| 21 | Ils se rendirent à Capharnaüm, et dès que, le jour du sabbat, il fut entré dans la synagogue, il se mit à enseigner. | And they go into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught. | Poi entrarono in Capernaum, e subito, in giorno di sabato, egli entrò nella sinagoga e insegnava. |

| 23 | Or il y avait justement dans leur synagogue un homme (possédé) d'un esprit impur, qui s'écria : | And straightway there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, | Ora nella loro sinagoga vi era un uomo posseduto da uno spirito immondo, il quale si mise a gridare, |
| 24 | "Ah ! Qu'avons-nous affaire ensemble, Jésus de Nazareth ? Vous êtes venu pour nous perdre ? Je sais qui vous êtes, le saint de Dieu." | saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus thou Nazarene? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. | dicendo: Che vi è fra noi e te, Gesù Nazareno? Sei tu venuto per distruggerci? Io so chi tu sei: Il Santo di Dio. |
| 25 | Et Jésus lui commanda avec force : "Tais-toi et sors de lui ! " | And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. | Ma Gesù lo sgridò, dicendo: Ammutolisci ed esci da costui!. |
| 26 | Et l'esprit impur l'abattit, poussa un grand cri et sortit de lui. | And the unclean spirit, tearing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him. | E lo spirito immondo, straziandolo e mandando un gran grido, uscì da lui. |
| 27 | Et tous furent saisis de stupeur à ce point qu'ils se demandaient entre eux : "Qu'est ceci ? Un enseignement nouveau avec autorité ! Et il commande aux esprits impurs, et ils lui obéissent ! " | And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What is this? a new teaching! with authority he commandeth even the unclean spirits, and they obey him. | E tutti furono sbalorditi, tanto che si domandavano fra loro dicendo: Che è mai questo? Quale nuova dottrina è mai questa? Egli comanda con autorità persino agli spiriti immondi, ed essi gli ubbidiscono. |
| 28 | Et sa renommée se répandit aussitôt dans toute la région de la Galilée. | And the report of him went out straightway everywhere into all the region of Galilee round about. | E la sua fama si diffuse subito per tutta la regione intorno alla Galilea. |
| 29 | En sortant de la synagogue, il vint aussitôt dans la maison de Simon et d'André, avec Jacques et Jean. | And straightway, when they were come out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. | Appena furono usciti dalla sinagoga, vennero nella casa di Simone e di Andrea, con Giacomo e Giovanni. |
| 30 | Or la belle-mère de Simon était au lit, ayant la fièvre; aussitôt ils lui parlèrent d'elle. | Now Simon`s wife`s mother lay sick of a fever; and straightway they tell him of her: | Or la suocera di Simone giaceva a letto con la febbre ed essi subito gli parlarono di lei. |
| 31 | Il s'approcha et la fit lever, en lui prenant la main; et la fièvre la quitta, et elle se mit à les servir. | and he came and took her by the hand, and raised her up; and the fever left her, and she ministered unto them. | Allora egli si avvicinò, la prese per la mano e l'alzò, e immediatamente la febbre la lasciò ed essa si mise a servirli. |
| 32 | Le soir venu, après le coucher du soleil, on lui amenait tous les malades et les démoniaques; | And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were sick, and them that were possessed with demons. | Poi, fattosi sera, dopo il tramonto del sole, gli portarono tutti i malati e gli indemoniati. |
| 33 | et toute la ville était rassemblée devant la porte. | And all the city was gathered together at the door. | E tutta la città era affollata davanti alla porta. |
| 34 | Et il guérit beaucoup de malades affligés de diverses infirmités, et il chassa beaucoup de démons; mais il ne laissait pas les démons parler, parce qu'ils le connaissaient. | And he healed many that were sick with divers diseases, and cast out many demons; and he suffered not the demons to speak, because they knew him. | Egli ne guarì molti, colpiti da varie malattie, e scacciò molti demoni, e non permetteva ai demoni di parlare perché sapevano chi egli fosse. |
| 35 | Le matin, s'étant levé longtemps avant le jour, il sortit, s'en alla dans un lieu désert, et là il priait. | And in the morning, a great while before day, he rose up and went out, and departed into a desert place, and there prayed. | Poi il mattino seguente, essendo ancora molto buio, Gesù si alzò, uscì e se ne andò in un luogo solitario e là pregava. |
| 36 | Simon et ceux qui étaient avec lui se mirent à sa recherche; | And Simon and they that were with him followed after him; | E Simone e quelli che erano con lui lo cercarono. |
| 37 | et l'ayant trouvé, ils lui dirent : "Tout le monde vous cherche." | and they found him, and say unto him, All are seeking thee. | E, trovatolo, gli dissero: Tutti ti cercano!. |
| 38 | Il leur dit : "Allons ailleurs dans les bourgs voisins, afin que j'y prêche aussi; car c'est pour cela que je suis sorti." | And he saith unto them, Let us go elsewhere into the next towns, that I may preach there also; for to this end came I forth. | Ed egli disse loro: Andiamo nei villaggi vicini affinché io predichi anche là, perché è per questo che io sono venuto. |
| 39 | Et il alla, prêchant dans leurs synagogues, par la Galilée entière, et chassant les démons. | And he went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out demons. | Ed egli andò predicando nelle loro sinagoghe per tutta la Galilea e scacciando demoni. |
| 40 | Un lépreux vient à lui, le supplie, fléchit le genou et lui dit : "Si vous voulez, vous pouvez me guérir." | And there cometh to him a leper, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. | E venne da lui un lebbroso il quale, supplicandolo, cadde in ginocchio davanti a lui, e gli disse: Se vuoi, tu puoi mondarmi. |
| 41 | Emu de compassion, il étendit la main, le toucha et lui dit : "Je le veux, sois guéri." | And being moved with compassion, he stretched forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou made clean. | E Gesù, mosso a pietà, stese la mano, lo toccò e gli disse: Sì, lo voglio, sii mondato!. |
| 42 | Et aussitôt la lèpre le quitta, et il fut guéri. | And straightway the leprosy departed from him, and he was made clean. | E, come ebbe detto questo, subito la lebbra lo lasciò e fu guarito. |
| 43 | Et lui parlant sévèrement, il le fit partir aussitôt, | And he strictly charged him, and straightway sent him out, | Poi, dopo averlo severamente ammonito, lo mandò via subito, |
| 44 | lui disant : "Garde-toi d'en parler à personne; mais va te montrer au prêtre, et offre pour ta guérison ce que Moïse a prescrit, en attestation pour eux." | and saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing the things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. | dicendogli: Guardati dal farne parola ad alcuno, ma va mostrati al sacerdote e offri per la tua purificazione quanto ha prescritto Mosè, come testimonianza per loro. |
| 45 | Mais lui, étant parti, se mit à faire force discours et à divulguer la chose : de sorte que (Jésus) ne pouvait plus entrer ostensiblement dans une ville, mais se tenait dehors, dans des lieux déserts, et l'on venait à lui de toutes parts. | But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to spread abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into a city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter. | Ma egli, andandosene, cominciò a proclamare e a divulgare grandemente il fatto, al punto che Gesù non poteva più entrare pubblicamente in città, ma se ne stava fuori in luoghi solitari; e da ogni parte venivano a lui. |
