And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.And he arose from thence and cometh into the borders of Judaea and beyond the Jordan: and multitudes come together unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.
And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.And there came unto him Pharisees, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away [his] wife? trying him.E i farisei, per metterlo alla prova, gli domandarono: E' lecito al marito ripudiare la moglie?.
And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?
And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.But Jesus said unto them, For your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment.E Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: Fu a causa della durezza del vostro cuore che egli scrisse questa disposizione;
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.But from the beginning of the creation, Male and female made he them.ma al principio della creazione, Dio li fece maschio e femmina.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife;Perciò l'uomo lascerà suo padre e sua madre e si unirà a sua moglie;
And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.and the two shall become one flesh: so that they are no more two, but one flesh.e i due diverranno una stessa carne; così non sono più due, ma una sola carne.
What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.L'uomo dunque non separi ciò che Dio ha unito!.
And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.And in the house the disciples asked him again of this matter.E in casa i suoi discepoli lo interrogarono di nuovo su questo argomento.
And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her:Allora egli disse loro: Chiunque manda via la propria moglie e ne sposa un'altra, commette adulterio contro di lei.
And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.and if she herself shall put away her husband, and marry another, she committeth adultery.
And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.And they were bringing unto him little children, that he should touch them: and the disciples rebuked them.
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me; forbid them not: for to such belongeth the kingdom of God.E Gesù, nel vedere ciò, si indignò, e disse loro: Lasciate che i piccoli fanciulli vengano a me e non glielo impedite, perché di tali è il regno di Dio.
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein.
And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.And he took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands upon them.E, presili in braccio, li benedisse, imponendo loro le mani.
And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?And as he was going forth into the way, there ran one to him, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good save one, [even] God.E Gesù gli disse: Perché mi chiami buono? Nessuno è buono, tranne uno solo, cioè Dio.
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.Thou knowest the commandments, Do not kill, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor thy father and mother.Tu conosci i comandamenti: "Non commettere adulterio. Non uccidere. Non rubare. Non dire falsa testimonianza. Non frodare. Onora tuo padre e tua madre".
And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.And he said unto him, Teacher, all these things have I observed from my youth.
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.And Jesus looking upon him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.Allora Gesù, fissandolo nel volto, l'amò e gli disse: Una cosa ti manca; va', vendi tutto quello che hai e dallo ai poveri, e avrai un tesoro nel cielo; poi vieni, prendi la tua croce e seguimi.
And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.But his countenance fell at the saying, and he went away sorrowful: for he was one that had great possessions.
And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!Allora Gesù, volgendo lo sguardo attorno, disse ai suoi discepoli: Quanto difficilmente coloro che hanno delle ricchezze entreranno nel regno di Dio!.
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!E i discepoli sbigottirono alle sue parole.
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.It is easier for a camel to go through a needle`s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.E più facile che un cammello passi per la cruna, di un ago, che un ricco entri nel regno di Dio.
And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?And they were astonished exceedingly, saying unto him, Then who can be saved?
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God.Ma Gesù, fissando lo sguardo su di loro, disse: Questo è impossibile agli uomini, ma non a Dio, perché ogni cosa è possibile a Dio,
Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.E Pietro prese a dirgli: Ecco, noi abbiamo lasciato ogni cosa e ti abbiamo seguito.
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for my sake, and for the gospel`s sake,Allora Gesù, rispondendo, disse: Io vi dico in verità che non c'è nessuno che abbia lasciato casa o fratelli o sorelle o padre o madre o moglie o figli o poderi per amor mio e dell'evangelo,
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.but he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.che non riceva il centuplo ora, in questo tempo, in case, fratelli, sorelle madre, figli e poderi, insieme a persecuzioni e, nel secolo a venire, la vita eterna.
But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.But many [that are] first shall be last; and the last first.Ma molti primi saranno ultimi, e molti ultimi saranno primi.
And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,And they were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going before them: and they were amazed; and they that followed were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them the things that were to happen unto him,Or essi si trovavano in viaggio per salire a Gerusalemme, e Gesù li precedeva, ed essi erano sgomenti e lo seguivano con timore.
Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:[saying], Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests and the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him unto the Gentiles:Ecco, noi saliamo a Gerusalemme e il Figlio dell'uomo sarà dato nelle mani dei capi dei sacerdoti e degli scribi; ed essi lo condanneranno a morte e lo consegneranno nelle mani dei gentili,
And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.and they shall mock him, and shall spit upon him, and shall scourge him, and shall kill him; and after three days he shall rise again.i quali lo scherniranno, lo flagelleranno, gli sputeranno addosso e l'uccideranno, ma il terzo giorno egli risusciterà.
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.And there come near unto him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying unto him, Teacher, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall ask of thee.
And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?
They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.And they said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and one on [thy] left hand, in thy glory.
But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I drink? or to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?E Gesù disse loro: Voi non sapete quello che domandate.
And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:And they said unto him, We are able. And Jesus said unto them, The cup that I drink ye shall drink; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:E Gesù disse loro: Voi certo berrete il calice che io bevo e sarete battezzati del battesimo di cui io sono battezzato,
But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.but to sit on my right hand or on [my] left hand is not mine to give; but [it is for them] for whom it hath been prepared.ma quanto a sedere alla mia destra o alla mia sinistra, non sta a me darlo, ma è per coloro ai quali è stato preparato.
And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.And when the ten heard it, they began to be moved with indignation concerning James and John.
But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.And Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they who are accounted to rule over the Gentiles lord it over them; and their great ones exercise authority over them.Ma Gesù, chiamatili a sé, disse loro: Voi sapete che coloro che sono ritenuti i sovrani delle nazioni le signoreggiano, e i loro grandi esercitano dominio su di esse;
But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:But it is not so among you: but whosoever would become great among you, shall be your minister;ma tra voi non sarà così; anzi chiunque vorrà diventare grande tra voi, sarà vostro servo;
And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.and whosoever would be first among you, shall be servant of all.e chiunque fra voi vorrà essere il primo, sarà schiavo di tutti.
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.For the Son of man also came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.And they come to Jericho: and as he went out from Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the way side.Giunsero così a Gerico.
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.And when he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.Or avendo udito che chi passava era Gesù il Nazareno, cominciò a gridare e a dire: Gesù, Figlio di Davide, abbi pietà di me!.
And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.And many rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried out the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.Molti lo sgridavano affinché tacesse ma egli gridava ancora più forte: Figlio di Davide, abbi pietà di me!.
And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.And Jesus stood still, and said, Call ye him. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good cheer: rise, he calleth thee.E Gesù, fermatosi, ordinò che lo si chiamasse. Chiamarono dunque il cieco dicendogli: Fatti animo, alzati, egli ti chiama!.
And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.And he, casting away his garment, sprang up, and came to Jesus.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.And Jesus answered him, and said, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? And the blind man said unto him, Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.E Gesù, rivolgendogli la parola, disse: Che vuoi che io ti faccia?.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And straightway he received his sight, and followed him in the way.E Gesù gli disse: Va la tua fede a ti ha guarito.
