| 7 | C'est pourquoi ils répondirent qu'ils ne savaient d'où il venait. | And they answered, that they knew not whence [it was]. | Risposero dunque che non sapevano da dove venisse. |
| 8 | Et Jésus leur dit: Je ne vous dirai pas non plus par quelle autorité je fais ces choses. | And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. | Allora Gesù disse loro: Neppure io vi dirò con quale autorità faccio queste cose. |
| 9 | Alors il se mit à dire au peuple cette parabole: Un homme planta une vigne, et la loua à des vignerons, et fut longtemps absent. | And he began to speak unto the people this parable: A man planted a vineyard, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country for a long time. | Poi cominciò a raccontare al popolo questa parabola: Un uomo piantò una vigna, l'affidò a certi vignaioli e se ne andò lontano per lungo tempo. |
| 10 | Et la saison étant venue, il envoya un serviteur vers les vignerons, afin qu'ils lui donnassent du fruit de la vigne; mais les vignerons l'ayant battu, le renvoyèrent à vide. | And at the season he sent unto the husbandmen a servant, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty. | Al tempo del raccolto, mandò un servo da quei vignaioli perché gli dessero la sua parte del frutto della vigna; ma i vignaioli, battutolo, lo rimandarono a mani vuote. |
| 11 | Et il envoya encore un autre serviteur; mais l'ayant aussi battu et traité outrageusement, ils le renvoyèrent à vide. | And he sent yet another servant: and him also they beat, and handled him shamefully, and sent him away empty. | Egli mandò di nuovo un altro servo ma essi, dopo aver battuto e insultato anche questo, lo rimandarono a mani vuote. |
| 12 | Il en envoya encore un troisième, mais ils le blessèrent aussi, et le chassèrent. | And he sent yet a third: and him also they wounded, and cast him forth. | Egli ne mandò ancora un terzo, ma essi ferirono anche questo e lo cacciarono. |
| 13 | Le maître de la vigne dit alors: Que ferai-je? J'enverrai mon fils bien-aimé; peut-être qu'en le voyant ils le respecteront. | And the lord of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; it may be they will reverence him. | Allora il padrone della vigna disse: "Che devo fare? Manderò il mio amato figlio. Forse, vedendo lui, lo rispetteranno!". |
| 14 | Mais les vignerons l'ayant vu, raisonnèrent ainsi entre eux, disant: Celui-ci est l'héritier; venez, tuons-le, afin que l'héritage soit à nous. | But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned one with another, saying, This is the heir; let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. | Ma i vignaioli, quando lo videro, dissero tra di loro: "Costui è l'erede; venite, uccidiamolo affinché l'eredità diventi nostra". |
| 15 | Et l'ayant jeté hors de la vigne, ils le tuèrent. Que fera donc le maître de la vigne? | And they cast him forth out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do unto them? | Così cacciatolo fuori dalla vigna, lo uccisero. Che farà dunque a costoro il padrone della vigna? |
| 16 | Il viendra, et fera périr ces vignerons et il donnera la vigne à d'autres. Les Juifs ayant entendu cela, dirent: | He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. | Egli verrà, sterminerà quei vignaioli, e darà la vigna ad altri. Ma essi, udito ciò, dissero: Così non sia. |
| 17 | Qu'ainsi n'advienne! Alors Jésus les regardant, leur dit: Que veut donc dire ce qui est écrit: La pierre que ceux qui bâtissaient ont rejetée, est devenue la principale pierre de l'angle? | But he looked upon them, and said, What then is this that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner? | Allora egli, guardandoli in faccia, disse: Che cosa è dunque ciò che sta scritto: "La pietra che gli edificatori hanno rigettata è diventata la testata d'angolo"? |
| 18 | Quiconque tombera sur cette pierre sera brisé, et elle écrasera celui sur qui elle tombera. | Every one that falleth on that stone shall be broken to pieces; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust. | Chiunque cadrà su questo sasso si sfracellerà, e colui sul quale esso cadrà sarà stritolato. |
