| 1 | Et Jésus sortit et s'en alla du temple; et ses disciples s'approchèrent pour lui montrer les bâtiments du temple. | And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. | Ora, mentre Gesù usciva dal tempio e se ne andava, i suoi discepoli gli si accostarono per fargli osservare gli edifici del tempio. |

En vérité, je vous dis: Il ne sera point laissé ici pierre sur pierre qui ne soit jetée à bas. | And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. | Ma Gesù disse loro: Non vedete voi tutte queste cose? In verità vi dico che non resterà qui pietra su pietra che non sarà diroccata. |
| 3 | Et comme il était assis sur la montagne des Oliviers, les disciples vinrent à lui en particulier, disant: Dis-nous quand ces choses auront lieu, et quel sera le signe de ta venue et de la consommation du siècle. | And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? | Poi, mentre egli era seduto sul monte degli Ulivi, i discepoli gli si accostarono in disparte, dicendo: Dicci, quando avverranno queste cose? E quale sarà il segno della tua venuta e della fine dell'età presente?. |
| 4 | Et Jésus, répondant, leur dit: Prenez garde que personne ne vous séduise; | And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. | E Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: Guardate che nessuno vi seduca! |
| 5 | plusieurs viendront en mon nom, disant: Moi, je suis le Christ; et ils en séduiront plusieurs. | For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. | Poiché molti verranno nel mio nome, dicendo: "io sono il Cristo" e ne sedurranno molti. |
| 6 | Et vous entendrez parler de guerres et de bruits de guerres; prenez garde que vous ne soyez troublés, car il faut que tout arrive; mais la fin n'est pas encore. | And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. | Allora sentirete parlare di guerre e di rumori di guerre; guardate di non turbarvi, perché bisogna che tutte queste cose avvengano ma non sarà ancora la fine. |
| 7 | Car nation s'élèvera contre nation, et royaume contre royaume; et il y aura des famines, et des pestes, et des tremblements de terre en divers lieux. | For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. | Infatti si solleverà popolo contro popolo e regno contro regno; vi saranno carestie, pestilenze e terremoti in vari luoghi |

| 9 | Alors ils vous livreront pour être affligés, et ils vous feront mourir; et vous serez haïs de toutes les nations à cause de mon nom. | Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. | Allora vi sottoporranno a supplizi e vi uccideranno; e sarete odiati da tutte le genti a causa del mio nome. |
| 10 | Et alors plusieurs seront scandalisés, et se livreront l'un l'autre; et se haïront l'un l'autre; | And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. | Allora molti si scandalizzeranno, si tradiranno e si odieranno l'un l'altro. |
| 11 | et plusieurs faux prophètes s'élèveront et en séduiront plusieurs: | And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. | E sorgeranno molti falsi profeti, e ne sedurranno molti. |
| 12 | et parce que l'iniquité prévaudra, l'amour de plusieurs sera refroidi; | And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. | E perché l'iniquità sarà moltiplicata, l'amore di molti si raffredderà; |
| 13 | mais celui qui persévérera jusqu'à la fin, celui-là sera sauvé. | But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. | ma chi avrà perseverato fino alla fine sarà salvato, |
| 14 | Et cet évangile du royaume sera prêché dans la terre habitée tout entière, en témoignage à toutes les nations; et alors viendra la fin. | And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. | E questo evangelo del regno sarà predicato in tutto il mondo in testimonianza a tutte le genti, e allora verrà la fine. |
| 15 | Quand donc vous verrez l'abomination de la désolation, dont il a été parlé par Daniel le prophète, établie dans le lieu saint (que celui qui lit comprenne), | When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) | Quando dunque avrete visto l'abominazione della desolazione predetta dal profeta Daniele, posta nel luogo santo (chi legge intenda), |
| 16 | alors que ceux qui sont en Judée s'enfuient dans les montagnes; | Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: | allora coloro che sono nella Giudea fuggano ai monti. |
| 17 | que celui qui est sur le toit ne descende pas pour emporter ses effets hors de sa maison; | Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: | Chi si trova sulla terrazza della casa, non scenda a prendere qualcosa di casa sua; |
