| 1 | Et il entra de nouveau dans Capernaüm, quelques jours après, et on ouït dire qu'il était à la maison. | And when he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was noised that he was in the house. | Alcuni giorni dopo, egli entrò di nuovo in Capernaum e si venne a sapere che egli si trovava in casa; |
| 2 | Et aussitôt beaucoup de gens s'y assemblèrent, de sorte qu'il ne se trouva plus de place, même auprès de la porte; et il leur annonçait la parole. | And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room [for them], no, not even about the door: and he spake the word unto them. | e subito si radunò tanta gente da non trovare più posto neppure davanti alla porta; ed egli annunziava loro la parola. |
| 3 | Et des gens viennent à lui, amenant un paralytique porté par quatre personnes. | And they come, bringing unto him a man sick of the palsy, borne of four. | Allora vennero da lui alcuni a presentargli un paralitico, portato da quattro uomini |
| 4 | Et ne pouvant s'approcher de lui, à cause de la foule, ils découvrirent le toit du lieu où il était; et l'ayant percé, ils descendirent le petit lit sur lequel le paralytique était couché. | And when they could not come nigh unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed whereon the sick of the palsy lay. | Ma, non potendo accostarsi a lui a causa della folla, scoperchiarono il tetto sul punto ove era Gesù e, fatta un'apertura, calarono il lettuccio sul quale giaceva il paralitico. |
| 5 | Et Jésus, voyant leur foi, dit au paralytique: Mon enfant, tes péchés sont pardonnés. | And Jesus seeing their faith saith unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven. | Come Gesù vide la loro fede, disse al paralitico: Figliolo, i tuoi peccati ti sono perdonati!. |
| 6 | Et il y avait là quelques-uns des scribes, assis et raisonnant dans leurs coeurs: | But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, | Or vi erano là seduti alcuni scribi i quali ragionavano in cuor loro: |
| 7 | Pourquoi celui-ci parle-t-il ainsi? Il blasphème. Qui peut pardonner les péchés, sinon un seul, Dieu? | Why doth this man thus speak? he blasphemeth: who can forgive sins but one, [even] God? | Perché mai costui parla in questo modo? Egli bestemmia. Chi può perdonare i peccati, se non Dio solo?. |
| 8 | Et aussitôt Jésus, connaissant dans son esprit qu'ils raisonnaient ainsi en eux-mêmes, leur dit: Pourquoi faites-vous ces raisonnements dans vos coeurs? | And straightway Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, saith unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? | Ma Gesù, avendo subito conosciuto nel suo spirito che ragionavano queste cose dentro di sé, disse loro: Perché ragionate voi queste cose nei vostri cuori? |
| 9 | Lequel est le plus facile, de dire au paralytique: Tes péchés te sont pardonnés; ou de dire: Lève-toi, prends ton petit lit, et marche? | Which is easier, to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? | Che cosa è più facile dire al paralitico: "I tuoi peccati ti sono perdonati", oppure dire: "Alzati, prendi il tuo lettuccio e cammina". |
| 10 | Or, afin que vous sachiez que le fils de l'homme a le pouvoir sur la terre de pardonner les péchés (il dit au paralytique): | But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins (he saith to the sick of the palsy), | Ora, affinché sappiate che il Figlio dell'uomo ha potestà di perdonare i peccati in terra, |
| 11 | Je te dis, lève-toi, prends ton petit lit, et va dans ta maison. | I say unto thee, Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thy house. | io ti dico (disse al paralitico): Alzati, prendi il tuo lettuccio e vattene a casa tua. |
| 12 | Et il se leva aussitôt, et ayant pris son petit lit, il sortit en la présence de tous; de sorte qu'ils en furent tous étonnés et qu'ils glorifiaient Dieu, disant: Nous ne vîmes jamais pareille chose. | And he arose, and straightway took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. | Ed egli si alzò immediatamente, prese il suo lettuccio e uscì in presenza di tutti, così che tutti stupivano e glorificavano Dio dicendo: Non abbiamo mai visto nulla di simile!. |
| 13 | Et il sortit encore et longea la mer; et toute la foule venait à lui, et il les enseignait. | And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them. | Gesù uscì di nuovo lungo il mare e tutta la folla veniva a lui, ed egli li ammaestrava. |
| 14 | Et en passant, il vit Lévi le fils d'Alphée assis au bureau de recette, et il lui dit: Suis-moi. Et se levant, il le suivit. | And as he passed by, he saw Levi the [son] of Alphaeus sitting at the place of toll, and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him. | Nel passare vide Levi figlio di Alfeo, che sedeva al banco delle imposte, e gli disse: Seguimi!. Ed egli, alzatosi, lo seguì. |
| 15 | Et il arriva, comme il était à table dans sa maison, que beaucoup de publicains et de pécheurs aussi se trouvèrent à table avec Jésus et ses disciples; car ils étaient nombreux, et ils le suivaient. | And it came to pass, that he was sitting at meat in his house, and many publicans and sinners sat down with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him. | Or avvenne che mentre egli era a tavola in casa di Levi, molti pubblicani e peccatori si misero a tavola con Gesù e con i suoi discepoli; infatti erano molti quelli che lo seguivano. |
