| 4 | Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. | Et quand il eut cessé de parler, il dit à Simon: Avance en pleine eau, et jetez vos filets pour pêcher. | E, quando ebbe finito di parlare, disse a Simone: Prendi il largo, e calate le vostre reti per pescare. |

| 7 | And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. | 9 | For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: | Car la frayeur l'avait saisi, et tous ceux qui étaient avec lui, à cause de la pêche des poissons qu'ils avaient faite; de même que Jacques et Jean, fils de Zébédée, qui étaient compagnons de Simon. | Infatti Pietro e tutti quelli che erano con lui furono presi da grande stupore, per la quantità di pesci che avevano preso. |
| 10 | And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. | Et Jésus dit à Simon: N'aie point de peur; désormais tu seras pêcheur d'hommes vivants. | Lo stesso avvenne pure a Giacomo e a Giovanni, figli di Zebedeo, che erano compagni di Simone. Allora Gesù disse a Simone: Non temere; da ora in avanti tu sarai pescatore di uomini vivi. |
| 11 | And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him. | Et ayant ramené leurs barques à bord, ils abandonnèrent tout et le suivirent. | Essi quindi, tirate in secco le barche, lasciarono ogni cosa e lo seguirono. |
| 12 | And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. | Comme il était dans une des villes de la Galilée, un homme tout couvert de lèpre, ayant vu Jésus, se jeta la face contre terre, et le pria, disant: Seigneur, si tu le veux, tu peux me nettoyer. | Or avvenne che, mentre egli si trovava in una di quelle città, ecco un uomo tutto coperto di lebbra che, veduto Gesù, si prostrò con la faccia a terra e lo pregò, dicendo: Signore, se tu vuoi, tu puoi mondarmi. |
| 13 | And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. | Et Jésus étendit la main, le toucha et lui dit: Je le veux, sois nettoyé. Et au même instant la lèpre le quitta. | Allora egli, distesa la mano, lo toccò dicendo: Sì, lo voglio, sii mondato. E subito la lebbra lo lasciò. |
| 14 | And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. | Et Jésus lui défendit de le dire à personne; mais va, lui dit-il, montre-toi au sacrificateur, et offre pour ta purification ce que Moïse a commandé, afin que cela leur serve de témoignage. | E Gesù gli comandò: Non dirlo a nessuno; ma va mostrati al sacerdote e fa' un'offerta per la tua purificazione, come ha prescritto Mosè, affinché ciò serva loro di testimonianza. |
| 15 | But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. | Et sa réputation se répandait de plus en plus, et une foule de gens s'assemblaient pour l'entendre et pour être guéris par lui de leurs maladies. | E la sua fama si diffondeva sempre più; e grandi folle si radunavano per udirlo e per essere da lui guarite dalle loro infermità. |
| 16 | And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. | Mais il se tenait retiré dans les déserts, et il priait. | Ma egli si ritirava in luoghi solitari e pregava. |
| 17 | And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. | Or, un jour qu'il enseignait, et que des pharisiens et des docteurs de la loi, qui étaient venus de tous les bourgs de la Galilée et de la Judée, et de Jérusalem, étaient là assis, la puissance du Seigneur agissait pour guérir les malades. | Or un giorno avvenne che, mentre egli insegnava, erano presenti, seduti, dei farisei e dei dottori della legge, i quali erano venuti da tutti i villaggi della Galilea, della Giudea e da Gerusalemme; e la potenza del Signore era con lui, per compiere guarigioni. |
| 18 | And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. | Alors il survint des gens qui portaient sur un lit un homme perclus, et ils cherchaient à le faire entrer dans la maison et à le mettre devant Jésus. | Ed ecco, alcuni uomini portavano sopra un letto un uomo paralitico e cercavano di portarlo dentro e di metterlo davanti a lui. |
| 19 | And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. | Et ne sachant par où le faire entrer à cause de la foule, ils montèrent sur la maison, et le descendirent par les tuiles avec son lit, au milieu de la foule, | Ma, non riuscendo ad introdurlo a causa della folla, salirono sul tetto della casa e lo calarono attraverso le tegole con il lettuccio, proprio in mezzo, davanti a Gesù. |
| 20 | And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee. | Devant Jésus, qui, ayant vu leur foi, lui dit: O homme, tes péchés te sont pardonnés. | Ed egli, veduta la loro fede, disse a quello: Uomo, i tuoi peccati ti sono perdonati. |
| 21 | And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? | Alors les scribes et les pharisiens commencèrent à raisonner et à dire: Qui est celui-ci, qui prononce des blasphèmes? Qui peut pardonner les péchés, que Dieu seul? | Allora gli scribi e i farisei cominciarono a ragionare, dicendo: Chi è costui che pronunzia bestemmie? Chi può togliere i peccati se non Dio solo?. |
| 22 | But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? | Mais Jésus, connaissant leurs pensées, prit la parole et leur dit: Quel raisonnement faites-vous dans vos coeurs? | Ma Gesù conosciuti i loro pensieri, prese la parola e disse loro: Che ragionate nei vostri cuori? |
