| 7 | And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. | Et tous ceux qui virent cela murmuraient, disant qu'il était entré chez un homme de mauvaise vie pour y loger. | Vedendo ciò, tutti mormoravano, dicendo: Egli è andato ad alloggiare in casa di un uomo peccatore. |
| 8 | And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. | Et Zachée se présentant devant le Seigneur, lui dit: Seigneur, je donne la moitié de mes biens aux pauvres, et si j'ai fait tort à quelqu'un en quelque chose, je lui en rends quatre fois autant. | Ma Zaccheo si alzò e disse al Signore: Signore, io do la metà dei miei beni ai poveri e, se ho defraudato qualcuno di qualcosa, gli restituirò quattro volte tanto. |
| 9 | And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. | Et Jésus lui dit: Le salut est entré aujourd'hui dans cette maison, parce que celui-ci est aussi enfant d'Abraham. | E Gesù gli disse: Oggi la salvezza è entrata in questa casa, perché anche costui è figlio d'Abrahamo. |

| 12 | He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. | Il dit donc: Un homme de grande naissance s'en alla dans un pays éloigné pour prendre possession d'un royaume, et s'en revenir ensuite. | Disse dunque: Un uomo nobile andò in un paese lontano, per ricevere l'investitura di un regno e poi tornare. |
| 13 | And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. | Et ayant appelé dix de ses serviteurs, il leur donna dix marcs d'argent, et leur dit: Faites-les valoir jusqu'à ce que je revienne. | E, chiamati a sé dieci suoi servi, diede loro dieci mine, e disse loro: "Trafficate fino al mio ritorno". |
| 14 | But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. | Mais les gens de son pays le haïssaient; et ils envoyèrent une ambassade après lui, pour dire: Nous ne voulons pas que celui-ci règne sur nous. | Ma i suoi cittadini lo odiavano e gli mandarono dietro un'ambasciata, dicendo: "Non vogliamo che costui regni su di noi". |
| 15 | And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. | Il arriva donc, lorsqu'il fut de retour, après avoir pris possession du royaume, qu'il commanda qu'on fît venir ces serviteurs auxquels il avait donné l'argent, pour savoir combien chacun l'avait fait valoir. | Ora, quando fu di ritorno, dopo aver ricevuto l'investitura del regno fece chiamare quei servi ai quali aveva dato il denaro per sapere quanto ciascuno avesse guadagnato trafficando. |
| 16 | Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. | Et le premier se présenta et dit: Seigneur, ton marc a produit dix autres marcs. | Allora si fece avanti il primo e disse: "Signore, la tua mina ha fruttato altre dieci mine"; |
| 17 | And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. | Et il lui dit: C'est bien, bon serviteur, parce que tu as été fidèle en peu de choses, tu auras le gouvernement de dix villes. | ed egli disse: "Bene, servo buono poiché sei stato fedele in cosa minima, ricevi il governo su dieci città |
| 18 | And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. | Et le second vint et dit: Seigneur, ton marc a produit cinq autres marcs. | Venne poi il secondo, dicendo: "Signore, la tua mina ha fruttato altre cinque mine"; |
| 19 | And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities. | Et il dit aussi à celui-ci: Et toi, commande à cinq villes. | ed egli disse anche a costui: "Tu pure sii capo di cinque città". |
| 20 | And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: | Et un autre vint et dit: Seigneur, voici ton marc que j'ai gardé enveloppé dans un linge; | Venne poi un altro, che disse: "Signore, ecco la tua mina che ho tenuta riposta in un fazzoletto |
| 21 | For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. | Car je te craignais, parce que tu es un homme sévère, tu prends où tu n'as rien mis, et tu moissonnes où tu n'as point semé. | perché ho avuto paura di te, che sei un uomo severo; tu prendi ciò che non hai depositato e mieti ciò che non hai seminato". |
| 22 | And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: | Et son maître lui dit: Méchant serviteur, je te jugerai par tes propres paroles; tu savais que je suis un homme sévère, qui prends où je n'ai rien mis, et qui moissonne où je n'ai point semé; | E il suo signore gli disse: "Ti giudicherò dalle tue stesse parole, malvagio servo; tu sapevi che sono un uomo duro, che prendo ciò che non ho depositato e mieto ciò che non ho seminato; |
| 23 | Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? | Et pourquoi n'as-tu pas mis mon argent à la banque; et à mon retour, je l'eusse retiré avec les intérêts? | perché non hai depositato il mio denaro in banca; così, al mio ritorno, lo avrei riscosso con l'interesse?" |
| 24 | And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. | Et il dit à ceux qui étaient présents: Otez-lui le marc, et le donnez à celui qui a les dix marcs. | Disse poi ai presenti: "Toglietegli la mina e datela a colui che ha dieci mine". |