| 16 | Et les scribes et les pharisiens, le voyant manger avec les publicains et les pécheurs, dirent à ses disciples: Pourquoi mange-t-il et boit-il avec les publicains et les pécheurs? | And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with the sinners and publicans, said unto his disciples, [How is it] that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners? | Allora gli scribi e i farisei, vedendolo mangiare con i pubblicani e con i peccatori, dissero ai suoi discepoli: Come mai mangia e beve egli in compagnia dei pubblicani e dei peccatori?. |
| 17 | Et Jésus, l'ayant entendu, leur dit: Ceux qui sont en bonne santé n'ont pas besoin de médecin, mais ceux qui se portent mal; je ne suis pas venu appeler des justes, mais des pécheurs. | And when Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners. | E Gesù, udito ciò, disse loro: Non sono i sani che hanno bisogno del medico, ma i malati; io non sono venuto a chiamare i giusti, ma i peccatori a ravvedimento. |
| 18 | Et les disciples de Jean et les pharisiens jeûnaient; et ils viennent et lui disent: Pourquoi les disciples de Jean et ceux des pharisiens jeûnent-ils, mais tes disciples ne jeûnent pas? | And John`s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting: and they come and say unto him, Why do John`s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not? | Allora i discepoli di Giovanni e quelli dei farisei stavano digiunando. Ora essi vennero da Gesù e gli dissero: Perché i discepoli di Giovanni e quelli dei farisei digiunano mentre i tuoi discepoli non digiunano?. |
| 19 | Et Jésus leur dit: Les fils de la chambre nuptiale peuvent-ils jeûner pendant que l'époux est avec eux? Aussi longtemps qu'ils ont l'époux avec eux, ils ne peuvent pas jeûner. | And Jesus said unto them, Can the sons of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast. | E Gesù disse loro: Possono forse gli amici dello sposo digiunare, mentre lo sposo è con loro? Per tutto il tempo che hanno lo sposo con loro, non possono digiunare. |
| 20 | Mais des jours viendront, lorsque l'époux leur aura été ôté: et alors ils jeûneront en ce jour-là. | But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then will they fast in that day. | Ma verranno i giorni in cui sarà loro tolto lo sposo, e allora in quei giorni digiuneranno. |
| 21 | Personne ne coud un morceau de drap neuf à un vieil habit; autrement la pièce neuve emporte une partie du vieil habit, et la déchirure en devient plus mauvaise. | No man seweth a piece of undressed cloth on an old garment: else that which should fill it up taketh from it, the new from the old, and a worse rent is made. | Nessuno cuce un pezzo di stoffa nuova sopra un vestito vecchio, altrimenti il pezzo nuovo porta via l'intero rattoppo e lo strappo si fa peggiore. |
| 22 | Et personne ne met du vin nouveau dans de vieilles outres; autrement le vin rompt les outres, et le vin se répand, et les outres sont perdues; mais le vin nouveau doit être mis dans des outres neuves. | And no man putteth new wine into old wineskins; else the wine will burst the skins, and the wine perisheth, and the skins: but [they put] new wine into fresh wine-skins. | Così, nessuno mette vino nuovo in otri vecchi, altrimenti il vino nuovo rompe gli otri, il vino si spande e gli otri si perdono; ma il vino nuovo va messo in otri nuovi. |
| 23 | Et il arriva qu'il passait par les blés en un jour de sabbat; et ses disciples, chemin faisant, se mirent à arracher des épis. | And it came to pass, that he was going on the sabbath day through the grainfields; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears. | Or avvenne che in giorno di sabato egli passava per i campi, e i suoi discepoli, strada facendo, si misero a svellere delle spighe. |
| 24 | Et les pharisiens lui dirent: Voici, pourquoi font-ils, le jour de sabbat, ce qui n'est pas permis? | And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful? | E i farisei gli dissero: Guarda, perché fanno ciò che non è lecito in giorno di sabato?. |
| 25 | Et lui leur dit: N'avez-vous jamais lu ce que fit David quand il fut dans le besoin et qu'il eut faim, lui et ceux qui étaient avec lui, | And he said unto them, Did ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry, he, and they that were with him? | Ma egli disse loro: Non avete mai letto ciò che fece Davide, quando si trovò nel bisogno ed ebbe fame, lui e quelli con lui? |
| 26 | comment, au titre "Abiathar, souverain sacrificateur", il entra dans la maison de Dieu, et mangea les pains de proposition, qu'il n'est pas permis de manger, sinon aux sacrificateurs, et en donna aussi à ceux qui étaient avec lui? | How he entered into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the showbread, which it is not lawful to eat save for the priests, and gave also to them that were with him? | Come egli entrò nella casa di Dio, al tempo del sommo sacerdote Abiatar, e mangiò i pani di presentazione che non è lecito mangiare se non ai sacerdoti, e ne diede anche a quelli che erano con lui?. |
| 27 | Et il leur dit: Le sabbat a été fait pour l'homme, non pas l'homme pour le sabbat; | And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: | Poi disse loro: Il sabato è fatto per l'uomo e non l'uomo per il sabato. |
| 28 | de sorte que le fils de l'homme est seigneur aussi du sabbat. | so that the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath. | Perciò il Figlio dell'uomo è signore anche del sabato. |