| 23 | Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? | Lequel est le plus aisé, de dire: Tes péchés te sont pardonnés; ou de dire: Lève-toi, et marche? | Che cosa è più facile dire: "I tuoi peccati ti sono perdonati" oppure dire: "Alzati e cammina" |
| 24 | But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. | Or, afin que vous sachiez que le Fils de l'homme a sur la terre le pouvoir de pardonner les péchés: Lève-toi, dit-il au paralytique, je te le dis, emporte ton lit, et t'en va dans ta maison. | Ora, affinché sappiate che il Figlio dell'uomo ha autorità sulla terra di perdonare i peccati, io ti dico, (disse al paralitico), alzati, prendi il tuo lettuccio e va' a casa tua. |
| 25 | And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. | Et à l'instant il se leva en leur présence; il emporta le lit sur lequel il avait été couché, et s'en alla dans sa maison, donnant gloire à Dieu. | E subito quell'uomo si alzò davanti a loro, prese il lettuccio su cui era disteso e se ne andò a casa sua, glorificando Dio. |
| 26 | And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day. | Et ils furent tous saisis d'étonnement, et ils glorifiaient Dieu; ils furent remplis de crainte, et ils disaient: Nous avons vu aujourd'hui des choses étranges. | E tutti furono presi da stupore e glorificavano Dio. E, pieni di paura, dicevano: Oggi abbiamo visto delle cose sorprendenti. |
| 27 | And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. | Après cela il sortit, et il vit un péager nommé Lévi, assis au bureau des impôts; | E, dopo queste cose, egli uscì e vide un pubblicano di nome Levi che sedeva al banco delle imposte, e gli disse: Seguimi. |
| 28 | And he left all, rose up, and followed him. | Et il lui dit: Suis-moi. Et lui, quittant tout, se leva et le suivit. | Ed egli, lasciata ogni cosa, si alzò e lo seguì. |
| 29 | And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them. | Et Lévi lui fit un grand festin dans sa maison, et un grand nombre de péagers et d'autres gens étaient à table avec eux. | Poi Levi gli preparò un gran banchetto in casa sua, e una grande folla di pubblicani e di altri erano a tavola con loro. |
| 30 | But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? | Et ceux d'entre eux qui étaient scribes et pharisiens murmuraient et disaient à ses disciples: Pourquoi mangez-vous et buvez-vous avec des péagers et des gens de mauvaise vie? | Ma gli scribi e i farisei di quel luogo mormoravano contro i discepoli di Gesù, dicendo: Perché mangiate e bevete con i pubblicani e i peccatori?. |
| 31 | And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. | Et Jésus, prenant la parole, leur dit: Ce ne sont pas ceux qui sont en santé qui ont besoin de médecin; | E Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: Non sono i sani che hanno bisogno del medico, ma i malati. |
| 32 | I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. | Mais ceux qui se portent mal. Je suis venu appeler à la repentance, non les justes, mais les pécheurs. | IO non sono venuto a chiamare a ravvedimento i giusti, ma i peccatori. |
| 33 | And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink? | Ils lui dirent aussi: Pourquoi les disciples de Jean jeûnent-ils souvent et font-ils des prières, de même que ceux des pharisiens; au lieu que les tiens mangent et boivent? | Allora essi gli dissero: Perché i discepoli di Giovanni e anche quelli dei farisei digiunano spesso e fanno preghiere, mentre i tuoi mangiano e bevono?. |
| 34 | And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? | Il leur dit: Pouvez-vous faire jeûner les amis de l'époux, pendant que l'époux est avec eux? | Ed egli disse loro: Potete voi far digiunare gli intimi amici dello sposo, mentre lo sposo è con loro? |
| 35 | But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. | Mais des jours viendront où l'époux leur sera ôté; alors ils jeûneront en ces jours. | Ma verranno i giorni in cui lo sposo sarà loro tolto e allora, in quei giorni, digiuneranno. |
| 36 | And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. | Il leur dit aussi une parabole: Personne ne met une pièce d'un habit neuf à un vieil habit; autrement, le neuf déchire le vieux, et la pièce prise du neuf ne s'accorde pas avec le vieux. | Inoltre disse loro una parabola: Nessuno cuce un pezzo di un vestito nuovo sopra un vestito vecchio; altrimenti si trova con il nuovo strappato, e il pezzo tolto dal nuovo non si adatta al vecchio. |
| 37 | And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. | Personne non plus ne met le vin nouveau dans de vieux vaisseaux; autrement le vin nouveau romprait les vaisseaux, et se répandrait, et les vaisseaux seraient perdus. | E nessuno mette vino nuovo in otri vecchi; altrimenti il vino nuovo rompe gli otri, ed esso si spande e gli otri vanno perduti. |
| 38 | But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. | Mais le vin nouveau se met dans des vaisseaux neufs, et les deux se conservent ensemble. | Ma bisogna mettere il vino nuovo in otri nuovi, così tutti e due si conservano. |
| 39 | No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better. | Et il n'y a personne qui, buvant du vin vieux, en veuille aussitôt du nouveau; car, dit-il, le vieux est meilleur. | Nessuno poi, avendo bevuto del vino vecchio, ne vuole subito del nuovo, perché egli dice: "Il vecchio è migliore". |
