| 1 | And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel; | Et il arriva au huitième jour que Moïse appela Aaron et ses fils, et les Anciens d'Israël. |
| 2 | And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD. | Et il dit à Aaron: Prends un veau du troupeau pour l'offrande pour le péché, et un bélier pour l'holocauste, tous deux sans tare, et les amène devant l'Eternel. |
| 3 | And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering; | Et tu parleras aux enfants d'Israël, en disant: Prenez un jeune bouc pour l'offrande pour le péché, un veau et un agneau, tous deux d'un an, qui soient sans tare, pour l'holocauste; |
| 4 | Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you. | Et un taureau et un bélier pour le sacrifice de prospérités, pour sacrifier devant l'Eternel, et un gâteau pétri à l'huile; car aujourd'hui l'Eternel vous apparaîtra. |
| 5 | And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD. | Ils prirent donc les choses que Moïse avait commandées, et les amenèrent devant le Tabernacle d'assignation; et toute l'assemblée s'approcha, et se tint devant l'Eternel. |
| 6 | And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you. | Et Moïse dit: Faites ce que l'Eternel vous a commandé, et la gloire de l'Eternel vous apparaîtra. |
| 7 | And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded. | Et Moïse dit à Aaron: Approche-toi de l'autel, et fais ton offrande pour le péché, et ton holocauste, et fais propitiation pour toi, et pour le peuple; et présente l'offrande pour le peuple; et fais propitiation pour eux, comme l'Eternel l'a commandé. |
| 8 | Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself. | Alors Aaron s'approcha de l'autel, et égorgea le veau de son offrande pour le péché. |
| 9 | And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar: | Et les fils d'Aaron lui présentèrent le sang, et il trempa son doigt dans le sang, et le mit sur les cornes de l'autel; puis il répandit le reste du sang au pied de l'autel. |
| 10 | But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses. | Mais il fit fumer sur l'autel la graisse, et les rognons, et la taie du foie de l'offrande pour le péché, comme l'Eternel l'avait commandé à Moïse. |
| 11 | And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp. | Et il brûla au feu la chair et la peau hors du camp. |
| 12 | And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar. | Il égorgea aussi l'holocauste, et les fils d'Aaron lui présentèrent le sang, lequel il répandit sur l'autel tout à l'entour. |
| 13 | And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar. | Puis ils lui présentèrent l'holocauste coupé par pièces, et la tête, et il fit fumer ces choses-là sur l'autel. |
| 14 | And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar. | Et il lava les entrailles et les jambes, qu'il fit fumer au dessus de l'holocauste sur l'autel. |
| 15 | And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first. | Il offrit l'offrande du peuple, il prit le bouc de l'offrande pour le péché pour le peuple, il l'égorgea, et l'offrit pour le péché, comme la première offrande. |
| 16 | And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner. | Il l'offrit en holocauste, et agit selon l'ordonnance. |
| 17 | And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning. | Ensuite il offrit l'oblation du gâteau, et il en remplit la paume de sa main, et la fit fumer sur l'autel, outre l'holocauste du matin. |
| 18 | He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about, | Il égorgea aussi le taureau et le bélier pour le sacrifice de prospérités, qui était pour le peuple; et les fils d'Aaron lui présentèrent le sang, lequel il répandit sur l'autel tout à l'entour. |
| 19 | And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver: | Ils présentèrent les graisses du taureau et du bélier, la queue, et ce qui couvre les entrailles, et les rognons, et la taie du foie. |
| 20 | And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar: | Et ils mirent les graisses sur les poitrines, et on fit fumer les graisses sur l'autel. |
| 21 | And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded. | Et Aaron tournoya en offrande tournoyée devant l'Eternel les poitrines et l'épaule droite, comme l'Eternel l'avait commandé à Moïse. |
| 22 | And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings. | Aaron éleva aussi ses mains vers le peuple, et les bénit; et il descendit après avoir offert l'offrande pour le péché, l'holocauste, et le sacrifice de prospérités. |
| 23 | And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people. | Moïse donc et Aaron vinrent au Tabernacle d'assignation, et étant sortis ils bénirent le peuple; et la gloire de l'Eternel apparut à tout le peuple. |
| 24 | And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces. | Car le feu sortit de devant l'Eternel, et consuma sur l'autel l'holocauste et les graisses; ce que tout le peuple ayant vu, ils s'écrièrent de joie, et se prosternèrent le visage contre terre. |
