| 1 | Car le royaume des cieux est semblable à un maître de maison qui sortit dès le point du jour afin de louer des ouvriers pour sa vigne. | For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. | Il regno dei cieli infatti è simile a un padrone di casa, che di buon mattino uscì per prendere a giornata dei lavoratori e mandarli nella sua vigna. |
| 2 | Et étant tombé d'accord avec les ouvriers pour un denier par jour, il les envoya dans sa vigne. | And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. | Accordatosi con i lavoratori per un denaro al giorno, li mandò nella sua vigna. |
| 3 | Et sortant vers la troisième heure, il en vit d'autres qui étaient sur la place du marché à ne rien faire; | And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, | Uscito poi verso l'ora terza, ne vide altri che stavano in piazza disoccupati. |
| 4 | et il dit à ceux-ci: Allez, vous aussi, dans la vigne, et je vous donnerai ce qui sera juste; | And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. | E disse loro: "Andate anche voi nella vigna e io vi darò ciò che è giusto" Ed essi andarono. |

| 6 | Et sortant vers la onzième heure, il en trouva d'autres qui étaient là; et il leur dit: Pourquoi vous tenez-vous ici tout le jour sans rien faire? | And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? | Uscito ancora verso l'undicesima ora, ne trovò altri che se ne stavano disoccupati e disse loro: "Perché ve ne state qui tutto il giorno senza far nulla?" |
| 7 | Ils lui disent: Parce que personne ne nous a engagés. Il leur dit: Allez, vous aussi, dans la vigne, et vous recevrez ce qui sera juste. | They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. | Essi gli dissero: "Perché nessuno ci ha presi a giornata" Egli disse loro: "Andate anche voi nella vigna e riceverete ciò che è giusto" |
| 8 | Et le soir étant venu, le maître de la vigne dit à son intendant: Appelle les ouvriers, et paye-leur leur salaire, en commençant depuis les derniers jusqu'aux premiers. | So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. | Poi fattosi sera, il padrone della vigna disse al suo fattore: "Chiama i lavoratori e paga loro il salario, cominciando dagli ultimi fino ai primi" |

| 10 | et quand les premiers furent venus, ils croyaient recevoir davantage, mais ils reçurent, eux aussi, chacun un denier. | But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. | Quando vennero i primi, pensavano di ricevere di più, ma ricevettero anch'essi un denaro per uno. |
| 11 | Et l'ayant reçu, ils murmuraient contre le maître de maison, | And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, | Nel riceverlo, mormoravano contro il padrone di casa, |
| 12 | disant: Ces derniers n'ont travaillé qu'une heure, et tu les as faits égaux à nous qui avons porté le faix du jour et la chaleur. | Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. | dicendo: "Questi ultimi hanno lavorato solo un'ora, e tu li hai trattati come noi che abbiamo sopportato il peso e il caldo della giornata". |
| 13 | Et lui, répondant, dit à l'un d'entre eux: Mon ami, je ne te fais pas tort: n'es-tu pas tombé d'accord avec moi pour un denier? | But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? | Ma egli, rispondendo, disse a uno di loro: "amico, io non ti faccio alcun torto; non ti sei accordato con me per un denaro? |
| 14 | Prends ce qui est à toi et va-t'en. Mais je veux donner à ce dernier autant qu'à toi. | Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. | Prendi ciò che è tuo e vattene; ma io voglio dare a quest'ultimo quanto a te. |
| 15 | Ne m'est-il pas permis de faire ce que je veux de ce qui est mien? Ton oeil est-il méchant, parce que moi, je suis bon? | Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? | Non mi è forse lecito fare del mio ciò che voglio? O il tuo occhio è cattivo, perché io sono buono?" |
| 16 | Ainsi les derniers seront les premiers, et les premiers les derniers, car il y a beaucoup d'appelés, mais peu d'élus. | So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. | Così gli ultimi saranno primi e i primi ultimi, perché molti sono chiamati, ma pochi eletti. |
| 17 | Et Jésus, montant à Jérusalem, prit à part sur le chemin les douze disciples, et leur dit: | And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, | Poi, mentre Gesù saliva a Gerusalemme, strada facendo, prese in disparte i dodici discepoli e disse loro: |
| 18 | Voici, nous montons à Jérusalem, et le fils de l'homme sera livré aux principaux sacrificateurs et aux scribes, et ils le condamneront à mort; | Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, | Ecco, noi saliamo a Gerusalemme e il Figlio dell'uomo sarà dato in mano dei capi dei sacerdoti e degli scribi, ed essi lo condanneranno a morte. |