| 18 | et que celui qui est aux champs ne retourne pas en arrière pour emporter son vêtement. | Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. | e chi è nei campi, non torni indietro a prendere il suo mantello. |
| 19 | Mais malheur à celles qui sont enceintes et à celles qui allaitent en ces jours-là! | And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! | Ma guai alle donne incinte e a quelle che allatteranno in quei giorni! |
| 20 | Et priez que votre fuite n'ait pas lieu en hiver, ni un jour de sabbat; | But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: | E pregate che la vostra fuga non accada d'inverno, né di sabato |
| 21 | car alors il y aura une grande tribulation, telle qu'il n'y en a point eu depuis le commencement du monde jusqu'à maintenant, et qu'il n'y en aura jamais. | For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. | perché allora vi sarà una tribolazione così grande, quale non vi fu mai dal principio del mondo fino ad ora né mai più vi sarà. |
| 22 | Et si ces jours là n'eussent été abrégés, nulle chair n'eût été sauvée; mais, à cause des élus, ces jours là seront abrégés. | And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. | E se quei giorni non fossero abbreviati, nessuna carne si salverebbe; ma a motivo degli eletti quei giorni saranno abbreviati. |
| 23 | Alors, si quelqu'un vous dit: Voici, le Christ est ici, ou: Il est là, ne le croyez pas. | Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. | Allora se qualcuno vi dice: "Ecco, il Cristo è qui" oppure "è là" non gli credete. |
| 24 | Car il s'élèvera de faux christs et de faux prophètes; et ils montreront de grands signes et des prodiges, de manière à séduire, si possible, même les élus. | For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. | Perché sorgeranno falsi cristi e falsi profeti, e faranno grandi segni e miracoli tanto da sedurre, se fosse possibile anche gli eletti. |
| 25 | Voici, je vous l'ai dit à l'avance. | Behold, I have told you before. | Ecco, io ve l'ho predetto. |
| 26 | Si donc on vous dit: Voici, il est au désert, ne sortez pas; voici, il est dans les chambres intérieures, ne le croyez pas. | Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. | Se dunque vi dicono: "Ecco è nel deserto" non vi andate: "Ecco è nelle stanze segrete" non ci credete. |
| 27 | Car comme l'éclair sort de l'orient et apparaît jusqu'à l'occident, ainsi sera la venue du fils de l'homme. | For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. | Infatti, come il lampo esce da levante e sfolgora fino a ponente così sarà la venuta del Figlio dell'uomo. |
| 28 | Car, où que soit le corps mort, là s'assembleront les aigles. | For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. | Poiché dovunque sarà il carname, li si aduneranno le aquile. |
| 29 | Et aussitôt après la tribulation de ces jours-là, le soleil sera obscurci, et la lune ne donnera pas sa lumière, et les étoiles tomberont du ciel, et les puissances des cieux seront ébranlées. | Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: | Ora, subito dopo l'afflizione di quei giorni, il sole si oscurerà e la luna non darà il suo chiarore, le stelle cadranno dal cielo e le potenze dei cieli saranno scrollate. |
| 30 | Et alors paraîtra le signe du fils de l'homme dans le ciel: et alors toutes les tribus de la terre se lamenteront et verront le fils de l'homme venant sur les nuées du ciel, avec puissance et une grande gloire. | And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. | E allora apparirà nel cielo il segno del Figlio dell'uomo; e tutte le nazioni della terra faranno cordoglio e vedranno il Figlio dell'uomo venire sulle nuvole del cielo con potenza e grande gloria. |
| 31 | Et il enverra ses anges avec un grand son de trompette; et ils rassembleront ses élus des quatre vents, depuis l'un des bouts du ciel jusqu'à l'autre bout. | And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. | Ed egli manderà i suoi angeli con un potente suono di tromba, ed essi raccoglieranno i suoi eletti dai quattro venti, da una estremità dei cieli all'altra. |
| 32 | Mais apprenez du figuier la parabole qu'il vous offre: Quand déjà son rameau est tendre et qu'il pousse des feuilles, vous connaissez que l'été est proche. | Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: | Ora imparate dal fico questa similitudine: quando ormai i suoi rami s'inteneriscono e le fronde germogliano, sapete che l'estate è vicina. |
| 33 | De même aussi vous, quand vous verrez toutes ces choses, sachez que cela est proche, à la porte. | So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. | Così anche voi, quando vedrete tutte queste cose, sappiate che egli è vicino, anzi alle porte. |
