7	Le jour des pains sans levain, où l'on devait immoler la Pâque, arriva,	Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.	Vint le jour des Azymes, où l'on devait sacrifier la pâque.	And the day of unleavened bread came, on which the passover must be sacrificed.
8	et Jésus envoya Pierre et Jean, en disant : Allez nous préparer la Pâque, afin que nous la mangions.	And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.	Il envoya Pierre et Jean, disant : "Allez nous faire les préparatifs de la pâque pour que nous la mangions." 9	Ils lui dirent : Où veux-tu que nous la préparions ?	And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?	Ils lui dirent : "Où voulez-vous que nous fassions les préparatifs ?"	And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we make ready?
10	Il leur répondit : Voici, quand vous serez entrés dans la ville, vous rencontrerez un homme portant une cruche d'eau ; suivez-le dans la maison où il entrera,	And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. 11	et vous direz au maître de la maison : Le maître te dit : Où est le lieu où je mangerai la Pâque avec mes disciples ?	And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?	et vous direz au maître de la maison : "Le Maître te fait dire : Où est la salle, où je pourrai manger la pâque avec mes disciples ?"	And ye shall say unto the master of the house, The Teacher saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
12	Et il vous montrera une grande chambre haute, meublée : c'est là que vous préparerez la Pâque.	And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. 13	Ils partirent, et trouvèrent les choses comme il le leur avait dit ; et ils préparèrent la Pâque.	And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. 14	L'heure étant venue, il se mit à table, et les apôtres avec lui.	And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.	Quand l'heure fut venue, il se mit à table et les apôtres avec lui;	And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the apostles with him.
15	Il leur dit : J'ai désiré vivement manger cette Pâque avec vous, avant de souffrir ;	And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:	et il leur dit : "J'ai ardemment désiré manger cette pâque avec vous avant de souffrir.	And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16	car, je vous le dis, je ne la mangerai plus, jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit accomplie dans le royaume de Dieu.	For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.	Car, je vous le dis, je ne la mangerai plus jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit accomplie dans le royaume de Dieu."	for I say unto you, I shall not eat it, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17	Et, ayant pris une coupe et rendu grâces, il dit : Prenez cette coupe, et distribuez-la entre vous ;	And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:	Et, prenant une coupe, il rendit grâces et dit : "Prenez-la et partagez entre vous.	And he received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18	car, je vous le dis, je ne boirai plus désormais du fruit de la vigne, jusqu'à ce que le royaume de Dieu soit venu.	For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.	Car, je vous le dis, je ne boirai plus désormais du produit de la vigne, jusqu'à ce que le royaume de Dieu soit venu."	for I say unto you, I shall not drink from henceforth of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19	Ensuite il prit du pain ; et, après avoir rendu grâces, il le rompit, et le leur donna, en disant : Ceci est mon corps, qui est donné pour vous ; faites ceci en mémoire de moi.	And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.	Et il prit du pain, et, après avoir rendu grâces, il le rompit et le leur donna, en disant : "Ceci est mon corps, donné pour vous. Faites ceci en mémoire de moi."	And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20	Il prit de même la coupe, après le souper, et la leur donna, en disant : Cette coupe est la nouvelle alliance en mon sang, qui est répandu pour vous.	Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.	Et pareillement (pour) la coupe, après qu'ils eurent soupé, en disant : Cette coupe est la nouvelle alliance en mon sang, répandu pour vous.	And the cup in like manner after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, [even] that which is poured out for you.
21	Cependant voici, la main de celui qui me livre est avec moi à cette table.	But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.	Cependant voici que la main de celui qui me trahit est avec moi sur la table.	But behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
22	Le Fils de l'homme s'en va selon ce qui est déterminé. Mais malheur à l'homme par qui il est livré !	And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!	Car le Fils de l'homme s'en va selon ce qui est décrété; mais malheur à l'homme par qui il est trahi !	For the Son of man indeed goeth, as it hath been determined: but woe unto that man through whom he is betrayed!
23	Et ils commencèrent à se demander les uns aux autres qui était celui d'entre eux qui ferait cela.	And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.	Et ils se mirent à se demander entre eux qui pouvait bien être celui d'entre eux qui allait faire cela.	And they began to question among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
24	Il s'éleva aussi parmi les apôtres une contestation : lequel d'entre eux devait être estimé le plus grand ?	And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.	Il y eut aussi parmi eux une dispute : lequel d'entre eux devait passer pour le plus grand.	And there arose also a contention among them, which of them was accounted to be greatest.
25	Jésus leur dit : Les rois des nations les maîtrisent, et ceux qui les dominent sont appelés bienfaiteurs.	And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.	Et il leur dit : "Les rois des nations leur commandent en maîtres, et ceux qui exercent empire sur elles se font appeler Bienfaiteurs.	And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles have lordship over them; and they that have authority over them are called Benefactors.
