Jésus, prenant la parole, leur parla de nouveau en parabole, et il dit :And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,And Jesus answered and spake again in parables unto them, saying,E Gesù, riprendendo la parola, di nuovo parlò loro in parabole dicendo:
The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,Il regno dei cieli è simile a un re, il quale preparò le nozze di suo figlio.
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the marriage feast: and they would not come.E mandò i suoi servi a chiamare gli invitati alle nozze, ma questi non vollero venire.
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.Again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them that are bidden, Behold, I have made ready my dinner; my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage feast.
Mais, sans s'inquiéter de l'invitation, ils s'en allèrent, celui-ci à son champ, celui-là à son trafic ;But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise;Ma essi, non curandosene, se ne andarono chi al proprio campo, chi ai propri affari.
And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.and the rest laid hold on his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.E gli altri, presi i suoi servi, li oltraggiarono e li uccisero.
But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. But the king was wroth; and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they that were bidden were not worthy.
Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast.
So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.E quei servi, usciti per le strade, radunarono tutti coloro che trovarono cattivi e buoni, e la sala delle nozze si riempì di commensali.
Le roi entra pour voir ceux qui étaient à table, et il aperçut là un homme qui n'avait pas revêtu un habit de noces.And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:Ora il re, entrato per vedere i commensali, vi trovò un uomo che non indossava l'abito da nozze;
And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless.e gli disse: "amico come sei entrato qui senza avere l'abito da nozze?"
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
For many are called, but few are chosen. For many are called, but few chosen.
Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might ensnare him in [his] talk.
And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.And they send to him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one: for thou regardest not the person of men.E gli mandarono i propri discepoli, con gli erodiani, per dirgli: Maestro, noi sappiamo che tu sei verace e che insegni la via di Dio in verità, senza preoccuparti del giudizio di alcuno, perché tu non riguardi all'apparenza delle persone.
Dis-nous donc ce qu'il t'en semble : est-il permis, ou non, de payer le tribut à César ?Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?Dicci dunque: Che te ne pare? è lecito o no pagare il tributo a Cesare?.
Jésus, connaissant leur méchanceté, répondit : Pourquoi me tentez-vous, hypocrites ?But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why make ye trial of me, ye hypocrites?
Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.Show me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a denarius.
And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.They say unto him, Caesar`s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things that are Caesar`s; and unto God the things that are God`s.Essi gli dissero: Di Cesare.
When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.And when they heard it, they marvelled, and left him, and went away.
The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,On that day there came to him Sadducees, they that say that there is no resurrection: and they asked him,In quello stesso giorno vennero da lui i sadducei, i quali dicono che non vi è risurrezione, e lo interrogarono,
Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.saying, Teacher, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.dicendo: Maestro, Mosè ha detto: "se qualcuno muore senza avere figli, il suo fratello ne sposi la moglie, per dare una discendenza a suo fratello"
Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first married and deceased, and having no seed left his wife unto his brother;Ora, c'erano tra noi sette fratelli, il primo dopo essersi sposato morì e, non avendo discendenza, lasciò la moglie a suo fratello.
Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.in like manner the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
And last of all the woman died also. And after them all, the woman died.
Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.In the resurrection therefore whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. Poiché tutti l'ebbero come moglie.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.But Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.Ma Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: Voi sbagliate, non comprendendo né le Scritture né la potenza di Dio.
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven.
But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,Quanto poi alla risurrezione dei morti, non avete letto ciò che vi fu detto da Dio, quando disse:
Dieu n'est pas Dieu des morts, mais des vivants.I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not [the God] of the dead, but of the living.IO sono il Dio di Abrahamo, il Dio d'Isacco e di Giacobbe Dio non è il Dio dei morti, ma dei viventi.
And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine. And when the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.E le folle, udite queste cose, stupivano della sua dottrina,
Les pharisiens, ayant appris qu'il avait réduit au silence les sadducéens, se rassemblèrent,But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, gathered themselves together.Allora i farisei, avendo udito che egli aveva messo a tacere i sadducei, si radunarono insieme.
et l'un d'eux, docteur de la loi, lui fit cette question, pour l'éprouver :Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, trying him:E uno di loro, dottore della legge, lo interrogò per metterlo alla prova, dicendo:
Maître, quel est le plus grand commandement de la loi ?Master, which is the great commandment in the law?Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.E Gesù gli disse: "ama il Signore Dio tuo con tutto il tuo cuore, con tutta l'anima tua e con tutta la tua mente".
This is the first and great commandment. This is the great and first commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. And a second like [unto it] is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.E il secondo, simile a questo, è: "ama il tuo prossimo come te stesso".
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.
While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,Ora, essendo i farisei riuniti, Gesù chiese loro:
en disant : Que pensez-vous du Christ ? De qui est-il fils ? Ils lui répondirent : De David.Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.saying, What think ye of the Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, [The son] of David.Che ve ne pare del Cristo? Di chi è figlio?. Essi gli dissero: Di Davide.
Et Jésus leur dit : Comment donc David, animé par l'Esprit, l'appelle-t-il Seigneur, lorsqu'il dit :He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,He saith unto them, How then doth David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,Egli disse loro: Come mai dunque Davide, per lo Spirito, lo chiama Signore, dicendo:
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I put thine enemies underneath thy feet?
Si donc David l'appelle Seigneur, comment est-il son fils ?If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?If David then calleth him Lord, how is he his son?
And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions. And no one was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
