| 7 | Et voyant cela, tous murmuraient, disant qu'il était entré chez un pécheur pour y loger. | And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. | Vedendo ciò, tutti mormoravano, dicendo: Egli è andato ad alloggiare in casa di un uomo peccatore. |
| 8 | Et Zachée, se tenant là, dit au Seigneur: Voici, Seigneur, je donne la moitié de mes biens aux pauvres; et si j'ai fait tort à quelqu'un par une fausse accusation, je lui rends le quadruple. | And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. | Ma Zaccheo si alzò e disse al Signore: Signore, io do la metà dei miei beni ai poveri e, se ho defraudato qualcuno di qualcosa, gli restituirò quattro volte tanto. |
| 9 | Et Jésus lui dit: Aujourd'hui le salut est venu à cette maison, vu que lui aussi est fils d'Abraham; | And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. | E Gesù gli disse: Oggi la salvezza è entrata in questa casa, perché anche costui è figlio d'Abrahamo. |
| 10 | car le fils de l'homme est venu chercher et sauver ce qui était perdu. | For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. | Perché il Figlio dell'uomo è venuto a cercare e a salvare ciò che era perduto. |
| 11 | Et comme ils entendaient ces choses, il ajouta et leur dit une parabole, parce qu'il était près de Jérusalem, et qu'ils pensaient que le royaume de Dieu allait immédiatement paraître. | And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear. | E, mentre essi ascoltavano queste cose, Gesù proseguì a raccontare una parabola, perché era vicino a Gerusalemme, ed essi pensavano che il regno di Dio dovesse manifestarsi subito. |
| 12 | Il dit donc: Un homme noble s'en alla dans un pays éloigné, pour recevoir un royaume et revenir. | He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. | Disse dunque: Un uomo nobile andò in un paese lontano, per ricevere l'investitura di un regno e poi tornare. |
| 13 | Et ayant appelé dix de ses propres esclaves, il leur donna dix mines, et leur dit: Trafiquez jusqu'à ce que je vienne. | And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come. | E, chiamati a sé dieci suoi servi, diede loro dieci mine, e disse loro: "Trafficate fino al mio ritorno". |
| 14 | Or ses concitoyens le haïssaient; et ils envoyèrent après lui une ambassade, disant: Nous ne voulons pas que celui-ci règne sur nous. | But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. | Ma i suoi cittadini lo odiavano e gli mandarono dietro un'ambasciata, dicendo: "Non vogliamo che costui regni su di noi". |
| 15 | Et il arriva, à son retour, après qu'il eut reçu le royaume, qu'il commanda d'appeler auprès de lui ces esclaves auxquels il avait donné l'argent, afin qu'il sût combien chacun aurait gagné par son trafic. | And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. | Ora, quando fu di ritorno, dopo aver ricevuto l'investitura del regno fece chiamare quei servi ai quali aveva dato il denaro per sapere quanto ciascuno avesse guadagnato trafficando. |
| 16 | Et le premier se présenta, disant: Maître, ta mine a produit dix mines. | Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. | Allora si fece avanti il primo e disse: "Signore, la tua mina ha fruttato altre dieci mine"; |
| 17 | Et il lui dit: Bien, bon esclave, parce que tu as été fidèle en ce qui est très-peu de chose, aie autorité sur dix villes. | And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. | ed egli disse: "Bene, servo buono poiché sei stato fedele in cosa minima, ricevi il governo su dieci città |
| 18 | Et le second vint, disant: Maître, ta mine a produit cinq mines. | And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. | Venne poi il secondo, dicendo: "Signore, la tua mina ha fruttato altre cinque mine"; |
| 19 | Et il dit aussi à celui-ci: Et toi, sois établi sur cinq villes. | And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities. | ed egli disse anche a costui: "Tu pure sii capo di cinque città". |
| 20 | Et un autre vint, disant: Maître, voici ta mine, que j'ai gardée déposée dans un linge; | And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: | Venne poi un altro, che disse: "Signore, ecco la tua mina che ho tenuta riposta in un fazzoletto |