26	Qu'il n'en soit pas de même pour vous. Mais que le plus grand parmi vous soit comme le plus petit, et celui qui gouverne comme celui qui sert.	But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.	Vous, (ne faites) pas ainsi; mais que le plus grand parmi vous devienne comme le plus jeune, et celui qui gouverne comme celui qui sert.	But ye [shall] not [be] so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
27	Car quel est le plus grand, celui qui est à table, ou celui qui sert ? N'est-ce pas celui qui est à table ? Et moi, cependant, je suis au milieu de vous comme celui qui sert.	For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.	Qui, en effet, est le plus grand, celui qui est à table ou celui qui sert ? N'est-ce pas celui qui est à table ? Or moi, au milieu de vous, je suis comme celui qui sert.	For which is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am in the midst of you as he that serveth.
28	Vous, vous êtes ceux qui avez persévéré avec moi dans mes épreuves ;	Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.	Vous, vous êtes ceux qui sont demeurés constamment avec moi dans mes épreuves;	But ye are they that have continued with me in my temptations;
29	c'est pourquoi je dispose du royaume en votre faveur, comme mon Père en a disposé en ma faveur,	And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;	et moi, je vous attribue la royauté comme mon Père me l'a attribuée,	and I appoint unto you a kingdom, even as my Father appointed unto me,
30	afin que vous mangiez et buviez à ma table dans mon royaume, et que vous soyez assis sur des trônes, pour juger les douze tribus d'Israël.	That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.	afin que vous mangiez et buviez à ma table dans mon royaume; et vous siégerez sur des trônes, jugeant les douze tribus d'Israël.	that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and ye shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31	Le Seigneur dit : Simon, Simon, Satan vous a réclamés, pour vous cribler comme le froment.	And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:	Simon, Simon, voici que Satan vous a réclamés pour vous passer au crible comme le froment.	Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat:
32	Mais j'ai prié pour toi, afin que ta foi ne défaille point ; et toi, quand tu seras converti, affermis tes frères.	But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.	Mais moi, j'ai prié pour toi, afin que ta foi ne défaille point; et toi, quand tu seras revenu, affermis tes frères."	but I made supplication for thee, that thy faith fail not; and do thou, when once thou hast turned again, establish thy brethren.
33	Seigneur, lui dit Pierre, je suis prêt à aller avec toi et en prison et à la mort.	And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.	Il lui dit : "Seigneur, je suis prêt à aller avec vous et en prison et à la mort."	And he said unto him, Lord, with thee I am ready to go both to prison and to death.
34	Et Jésus dit : Pierre, je te le dis, le coq ne chantera pas aujourd'hui que tu n'aies nié trois fois de me connaître.	And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.	Mais il dit : "Je te le dis, Pierre, le coq ne chantera pas aujourd'hui que tu n'aies trois fois nié me connaître."	And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, until thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
35	Il leur dit encore : Quand je vous ai envoyés sans bourse, sans sac, et sans souliers, avez-vous manqué de quelque chose ? Ils répondirent : De rien.	And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.	Et il leur dit : "Quand je vous ai envoyés sans bourse, ni besace, ni sandales, avez-vous manqué de quelque chose ?"Ils dirent : "De rien."	And he said unto them, When I sent you forth without purse, and wallet, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing.
36	Et il leur dit : Maintenant, au contraire, que celui qui a une bourse la prenne et que celui qui a un sac le prenne également, que celui qui n'a point d'épée vende son vêtement et achète une épée.	Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.	Il leur dit : "Mais maintenant, que celui qui a une bourse la prenne, et de même la besace; et que celui qui n'a pas de glaive vende son manteau et en achète un.	And he said unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet; and he that hath none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.
37	Car, je vous le dis, il faut que cette parole qui est écrite s'accomplisse en moi : Il a été mis au nombre des malfaiteurs. Et ce qui me concerne est sur le point d'arriver.	For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.	Car, je vous le dis, il faut encore que cette Ecriture s'accomplisse en moi : Et il a été compté parmi les malfaiteurs. Aussi bien, ce qui me concerne touche à sa fin."	For I say unto you, that this which is written must be fulfilled in me, And he was reckoned with transgressors: for that which concerneth me hath fulfilment.
38	Ils dirent : Seigneur, voici deux épées. Et il leur dit : Cela suffit.	And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.	Ils lui dirent : "Seigneur, voici ici deux glaives."Il leur dit : "C'est assez."	And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
39	Après être sorti, il alla, selon sa coutume, à la montagne des Oliviers. Ses disciples le suivirent.	And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.	Etant sorti, il s'en alla, comme de coutume, vers le mont des Oliviers; les disciples aussi l'accompagnèrent.	And he came out, and went, as his custom was, unto the mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed him.