| 19 | et ils le livreront aux nations pour s'en moquer, et le fouetter, et le crucifier; et le troisième jour il ressuscitera. | And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again. | Lo consegneranno poi nelle mani dei gentili perché sia schernito, flagellato e crocifisso; ma il terzo giorno egli risusciterà. |
| 20 | Alors la mère des fils de Zébédée vint à lui avec ses fils, lui rendant hommage et lui demandant quelque chose. | Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. | Allora la madre dei figli di Zebedeo si accostò a lui con i suoi figli, si prostrò e gli chiese qualche cosa. |
| 21 | Et il lui dit: Que veux-tu? Elle lui dit: Ordonne que mes deux fils que voici, s'asseyent, l'un à ta droite et l'un à ta gauche, dans ton royaume. | And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. | Ed egli le disse: Che vuoi?. Ella rispose: Ordina che questi miei due figli siedano l'uno alla tua destra e l'altro alla sinistra nel tuo regno. |
| 22 | Et Jésus, répondant, dit: Vous ne savez ce que vous demandez. Pouvez-vous boire la coupe que moi, je vais boire? Ils lui disent: Nous le pouvons. | But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. | E Gesù, rispondendo, disse: Voi non sapete ciò che domandate, potete voi bere il calice che io sto per bere, ed essere battezzati del battesimo di cui io sarò battezzato?. Essi gli dissero: Sì, lo possiamo. |
| 23 | Et il leur dit: Vous boirez bien ma coupe; mais de s'asseoir à ma droite et à ma gauche, n'est pas à moi pour le donner, sinon à ceux pour lesquels cela est préparé par mon Père. | And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father. | Allora egli disse loro: Voi certo berrete il mio calice e sarete battezzati del battesimo di cui io sarò battezzato; ma sedere alla mia destra o alla mia sinistra non sta a me concederlo, ma è riservato a coloro per i quali è stato preparato dal Padre mio. |
| 24 | Et les dix, l'ayant entendu, furent indignés à l'égard des deux frères. | And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren. | All'udire ciò, gli altri dieci si indignarono contro i due fratelli. |
| 25 | Et Jésus, les ayant appelés auprès de lui, dit: Vous savez que les chefs des nations dominent sur elles, et que les grands usent d'autorité sur elles. | But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. | E Gesù, chiamatili a sé, disse: Voi sapete che i sovrani delle nazioni le signoreggiano e che i grandi esercitano il potere su di esse, |
| 26 | Il n'en sera pas ainsi parmi vous; mais quiconque voudra devenir grand parmi vous sera votre serviteur; | But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; | ma tra di voi non sarà così; anzi chiunque tra di voi vorrà diventare grande sia vostro servo; |
| 27 | et quiconque voudra être le premier parmi vous, qu'il soit votre esclave; | And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: | e chiunque tra di voi vorrà essere primo a sia vostro schiavo. |
| 28 | de même que le fils de l'homme n'est pas venu pour être servi, mais pour servir et pour donner sa vie en rançon pour plusieurs. | Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. | Poiché anche il Figlio dell'uomo non è venuto per essere servito, ma per servire e per dare la sua vita come prezzo di riscatto per molti. |
| 29 | Et comme ils sortaient de Jéricho, une grande foule le suivit. | And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him. | Mentre essi uscivano da Gerico, una grande folla li seguì. |
| 30 | Et voici, deux aveugles assis sur le bord du chemin, ayant ouï que Jésus passait, s'écrièrent, disant: Aie pitié de nous, Seigneur, Fils de David. | And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. | Ed ecco, due ciechi che sedevano lungo la strada, avendo udito che Gesù passava, si misero a gridare dicendo: Abbi pietà di noi, Signore, Figlio di Davide. |
| 31 | Et la foule les reprit, afin qu'ils se tussent; mais ils criaient plus fort, disant: Aie pitié de nous, Seigneur, Fils de David. | And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. | Ma la folla li sgridava perché tacessero; essi però gridavano ancora più forte dicendo: Abbi pietà di noi, Signore, Figlio di Davide!. |
| 32 | Et Jésus, s'arrêtant, les appela et dit: Que voulez-vous que je vous fasse? | And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? | Allora Gesù, fermatosi, li chiamò e disse: Che volete che io vi faccia?. |
| 33 | Ils lui disent: Seigneur, que nos yeux soient ouverts. | They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. | Essi gli dissero: Signore, che i nostri occhi si aprano!. |
| 34 | Et Jésus, ému de compassion, toucha leurs yeux; et aussitôt leurs yeux recouvrèrent la vue; et ils le suivirent. | So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him. | E Gesù, mosso a pietà, toccò i loro occhi; e all'istante i loro occhi recuperarono la vista e lo seguirono. |