| 19 | Alors les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes cherchèrent à l'heure même à jeter les mains sur lui; car ils avaient reconnu qu'il avait dit cette parabole contre eux; mais ils craignirent le peuple. | And the scribes and the chief priests sought to lay hands on him in that very hour; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he spake this parable against them. | In quello stesso momento, i capi dei sacerdoti e gli scribi, cercarono di mettergli le mani addosso, perché avevano compreso che aveva raccontato quella parabola per loro, ma temettero il popolo. |
| 20 | C'est pourquoi, l'observant de près, ils apostèrent des gens qui contrefaisaient les gens de bien, pour le surprendre dans ses paroles, afin de le livrer au magistrat et au pouvoir du gouverneur. | And they watched him, and sent forth spies, who feigned themselves to be righteous, that they might take hold of his speech, so as to deliver him up to the rule and to the authority of the governor. | Essi lo osservavano attentamente e gli mandarono degli istigatori che, fingendosi giusti, lo sorprendessero in fallo in un suo discorso, per poi consegnarlo al potere e all'autorità del governatore. |
| 21 | Ces gens lui adressèrent cette question: Maître, nous savons que tu parles et enseignes avec droiture, et que, sans faire acception de personne, tu enseignes la voie de Dieu selon la vérité. | And they asked him, saying, Teacher, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, and acceptest not the person [of any], but of a truth teachest the way of God: | Costoro lo interrogarono, dicendo: Maestro, noi sappiamo che tu parli e insegni rettamente e che non usi alcuna parzialità ma insegni la via di Dio in verità. |
| 22 | Nous est-il permis de payer le tribut à César, ou non? | Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? | Ci è lecito pagare il tributo a Cesare o no?. |
| 23 | Mais Jésus comprenant leur artifice, leur dit: Pourquoi me tentez-vous? | But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, | Ma egli, accortosi della loro malizia, disse loro: Perché mi tentate? |
| 24 | Montrez-moi un denier. De qui a-t-il l'image et l'inscription? Ils répondirent: De César. | Show me a denarius. Whose image and superscription hath it? And they said, Caesar`s. | Mostratemi un denaro: di chi è l'immagine e l'iscrizione che porta?. Ed essi, rispondendo, dissero: Di Cesare. |
| 25 | Et il leur dit: Rendez donc à César ce qui est à César, et à Dieu ce qui est à Dieu. | And he said unto them, Then render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar`s, and unto God the things that are God`s. | Allora egli disse loro: Rendete dunque a Cesare ciò che è di Cesare, e a Dio ciò che è di Dio. |
| 26 | Et ils ne purent le surprendre dans ses paroles devant le peuple; mais, s'étonnant de sa réponse, ils se turent. | And they were not able to take hold of the saying before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace. | E così non poterono coglierlo in fallo nel suo discorso davanti al popolo e, meravigliati della sua risposta, tacquero. |

| 28 | Maître, Moïse nous a prescrit, que si le frère de quelqu'un est mort ayant une femme et qu'il soit mort sans enfants, son frère prenne sa femme et suscite lignée à son frère. | and they asked him, saying, Teacher, Moses wrote unto us, that if a man`s brother die, having a wife, and he be childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. | dicendo: Maestro, Mosè ci ha scritto che se il fratello di qualcuno muore avendo moglie e muore senza figli, il suo fratello prenda la moglie e susciti una discendenza a suo fratello. |
| 29 | Or, il y avait sept frères. Le premier ayant épousé une femme, mourut sans enfants. | There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died childless; | Or vi furono sette fratelli; il primo prese moglie e morì senza lasciare figli. |
| 30 | Le second épousa sa femme, et mourut sans enfants. | and the second: | Il secondo la prese come moglie, e morì anch'egli senza lasciare figli. |
| 31 | Puis le troisième l'épousa aussi, et tous les sept de même; et ils moururent sans laisser d'enfants. | and the third took her; and likewise the seven also left no children, and died. | La prese poi il terzo; e così tutti e sette morirono senza lasciare figli. |
| 32 | Après eux tous la femme mourut aussi. | Afterward the woman also died. | Dopo tutti, morì anche la donna. |