| 34 | En vérité, je vous dis: Cette génération ne passera point que toutes ces choses ne soient arrivées. | Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. | In verità vi dico che questa generazione non passerà, finché tutte queste cose non siano avvenute. |
| 35 | Le ciel et la terre passeront, mais mes paroles ne passeront point. | Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. | Il cielo e la terra passeranno, ma le mie parole non passeranno. |
| 36 | Mais, quant à ce jour-là et à l'heure, personne n'en a connaissance, pas même les anges des cieux, si ce n'est mon Père seul. | But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. | Quanto poi a quel giorno e a quell'ora, nessuno li conosce, neppure gli angeli dei cieli, ma soltanto il Padre mio. |
| 37 | Mais comme ont été les jours de Noé, ainsi sera aussi la venue du fils de l'homme. | But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. | Ma come fu ai giorni di Noè, così sarà anche alla venuta del Figlio dell'uomo. |
| 38 | Car, comme dans les jours avant le déluge on mangeait et on buvait, on se mariait et on donnait en mariage, jusqu'au jour où Noé entra dans l'arche, | For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, | Infatti, come nei giorni che precedettero il diluvio, le persone mangiavano, bevevano, si sposavano ed erano date in moglie, fino a quando Noè entrò nell'arca; |
| 39 | et ils ne connurent rien, jusqu'à ce que le déluge vint et les emporta tous, ainsi sera aussi la venue du fils de l'homme. | And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. | e non si avvidero di nulla, finché venne il diluvio e li portò via tutti; così sarà pure alla venuta del Figlio dell'uomo. |
| 40 | Alors deux hommes seront au champ, l'un sera pris et l'autre laissé; | Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. | Allora due saranno nel campo; uno sarà preso e l'altro lasciato. |
| 41 | deux femmes moudront à la meule, l'une sera prise et l'autre laissée. | Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. | Due donne macineranno al mulino, una sarà presa e l'altra lasciata. |
| 42 | Veillez donc; car vous ne savez pas à quelle heure votre Seigneur vient. | Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. | Vegliate dunque, perché non sapete a che ora il vostro Signore verrà. |
| 43 | Mais sachez ceci, que si le maître de la maison eût su à quelle veille le voleur devait venir, il eût veillé, et n'eût pas laissé percer sa maison. | But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. | Ma sappiate questo che, se il padrone di casa sapesse a che ora della notte viene il ladro, veglierebbe e non si lascerebbe forzare la casa. |
| 44 | C'est pourquoi, vous aussi, soyez prêts; car, à l'heure que vous ne pensez pas, le fils de l'homme vient. | Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. | Perciò anche voi siate pronti, perché nell'ora che non pensate, il Figlio dell'uomo verrà. |
| 45 | Qui donc est l'esclave fidèle et prudent, que son maître a établi sur les domestiques de sa maison pour leur donner leur nourriture au temps convenable? | Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? | Qual è dunque quel servo fedele e avveduto, che il suo padrone ha preposto ai suoi domestici, per dar loro il cibo a suo tempo? |
| 46 | Bienheureux est cet esclave-là que son maître, lorsqu'il viendra, trouvera faisant ainsi. | Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. | Beato quel servo che il suo padrone, quando egli tornerà, troverà facendo così. |
| 47 | En vérité, je vous dis qu'il l'établira sur tous ses biens. | Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. | In verità vi dico che gli affiderà l'amministrazione di tutti i suoi beni. |
| 48 | Mais si ce méchant esclave-là dit en son coeur: Mon maître tarde à venir, | But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; | Ma, se quel malvagio servo dice in cuor suo: "il mio padrone tarda a venire" |
| 49 | et qu'il se mette à battre ceux qui sont esclaves avec lui, et qu'il mange et boive avec les ivrognes, | And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; | e comincia a battere i suoi conservi, e a mangiare e a bere con gli ubriaconi; |
| 50 | le maître de cet esclave-là viendra en un jour qu'il n'attend pas, et à une heure qu'il ne sait pas, | The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, | il padrone di quel servo verrà nel giorno in cui meno se l'aspetta e nell'ora che egli non sa; |
| 51 | et il le coupera en deux et lui donnera sa part avec les hypocrites: là seront les pleurs et les grincements de dents. | And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. | lo punirà duramente e gli riserverà la sorte degli ipocriti. Lì sarà il pianto e lo stridor di denti. |