| 26 | For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. | Je vous dis qu'on donnera à quiconque a; mais à celui qui n'a pas, on ôtera même ce qu'il a. | "Poiché io vi dico che a chi ha sarà dato; ma a chi non ha sarà tolto anche quello che ha. |
| 27 | But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. | Quant à mes ennemis, qui n'ont pas voulu que je régnasse sur eux, amenez-les ici, et égorgez-les en ma présence. | Inoltre, conducete qui i miei nemici, che non hanno voluto che io regnassi su di loro e uccideteli alla mia presenza. |
| 28 | And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem. | Et après avoir dit cela, Jésus s'en alla plus avant, montant à Jérusalem. | Dopo aver detto queste cose, egli andava avanti salendo a Gerusalemme. |
| 29 | And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, | Jésus, étant arrivé près de Bethphagé et de Béthanie, vers la montagne appelée des Oliviers, il envoya deux de ses disciples, en disant: | E, come fu vicino a Betfage e a Betania, presso il monte detto degli Ulivi, mandò due dei suoi discepoli, |
| 30 | Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. | Allez à la bourgade qui est devant vous, et quand vous y serez entrés, vous trouverez un ânon attaché, que personne n'a jamais monté; détachez-le, et me l'amenez. | dicendo: Andate nel villaggio di fronte, entrando nel quale troverete un puledro di asino legato, su cui nessun uomo è mai salito; scioglietelo e conducetelo qui. |
| 31 | And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. | Et si quelqu'un vous demande pourquoi vous le détachez, vous lui direz: Parce que le Seigneur en a besoin. | E se qualcuno vi domanda perché lo sciogliete, direte loro così: "Il Signore ne ha bisogno". |
| 32 | And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. | Les envoyés s'en allèrent, et trouvèrent comme il leur avait dit. | E quelli che erano stati mandati andarono e trovarono come egli aveva loro detto. |
| 33 | And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? | Et comme ils détachaient l'ânon, ses maîtres leur dirent: Pourquoi détachez-vous cet ânon? | E, mentre scioglievano il puledro, i suoi padroni dissero loro: Perché sciogliete il puledro?. |
| 34 | And they said, The Lord hath need of him. | Et ils répondirent: Le Seigneur en a besoin. | Ed essi dissero: Il Signore ne ha bisogno. |
| 35 | And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. | Et ils l'amenèrent à Jésus; et ayant mis leurs vêtements sur l'ânon, ils firent monter Jésus dessus. | Lo condussero allora da Gesù e, gettate le loro vesti sopra il puledro, vi fecero montare Gesù. |
| 36 | And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. | Et comme il passait, plusieurs étendaient leurs vêtements par le chemin. | E, mentre egli avanzava, stendevano le loro vesti sulla strada. |
| 37 | And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; | Et comme il approchait de la descente de la montagne des Oliviers, toute la multitude des disciples, transportée de joie, se mit à louer Dieu à haute voix pour tous les miracles qu'ils avaient vus. | E, quando egli fu vicino alla discesa del monte degli Ulivi, tutta la folla dei discepoli iniziò con gioia a lodare Dio a gran voce per tutte le opere potenti che avevano visto, |
| 38 | Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. | Et ils disaient: Béni soit le Roi qui vient au nom du Seigneur! Paix dans le ciel, et gloire dans les lieux très hauts | dicendo: Benedetto il Re che viene nel nome del Signore; pace in cielo e gloria nei luoghi altissimi. |
| 39 | And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. | Alors quelques-uns des pharisiens de la foule lui dirent: Maître, reprends tes disciples. | E alcuni farisei fra la folla gli dissero: Maestro, sgrida i tuoi discepoli!. |
| 40 | And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. | Et il répondit et leur dit: Je vous dis que si ceux-ci se taisent, les pierres crieront. | Ed egli, rispondendo, disse loro: Io vi dico che se costoro tacessero, griderebbero le pietre. |
| 41 | And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, | Et quand il fut près de la ville, en la voyant, il pleura sur elle, et dit: | E come egli si avvicinava, vide la città e pianse a su di essa, |
| 42 | Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. | Oh! si tu avais connu toi aussi, du moins en ce jour qui t'est donné, les choses qui regardent ta paix! mais maintenant elles sont cachées à tes yeux. | dicendo: Oh, se tu, proprio tu, avessi riconosciuto almeno in questo tuo giorno le cose necessarie alla tua pace! Ma ora esse sono nascoste agli occhi tuoi. |
| 43 | For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, | Car des jours viendront sur toi, où tes ennemis t'environneront de tranchées, et t'entoureront et te serreront de toutes parts; | Poiché verranno sopra di te dei giorni in cui i tuoi nemici ti circonderanno di trincee, ti accerchieranno e ti assedieranno da ogni parte. |
| 44 | And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. | Et ils te détruiront toi et tes enfants au milieu de toi, et ils ne laisseront chez toi pierre sur pierre, parce que tu n'as point connu le temps où tu as été visitée. | E abbatteranno te e i tuoi figli dentro di te; e non lasceranno in te pietra su pietra perché tu non hai riconosciuto il tempo in cui sei stata visitata. |

| 46 | Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves. | Il est écrit: Ma maison est une maison de prières; mais vous en avez fait une caverne de voleurs. | dicendo loro: Sta scritto: "La mia casa è casa di preghiera, ma voi ne avete fatto un covo di ladroni". |
| 47 | And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him, | Et il enseignait tous les jours dans le temple.
