Et s'étant levé, il se tint là. | But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man that had his hand withered, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth. | Ma egli conosceva i loro pensieri e disse all'uomo dalla mano secca: Alzati e mettiti qui nel mezzo. Ed egli si alzò in piedi. |
| 9 | Jésus donc leur dit: Je vous demanderai s'il est permis, le jour de sabbat, de faire du bien ou de faire du mal, de sauver la vie ou de la perdre? | And Jesus said unto them, I ask you, Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to destroy it? | Quindi Gesù disse loro: Io vi domando: E' lecito, nei giorni di sabato fare del bene o del male, salvare una persona o ucciderla?. |

| 17 | -et étant descendu avec eux, il s'arrêta dans un lieu uni, ainsi que la foule de ses disciples et une grande multitude de peuple de toute la Judée et de Jérusalem, et de la contrée maritime de Tyr et de Sidon, qui étaient venus pour l'entendre et pour êtr | and he came down with them, and stood on a level place, and a great multitude of his disciples, and a great number of the people from all Judaea and Jerusalem, and the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; | Poi, sceso con loro, si fermò in un luogo pianeggiante, con la folla dei suoi discepoli e con un gran numero di popolo da tutta la Giudea, da Gerusalemme e dal litorale di Tiro e di Sidone, che erano venuti per udirlo e per essere guariti dalle loro malattie; |
| 18 | ceux aussi qui étaient tourmentés par des esprits immondes furent guéris; | and they that were troubled with unclean spirits were healed. | e anche quelli che erano tormentati da spiriti immondi erano guariti. |
| 19 | et toute la foule cherchait à le toucher, car il sortait de lui de la puissance, et elle les guérissait tous. | And all the multitude sought to touch him; for power came forth from him, and healed [them] all. | E tutta la folla cercava di toccarlo, perché da lui usciva una potenza che guariva tutti. |
| 20 | Et lui, élevant les yeux vers ses disciples, dit: Bienheureux, vous pauvres, car à vous est le royaume de Dieu; | And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed [are] ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. | Quindi egli, alzati gli occhi verso i suoi discepoli, diceva: Beati voi, poveri perché vostro è il regno di Dio. |

| 22 | Vous êtes bienheureux quand les hommes vous haïront, et quand ils vous retrancheront de leur société, et qu'ils vous insulteront et rejetteront votre nom comme mauvais, à cause du fils de l'homme. | Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you [from their company], and reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man`s sake. | Beati voi, quando gli uomini vi odieranno, vi scomunicheranno e vitupereranno, e bandiranno il vostro nome come malvagio, a causa del Figlio dell'uomo. |
| 23 | Réjouissez-vous en ce jour-là et tressaillez de joie, car voici, votre récompense est grande dans le ciel, car leurs pères en ont fait de même aux prophètes. | Rejoice in that day, and leap [for joy]: for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for in the same manner did their fathers unto the prophets. | Rallegratevi in quel giorno e saltate di gioia, perché ecco, il vostro premio è grande in cielo, nello stesso modo infatti i loro padri trattavano i profeti. |

| 29 | A celui qui te frappe sur une joue, présente aussi l'autre; et si quelqu'un t'ôte ton manteau, ne l'empêche pas de prendre aussi ta tunique. | To him that smiteth thee on the [one] cheek offer also the other; and from him that taketh away thy cloak withhold not thy coat also. | Se qualcuno ti percuote su una guancia, porgigli anche l'altra; e a chi ti toglie il mantello, non impedire di prenderti anche la tunica. |
| 30 | à tout homme qui te demande, et à celui qui t'ôte ce qui t'appartient, ne le redemande pas. | Give to every one that asketh thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. | Da' a chiunque ti chiede; e se qualcuno ti toglie il tuo, non glielo ridomandare. |
| 31 | Et comme vous voulez que les hommes vous fassent, vous aussi faites-leur de même. | And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. | Ma come volete che gli uomini facciano a voi, così fate a loro. |
| 32 | Et si vous aimez ceux qui vous aiment, quel gré vous en saura-t-on? car les pécheurs aussi aiment ceux qui les aiment. | And if ye love them that love you, what thank have ye? for even sinners love those that love them. | Ma se amate coloro che vi amano, che merito ne avrete? Poiché anche i peccatori amano coloro che li amano. |
| 33 | Et si vous faites du bien à ceux qui vous font du bien, quel gré vous en saura-t-on car les pécheurs aussi en font autant. | And if ye do good to them that do good to you, what thank have ye? for even sinners do the same. | E se fate del bene a coloro che vi fanno del bene, che merito ne avrete? Poiché i peccatori fanno lo stesso. |
| 34 | Et si vous prêtez à ceux de qui vous espérez recevoir, quel gré vous en saura-t-on? car les pécheurs aussi prêtent aux pécheurs, afin qu'ils reçoivent la pareille. | And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? even sinners lend to sinners, to receive again as much. | E se prestate a coloro dai quali sperate di riavere, che merito ne avrete? Anche i peccatori prestano ai peccatori, per riceverne altrettanto. |
| 35 | Mais aimez vos ennemis, et faites du bien, et prêtez sans en rien espérer; et votre récompense sera grande, et vous serez les fils du Très-haut; car il est bon envers les ingrats et les méchants. | But love your enemies, and do [them] good, and lend, never despairing; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Most High: for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil. | Ma amate i vostri nemici, fate del bene e prestate senza sperarne nulla, e il vostro premio sarà grande e sarete i figli dell'Altissimo, perché egli è benigno verso gli ingrati e i malvagi. |

