| 8 | Je vous dis que bientôt il leur fera justice. Mais quand le fils de l'homme viendra, trouvera-t-il de la foi sur la terre? | I say unto you, that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? | Sì, io vi dico che li vendicherà prontamente. Ma quando il Figlio dell'uomo verrà, troverà la fede sulla terra?. |
| 9 | Et il dit aussi cette parabole à quelques-uns qui se confiaient en eux-mêmes comme s'ils étaient justes, et qui tenaient le reste des hommes pour rien: | And he spake also this parable unto certain who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and set all others at nought: | Disse ancora questa parabola per certuni che presumevano di essere giusti e disprezzavano gli altri. |

| 11 | Le pharisien, se tenant à l'écart, priait en lui-même en ces termes: O Dieu, je te rends grâces de ce que je ne suis pas comme le reste des hommes qui sont ravisseurs, injustes, adultères; où même comme ce publicain. | The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. | Il fariseo, stando in piedi, dentro di sé pregava così: "O Dio, ti ringrazio che non sono come gli altri uomini, rapaci, ingiusti, adulteri, e neppure come quel pubblicano. |

| 13 | Et le publicain, se tenant loin, ne voulait même pas lever les yeux vers le ciel, mais se frappait la poitrine, disant: O Dieu, sois apaisé envers moi, pécheur! | But the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote his breast, saying, God, be thou merciful to me a sinner. | Il pubblicano invece, stando lontano, non ardiva neppure alzare gli occhi al cielo; ma si batteva il petto, dicendo: "O Dio, sii placato verso me peccatore", |
| 14 | Je vous dis que celui-ci descendit en sa maison justifié plutôt que l'autre; car quiconque s'élève, sera abaissé; et celui qui s'abaisse sera élevé. | I say unto you, This man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled; but he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. | Io vi dico che questi, e non l'altro, ritornò a casa sua giustificato, perché chiunque si innalza sarà abbassato e chi si abbassa sarà innalzato, |
| 15 | Et on lui apporta aussi les petits enfants, afin qu'il les touchât; et les disciples, le voyant, reprirent ceux qui les apportaient. | And they were bringing unto him also their babes, that he should touch them: but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. | Gli presentarono anche dei piccoli fanciulli perché li toccasse; ma i discepoli, vedendo ciò, li sgridavano. |
| 16 | Mais Jésus, les ayant appelés, dit: Laissez venir à moi les petits enfants, et ne les en empêchez pas; car à de tels est le royaume de Dieu. | But Jesus called them unto him, saying, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for to such belongeth the kingdom of God. | Gesù allora, chiamati a sé i fanciulli, disse: Lasciate che i piccoli fanciulli vengano a me e non glielo impedite, perché di tali è il regno di Dio. |
| 17 | En vérité, je vous dis: Quiconque ne recevra pas le royaume de Dieu comme un petit enfant, n'y entrera point. | Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein. | In verità vi dico che chi non riceve il regno di Dio come un piccolo fanciullo, non vi entrerà. |
| 18 | Et un des chefs du peuple l'interrogea, disant: Bon maître, que faut-il que j'aie fait pour hériter de la vie éternelle? | And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? | Uno dei capi lo interrogò, dicendo: Maestro buono, che devo fare per ereditare la vita eterna?. |
| 19 | Et Jésus lui dit: Pourquoi m'appelles-tu bon? Nul n'est bon, sinon un seul, Dieu. | And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, [even] God. | E Gesù gli disse: Perché mi chiami buono? Nessuno è buono, tranne uno solo, cioè Dio. |
| 20 | Tu sais les commandements: Ne commets point adultère; ne tue point; ne dérobe point; ne dis point de faux témoignage; honore ton père et ta mère. | Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor thy father and mother. | Tu conosci i comandamenti: "Non commettere adulterio, non uccidere, non rubare, non dire falsa testimonianza, onora tuo padre e tua madre". |
| 21 | Et il dit: J'ai gardé toutes ces choses dès ma jeunesse. | And he said, All these things have I observed from my youth up. | E colui disse: Tutte queste cose le ho osservate fin dalla mia giovinezza. |
| 22 | Et quand Jésus eut entendu cela, il lui dit: Une chose te manque encore: vends tout ce que tu as, et distribue-le aux pauvres, et tu auras un trésor dans les cieux; et viens, suis-moi. | And when Jesus heard it, he said unto him, One thing thou lackest yet: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. | Udito ciò, Gesù gli disse: Ti manca ancora una cosa: vendi tutto quello che hai e dallo ai poveri e avrai un tesoro nel cielo, poi vieni e seguimi. |
| 23 | Et lui, ayant entendu ces choses, devint fort triste; car il était extrêmement riche. | But when he heard these things, he became exceeding sorrowful; for he was very rich. | Ma egli, udite queste cose, si rattristò grandemente, perché era molto ricco. |
| 24 | Et Jésus, voyant qu'il était devenu fort triste, dit: Combien difficilement ceux qui ont des biens entreront-ils dans le royaume de Dieu! | And Jesus seeing him said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! | Allora Gesù, visto che si era molto rattristato, disse Quanto è difficile per coloro che hanno delle ricchezze entrare nel regno di Dio! |