| 21 | car je t'ai craint, parce que tu es un homme sévère: tu prends ce que tu n'as pas mis, et tu moissonnes ce que tu n'as pas semé. | For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. | perché ho avuto paura di te, che sei un uomo severo; tu prendi ciò che non hai depositato e mieti ciò che non hai seminato". |
| 22 | Il lui dit: Je te jugerai par ta propre parole, méchant esclave: tu savais que moi je suis un homme sévère, prenant ce que je n'ai pas mis et moissonnant ce que je n'ai pas semé; | And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: | E il suo signore gli disse: "Ti giudicherò dalle tue stesse parole, malvagio servo; tu sapevi che sono un uomo duro, che prendo ciò che non ho depositato e mieto ciò che non ho seminato; |
| 23 | et pourquoi n'as-tu pas mis mon argent à la banque, et quand je serais venu je l'eusse retiré avec l'intérêt? | Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? | perché non hai depositato il mio denaro in banca; così, al mio ritorno, lo avrei riscosso con l'interesse?" |
| 24 | Et il dit à ceux qui étaient présents: Otez-lui la mine et donnez-la à celui qui a les dix mines. | And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. | Disse poi ai presenti: "Toglietegli la mina e datela a colui che ha dieci mine". |
| 25 | -Et ils lui dirent: Seigneur, il a dix mines. | (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.) | Ed essi gli dissero: "Signore, egli ha dieci mine". |
| 26 | -Car je vous dis qu'à quiconque a, il sera donné; et à celui qui n'a pas, cela même qu'il a lui sera ôté. | For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. | "Poiché io vi dico che a chi ha sarà dato; ma a chi non ha sarà tolto anche quello che ha. |
| 27 | Mais ceux-là, mes ennemis, qui n'ont pas voulu que je régnasse sur eux, amenez-les ici et tuez-les devant moi. | But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. | Inoltre, conducete qui i miei nemici, che non hanno voluto che io regnassi su di loro e uccideteli alla mia presenza. |
| 28 | Et ayant dit ces choses, il allait devant eux, montant à Jérusalem. | And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem. | Dopo aver detto queste cose, egli andava avanti salendo a Gerusalemme. |
| 29 | Et il arriva, comme il approchait de Bethphagé et de Béthanie, vers la montagne appelée des Oliviers, qu'il envoya deux de ses disciples, disant: | And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, | E, come fu vicino a Betfage e a Betania, presso il monte detto degli Ulivi, mandò due dei suoi discepoli, |
| 30 | Allez au village qui est vis-à-vis; et y étant entrés, vous trouverez un ânon attaché, sur lequel jamais aucun homme ne s'assit; détachez-le, et amenez-le. | Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. | dicendo: Andate nel villaggio di fronte, entrando nel quale troverete un puledro di asino legato, su cui nessun uomo è mai salito; scioglietelo e conducetelo qui. |
| 31 | Et si quelqu'un vous demande pourquoi vous le détachez, vous lui direz ainsi: Le Seigneur en a besoin. | And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. | E se qualcuno vi domanda perché lo sciogliete, direte loro così: "Il Signore ne ha bisogno". |
| 32 | Et ceux qui étaient envoyés, s'en allant, trouvèrent tout comme il le leur avait dit. | And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. | E quelli che erano stati mandati andarono e trovarono come egli aveva loro detto. |
| 33 | Et comme ils détachaient l'ânon, les maîtres de celui-ci leur dirent: Pourquoi détachez-vous l'ânon? | And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? | E, mentre scioglievano il puledro, i suoi padroni dissero loro: Perché sciogliete il puledro?. |
| 34 | Et ils dirent: Parce que le Seigneur en a besoin. | And they said, The Lord hath need of him. | Ed essi dissero: Il Signore ne ha bisogno. |
