| 4 | Il envoya encore d'autres esclaves, disant: Dites aux conviés: Voici, j'ai apprêté mon dîner; mes taureaux et mes bêtes grasses sont tués et tout est prêt: venez aux noces. | Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. | Di nuovo mandò altri servi dicendo: "Dite agl'invitati: Ecco, io ho apparecchiato il mio pranzo, i miei vitelli e i miei animali ingrassati sono ammazzati ed è tutto pronto; venite alle nozze". |

| 7 | Et le roi, l'ayant entendu, en fut irrité; et ayant envoyé ses troupes, il fit périr ces meurtriers-là et brûla leur ville. | But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. | Il re allora, udito ciò, si adirò e mandò i suoi eserciti per sterminare quegli omicidi e per incendiare la loro città. |

| 10 | Et ces esclaves-là, étant sortis, s'en allèrent par les chemins, et assemblèrent tous ceux qu'ils trouvèrent, tant mauvais que bons; et la salle des noces fut remplie de gens qui étaient à table. | So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. | E quei servi, usciti per le strade, radunarono tutti coloro che trovarono cattivi e buoni, e la sala delle nozze si riempì di commensali. |
| 11 | Et le roi, étant entré pour voir ceux qui étaient à table, aperçut là un homme qui n'était pas vêtu d'une robe de noces. | And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: | Ora il re, entrato per vedere i commensali, vi trovò un uomo che non indossava l'abito da nozze; |
| 12 | Et il lui dit: Ami, comment es-tu entré ici, sans avoir une robe de noces? Et il eut la bouche fermée. | And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. | e gli disse: "amico come sei entrato qui senza avere l'abito da nozze?" E quegli rimase con la bocca chiusa. |
| 13 | Alors le roi dit aux serviteurs: Liez-le pieds et mains, emportez-le, et jetez-le dans les ténèbres de dehors: là seront les pleurs et les grincements de dents. | Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. | Allora il re disse ai servi: "Legatelo mani e piedi, prendetelo e gettatelo nelle tenebre di fuori. | 16 | Et ils lui envoient leurs disciples avec les hérodiens, disant: Maître, nous savons que tu es vrai et que tu enseignes la voie de Dieu en vérité, et que tu ne t'embarrasses de personne, car tu ne regardes pas à l'apparence des hommes. | And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men. | E gli mandarono i propri discepoli, con gli erodiani, per dirgli: Maestro, noi sappiamo che tu sei verace e che insegni la via di Dio in verità, senza preoccuparti del giudizio di alcuno, perché tu non riguardi all'apparenza delle persone. |
| 17 | Dis-nous donc, que t'en semble: est-il permis de payer le tribut à César, ou non? | Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? | Dicci dunque: Che te ne pare? è lecito o no pagare il tributo a Cesare?. |
| 18 | Et Jésus, connaissant leur méchanceté, dit: Pourquoi me tentez-vous, hypocrites? | But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? | Ma Gesù, conoscendo la loro malizia, disse: Perché mi tentate, ipocriti? |
| 19 | Montrez-moi la monnaie du tribut. | Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny. | Mostratemi la moneta del tributo. Allora essi gli presentarono un denaro. |

Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. | Essi gli dissero: Di Cesare. | 24 | Maître, Moïse dit: Si quelqu'un meurt n'ayant pas d'enfants, son frère épousera sa femme, et suscitera de la postérité à son frère. | Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. | dicendo: Maestro, Mosè ha detto: "se qualcuno muore senza avere figli, il suo fratello ne sposi la moglie, per dare una discendenza a suo fratello" |
| 25 | Or il y avait parmi nous sept frères; et le premier s'étant marié, mourut, et n'ayant pas de postérité, il laissa sa femme à son frère; | Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: | Ora, c'erano tra noi sette fratelli, il primo dopo essersi sposato morì e, non avendo discendenza, lasciò la moglie a suo fratello. |
| 26 | de la même manière le second aussi et le troisième, jusqu'au septième; | Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. | Così anche il secondo e il terzo, fino al settimo. |

| 28 | Dans la résurrection donc, duquel des sept sera-t-elle la femme, car tous l'ont eue? | Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. | Alla risurrezione, dunque, di chi dei sette costei sarà moglie? Poiché tutti l'ebbero come moglie. |

Dieu n'est pas le Dieu des morts, mais des vivants. | I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? | 34 | Et les pharisiens, ayant ouï dire qu'il avait fermé la bouche aux sadducéens, s'assemblèrent en un même lieu. | But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. | Allora i farisei, avendo udito che egli aveva messo a tacere i sadducei, si radunarono insieme. |
| 35 | Et l'un d'eux, docteur de la loi, l'interrogea pour l'éprouver, disant: | Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, | E uno di loro, dottore della legge, lo interrogò per metterlo alla prova, dicendo: |
| 36 | Maître, quel est le grand commandement dans la loi? | Master, which is the great commandment in the law? | Maestro, qual è il grande comandamento della legge?. |
| 37 | Et il lui dit: "Tu aimeras le Seigneur ton Dieu de tout ton coeur, et de toute ton âme, et de toute ta pensée". | Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. | E Gesù gli disse: "ama il Signore Dio tuo con tutto il tuo cuore, con tutta l'anima tua e con tutta la tua mente". |
| 38 | C'est là le grand et premier commandement. | This is the first and great commandment. | Questo è il primo e il gran comandamento. |
| 39 | Et le second lui est semblable: "Tu aimeras ton prochain comme toi-même". | And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. | E il secondo, simile a questo, è: "ama il tuo prossimo come te stesso". |
| 40 | De ces deux commandements dépendent la loi tout entière et les prophètes. | On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. | Da questi due comandamenti dipendono tutta la legge e i profeti, |
| 41 | Et les pharisiens étant assemblés, Jésus les interrogea, disant: | While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, | Ora, essendo i farisei riuniti, Gesù chiese loro: |
| 42 | Que vous semble-t-il du Christ? - de qui est-il fils? Ils lui disent: De David. | Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David. | Che ve ne pare del Cristo? Di chi è figlio?. Essi gli dissero: Di Davide. |
| 43 | Il leur dit: Comment donc David, en Esprit, l'appelle-t-il seigneur, disant: | He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, | Egli disse loro: Come mai dunque Davide, per lo Spirito, lo chiama Signore, dicendo: |
| 44 | Le Seigneur a dit à mon seigneur: Assieds-toi à ma droite, jusqu'à ce que je mette tes ennemis sous tes pieds? | The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? | Il Signore ha detto al mio Signore: "Siedi alla mia destra, finché io abbia posto i tuoi nemici come sgabello dei tuoi piedi"? |
| 45 | Si donc David l'appelle seigneur, comment est-il son fils? | If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? | Se dunque Davide lo chiama Signore, come può essere suo figlio?. |
| 46 | Et personne ne pouvait lui répondre un mot; et personne, depuis ce jour-là, n'osa plus l'interroger. | And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions. | Ma nessuno era in grado di rispondergli; e, da quel giorno, nessuno osò più interrogarlo. |