| 33 | Duquel donc d'entre eux sera-t-elle femme à la résurrection? Car les sept l'ont épousée. | In the resurrection therefore whose wife of them shall she be? for the seven had her to wife. | Nella risurrezione, dunque, di chi sarà moglie? Poiché tutti e sette l'hanno avuta per moglie. |
| 34 | Jésus leur répondit: Les enfants de ce siècle se marient, et donnent en mariage. | And Jesus said unto them, The sons of this world marry, and are given in marriage: | E Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: I figli di questa età si sposano e si maritano |
| 35 | Mais ceux qui seront jugés dignes d'avoir part au siècle à venir et à la résurrection des morts, ne se marieront ni ne donneront en mariage. | but they that are accounted worthy to attain to that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: | ma coloro che sono ritenuti degni di ottenere l'altra età e la risurrezione dei morti, non si sposano né si maritano; |
| 36 | Car ils ne pourront non plus mourir, parce qu'ils seront semblables aux anges, et qu'ils seront enfants de Dieu, étant enfants de la résurrection. | for neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. | essi infatti non possono più morire, perché sono come gli angeli e sono figli di Dio, essendo figli della risurrezione. |
| 37 | Et, que les morts ressuscitent, c'est ce que montre aussi Moïse quand il nomme, au buisson ardent, le Seigneur, le Dieu d'Abraham, le Dieu d'Isaac et le Dieu de Jacob. | But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed, in [the place concerning] the Bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. | E che i morti risuscitino, lo ha dichiarato Mosè stesso nel passo del roveto, quando chiama Signore, il Dio di Abrahamo, il Dio di Isacco e il Dio di Giacobbe. |
| 38 | Or, Dieu n'est point le Dieu des morts, mais le Dieu des vivants; car tous vivent devant lui. | Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. | Or egli non è il Dio dei morti ma dei viventi, poiché tutti vivono per lui. |
| 39 | Et quelques-uns des scribes prenant la parole, dirent: Maître tu as bien parlé. | And certain of the scribes answering said, Teacher, thou hast well said. | Allora alcuni degli scribi presero la parola e dissero: Maestro, hai detto bene. |
| 40 | Et ils n'osaient plus lui faire aucune question. | For they durst not any more ask him any question. | E non ardirono più fargli alcuna domanda. |
| 41 | Alors il leur dit: Comment dit-on que le Christ est fils de David? | And he said unto them, How say they that the Christ is David`s son? | Ed egli disse loro: Come mai dicono che il Cristo è Figlio di Davide? |
| 42 | Et David lui-même dit dans le livre des Psaumes: Le Seigneur a dit à mon Seigneur: Assieds-toi à ma droite, | For David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, | Nel libro dei Salmi Davide stesso dice: "Il Signore ha detto al mio Signore: Siedi alla mia destra, |
| 43 | Jusqu'à ce que j'aie fait de tes ennemis le marchepied de tes pieds. | Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet. | finché io abbia posto i tuoi nemici come sgabello dei tuoi piedi". |
| 44 | Si donc David l'appelle Seigneur, comment est-il son fils? | David therefore calleth him Lord, and how is he his son? | Davide dunque lo chiama Signore come può essere suo figlio?. |

| 46 | Gardez-vous des scribes qui se plaisent à se promener en longues robes, et qui aiment les salutations dans les places, et les premiers sièges dans les synagogues, et les premières places dans les festins; | Beware of the scribes, who desire to walk in long robes, and love salutations in the marketplaces, and chief seats in the synagogues, and chief places at feasts; | Guardatevi dagli scribi, i quali passeggiano volentieri in lunghe vesti e amano i saluti nelle piazze, i primi seggi nelle sinagoghe e i primi posti nei conviti; |
| 47 | Qui dévorent les maisons des veuves, tout en affectant de faire de longues prières; ils encourront une plus grande condamnation. | who devour widows` houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater condemnation. | essi divorano le case delle vedove e fanno lunghe preghiere per farsi vedere. Essi riceveranno una più dura condanna. |