| 37 | et ne jugez pas, et vous ne serez point jugés; ne condamnez pas, et vous ne serez point condamnés; acquittez, et vous serez acquittés; | And judge not, and ye shall not be judged: and condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: release, and ye shall be released: | Non giudicate e non sarete giudicati; non condannate e non sarete condannati; perdonate e vi sarà perdonato. |
| 38 | donnez, et il vous sera donné: on vous donnera dans le sein bonne mesure, pressée et secouée, et qui débordera; car de la même mesure dont vous mesurerez, on vous mesurera en retour. | give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall they give into your bosom. For with what measure ye mete it shall be measured to you again. | Date e vi sarà dato: una buona misura, pigiata, scossa e traboccante vi sarà versata in seno, perché con la misura con cui misurate, sarà altresì misurato a voi. |
| 39 | Et il leur disait aussi une parabole: un aveugle peut-il conduire un aveugle? ne tomberont-ils pas tous deux dans la fosse? | And he spake also a parable unto them, Can the blind guide the blind? shall they not both fall into a pit? | Poi egli disse loro una parabola: Può un cieco far da guida a un altro cieco? Non cadranno tutti e due nella fossa? |
| 40 | Le disciple n'est pas au-dessus de son maître, mais tout homme accompli sera comme son maître. | The disciple is not above his teacher: but every one when he is perfected shall be as his teacher. | Nessun discepolo è da più del suo maestro, anzi ogni discepolo ben addestrato sarà come il suo maestro. |
| 41 | Et pourquoi regardes-tu le fétu qui est dans l'oeil de ton frère, et tu ne t'aperçois pas de la poutre qui est dans ton propre oeil? | And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother`s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? | Ora, perché guardi la pagliuzza che e nell'occhio di tuo fratello e non scorgi la trave che è nel tuo proprio occhio? |
| 42 | Ou comment peux-tu dire à ton frère: Frère, permets, j'ôterai le fétu qui est dans ton oeil, toi qui ne vois pas la poutre qui est dans ton oeil? Hypocrite, ôte premièrement la poutre de ton oeil, et alors tu verras clair pour ôter le fétu qui est dans l'oeil de ton frère. | Or how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me cast out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote that is in thy brother`s eye. | O come puoi dire al tuo fratello: "Fratello, lascia che tolga la pagliuzza che è nel tuo occhio", quando tu stesso non vedi la trave che è nel tuo proprio occhio? Ipocrita, togli prima la trave dal tuo occhio e allora potrai vedere bene per togliere la pagliuzza dall'occhio di tuo fratello. |
| 43 | Car il n'y a pas de bon arbre qui produise de mauvais fruit, ni d'arbre mauvais qui produise de bon fruit; | For there is no good tree that bringeth forth corrupt fruit; nor again a corrupt tree that bringeth forth good fruit. | Poiché non c'è albero buono che faccia frutto cattivo, né albero cattivo che faccia frutto buono. |
| 44 | car chaque arbre se connaît à son propre fruit, car on ne récolte pas des figues sur des épines, ni ne cueille du raisin sur un buisson. | For each tree is known by its own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. | Ogni albero infatti lo si riconosce dal proprio frutto, perché non si raccolgono fichi dalle spine e non si vendemmia uva da un rovo. |
| 45 | L'homme bon, du bon trésor de son coeur produit ce qui est bon, et l'homme mauvais, du mauvais produit ce qui est mauvais: car de l'abondance du coeur sa bouche parle. | The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and the evil [man] out of the evil [treasure] bringeth forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. | L'uomo buono dal buon tesoro del suo cuore trae il bene; e l'uomo malvagio dal malvagio tesoro del suo cuore trae il male, perché la bocca di uno parla dall'abbondanza del cuore. |
| 46 | Et pourquoi m'appelez-vous: Seigneur, Seigneur, et ne faites-vous pas ce que je dis? | And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? | Ora, perché mi chiamate, Signore, Signore, e non fate quello che dico? |
| 47 | Je vous montrerai à qui est semblable tout homme qui vient à moi, et qui entend mes paroles et les met en pratique: | Every one that cometh unto me, and heareth my words, and doeth them, I will show you to whom he is like: | Chiunque viene a me, e ode le mie parole e le mette in pratica, io vi mostrerò a chi e simile. |
| 48 | il est semblable à un homme qui bâtit une maison, qui a foui et creusé profondément, et a mis un fondement sur le roc: mais une inondation étant survenue, le fleuve s'est jeté avec violence contre cette maison, et il n'a pu l'ébranler, car elle avait été fondée sur le roc. | he is like a man building a house, who digged and went deep, and laid a foundation upon the rock: and when a flood arose, the stream brake against that house, and could not shake it: because it had been well builded. | Egli è simile ad un uomo che, costruendo una casa, ha scavato molto profondo e ha posto il fondamento sopra la roccia, e venuta una piena, il torrente ha investito quella casa, ma non l'ha potuta scrollare perché era stata fondata sulla roccia. |
| 49 | Mais celui qui a entendu et n'a pas mis en pratique, est semblable à un homme qui a bâti une maison sur la terre, sans fondement; et le fleuve s'est jeté avec violence contre elle, et aussitôt elle est tombée; et la ruine de cette maison a été grande. | But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation; against which the stream brake, and straightway it fell in; and the ruin of that house was great. | Chi invece le ha udite e non le ha messe in pratica, è simile a un uomo che ha edificato una casa sopra la terra senza fondamento; quando il torrente l'ha investita, essa è subito caduta, e la sua rovina è stata grande. |
