re, rispondendo, dirà loro: "in verità vi dico: tutte le volte che l'avete fatto ad uno di questi miei minimi fratelli, l'avete fatto a me". |

| 44 | Alors eux aussi répondront, disant: Seigneur, quand est-ce que nous t'avons vu avoir faim, ou avoir soif, ou être étranger, ou nu, ou infirme, ou en prison, et que nous ne t'avons pas servi? | Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? | Allora anche questi gli risponderanno, dicendo: "Signore, quando ti abbiamo visto affamato, o assetato, o forestiero, o ignudo, o infermo, o in prigione e non ti abbiamo soccorso?". |