| 25 | Car il est plus facile qu'un chameau entre par un trou d'aiguille, qu'un riche n'entre dans le royaume de Dieu. | For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle`s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. | Perché è più facile che un cammello passi attraverso la cruna di un ago, che un ricco entri nel regno di Dio. |
| 26 | Et ceux qui entendirent cela dirent: Et qui peut-être sauvé? | And they that heard it said, Then who can be saved? | E quelli che l'udivano dissero: Chi dunque può essere salvato?. |
| 27 | Et il dit: Les choses qui sont impossibles aux hommes, sont possibles à Dieu. | But he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. | Ma egli disse: Le cose impossibili agli uomini, sono possibili a Dio. |
| 28 | Pierre dit: Voici, nous avons tout quitté et nous t'avons suivi. | And Peter said, Lo, we have left our own, and followed thee. | Poi Pietro disse: Ecco, noi abbiamo lasciato ogni cosa e ti abbiamo seguito. |
| 29 | Et il leur dit: En vérité, je vous dis, qu'il n'y a personne qui ait quitté maison, ou parents, ou frères, ou femme, ou enfants, pour l'amour du royaume de Dieu, | And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or wife, or brethren, or parents, or children, for the kingdom of God`s sake, | Ed egli disse loro: In verità vi dico che non c'è nessuno che abbia lasciato casa o genitori o fratelli o moglie o figli, per il regno di Dio, |
| 30 | qui ne reçoive beaucoup plus en ce temps-ci, et, dans le siècle qui vient, la vie éternelle. | who shall not receive manifold more in this time, and in the world to come eternal life. | che non ne riceva molte volte tanto in questo tempo, e nell'età a venire la vita eterna. |
| 31 | Et prenant à lui les douze, il leur dit: Voici, nous montons à Jérusalem, et toutes les choses qui sont écrites par les prophètes touchant le fils de l'homme seront accomplies: | And he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets shall be accomplished unto the Son of man. | Poi prese con sé i dodici e disse loro: Ecco, noi saliamo a Gerusalemme, e tutte le cose scritte dai profeti riguardo al Figlio dell'uomo si compiranno. |
| 32 | car il sera livré aux nations; on se moquera de lui, et on l'injuriera, et on crachera contre lui; | For he shall be delivered up unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and shamefully treated, and spit upon: | Egli infatti sarà consegnato in mano dei gentili, sarà schernito e oltraggiato e gli sarà sputato addosso. |
| 33 | et après qu'ils l'auront fouetté, ils le mettront à mort; et le troisième jour il ressuscitera. | and they shall scourge and kill him: and the third day he shall rise again. | E, dopo averlo flagellato, lo uccideranno; ma il terzo giorno risusciterà. |
| 34 | Et ils ne comprirent rien de ces choses; et cette parole leur était cachée, et ils ne comprirent pas les choses qui étaient dites. | And they understood none of these things; and this saying was hid from them, and they perceived not the things that were said. | Ma essi non compresero nulla di tutto ciò: questo parlare era per loro oscuro e non capivano le cose che erano state loro dette. |
| 35 | Et il arriva, lorsqu'il fut venu dans le voisinage de Jéricho, qu'un aveugle était assis sur le bord du chemin et mendiait. | And it came to pass, as he drew nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: | Ora, come egli si avvicinava a Gerico, un cieco era seduto lungo la strada. mendicando; |
| 36 | Et entendant la foule qui passait, il demanda ce que c'était. | and hearing a multitude going by, he inquired what this meant. | sentendo passare la folla domandò che cosa fosse; |
| 37 | Et on lui rapporta que Jésus le Nazaréen passait. | And they told him that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. | gli risposero che stava passando Gesù, il Nazareno. |
| 38 | Et il cria, disant: Jésus, Fils de David, aie pitié de moi! | And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. | Allora egli gridò, dicendo: Gesù, Figlio di Davide, abbi pietà di me. |
| 39 | Et ceux qui allaient devant le reprirent afin qu'il se tût; mais il criait d'autant plus fort: Fils de David! aie pitié de moi. | And they that went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried out the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. | Quelli che camminavano davanti lo sgridavano perché tacesse, ma lui gridava ancora più forte: Figlio di Davide, abbi pietà di me. |
| 40 | Et Jésus, s'étant arrêté, ordonna qu'on le lui amenât; et comme il s'approchait, il l'interrogea, disant: | And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, | Allora Gesù, fermatosi, ordinò che gli fosse condotto e, quando gli fu vicino, lo interrogò, |
| 41 | Que veux-tu que je te fasse? Et il dit: Seigneur, que je recouvre la vue. | What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. | dicendo: Cosa vuoi che io ti faccia?. Ed egli disse: Signore, che io recuperi la vista. |
| 42 | Jésus lui dit: Recouvre la vue, ta foi t'a guéri. | And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight; thy faith hath made thee whole. | E Gesù gli disse: Recupera la vista; la tua fede ti ha guarito. |
| 43 | Et à l'instant il recouvra la vue et le suivit, glorifiant Dieu. Et tout le peuple, voyant cela, donna louange à Dieu. | And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God. | All'istante egli recuperò la vista e lo seguiva glorificando Dio; e tutto il popolo, vedendo questo, diede lode a Dio. |