| 35 | Et ils l'amenèrent à Jésus; et ayant jeté leurs vêtements sur l'ânon, ils mirent Jésus dessus. | And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. | Lo condussero allora da Gesù e, gettate le loro vesti sopra il puledro, vi fecero montare Gesù. |
| 36 | Et comme il allait son chemin, ils étendaient leurs vêtements sur le chemin. | And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. | E, mentre egli avanzava, stendevano le loro vesti sulla strada. |
| 37 | Et comme il approchait déjà, à la descente de la montagne des Oliviers, toute la multitude des disciples, se réjouissant, se mit à louer Dieu à haute voix pour tous les miracles qu'ils avaient vus, | And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; | E, quando egli fu vicino alla discesa del monte degli Ulivi, tutta la folla dei discepoli iniziò con gioia a lodare Dio a gran voce per tutte le opere potenti che avevano visto, |
| 38 | disant: Béni soit le roi qui vient au nom du Seigneur! Paix au ciel, et gloire dans les lieux très-hauts! | Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. | dicendo: Benedetto il Re che viene nel nome del Signore; pace in cielo e gloria nei luoghi altissimi. |
| 39 | Et quelques-uns des pharisiens lui dirent du milieu de la foule: Maître, reprends tes disciples. | And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. | E alcuni farisei fra la folla gli dissero: Maestro, sgrida i tuoi discepoli!. |
| 40 | Et répondant, il leur dit: Je vous dis que si ceux-ci se taisent, les pierres crieront. | And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. | Ed egli, rispondendo, disse loro: Io vi dico che se costoro tacessero, griderebbero le pietre. |
| 41 | Et quand il fut proche, voyant la ville, il pleura sur elle, disant: | And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, | E come egli si avvicinava, vide la città e pianse a su di essa, |
| 42 | Si tu eusses connu, toi aussi, au moins en cette tienne journée, les choses qui appartiennent à ta paix! mais maintenant elles sont cachées devant tes yeux. | Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. | dicendo: Oh, se tu, proprio tu, avessi riconosciuto almeno in questo tuo giorno le cose necessarie alla tua pace! Ma ora esse sono nascoste agli occhi tuoi. |
| 43 | Car des jours viendront sur toi, où tes ennemis t'entoureront de tranchées, et t'environneront, et te serreront de tous côtés, | For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, | Poiché verranno sopra di te dei giorni in cui i tuoi nemici ti circonderanno di trincee, ti accerchieranno e ti assedieranno da ogni parte. |
| 44 | et te renverseront par terre, toi et tes enfants au dedans de toi; et ils ne laisseront pas en toi pierre sur pierre, parce que tu n'as point connu le temps de ta visitation. | And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. | E abbatteranno te e i tuoi figli dentro di te; e non lasceranno in te pietra su pietra perché tu non hai riconosciuto il tempo in cui sei stata visitata. |
| 45 | Et il entra au temple, et se mit à chasser dehors ceux qui y vendaient et qui y achetaient, | And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; | Poi, entrato nel tempio, cominciò a cacciarne fuori coloro che vendevano e comperavano, |
| 46 | leur disant: Il est écrit: "Ma maison est une maison de prière"; mais vous, vous en avez fait une caverne de voleurs. | Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves. | dicendo loro: Sta scritto: "La mia casa è casa di preghiera, ma voi ne avete fatto un covo di ladroni". |
| 47 | Et il enseignait tous les jours dans le temple; et les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes, et les principaux du peuple, tâchaient de le faire mourir. | And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him, | Ogni giorno egli insegnava nel tempio. E i capi dei sacerdoti, gli scribi e i capi del popolo cercavano di farlo morire. |
| 48 | Et ils ne trouvaient rien qu'ils pussent faire; car tout le peuple se tenait suspendu à ses lèvres pour l'entendre. | And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him. | Ma non riuscivano a decidere che cosa fare, perché tutto il popolo lo ascoltava pendendo dalle sue labbra. |
