| 1 | And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel; | Or avvenne nell'ottavo giorno che Mosè chiamò Aaronne, i suoi figli e gli anziani d'Israele, |
| 2 | And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD. | e disse ad Aaronne: Prendi un vitello per il sacrificio per il peccato e un montone per un olocausto, ambedue senza difetto, e offrili davanti all'Eterno. |
| 3 | And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering; | Parlerai quindi ai figli d'Israele, dicendo: Prendete un capro per un sacrificio per il peccato, un vitello e un agnello, ambedue di un anno, senza difetto, per un olocausto. |
| 4 | Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you. | un torello e un montone per un sacrificio di ringraziamento, per sacrificarli davanti all'Eterno, e un'offerta di cibo, mescolata con olio, perché oggi l'Eterno vi apparirà. |
| 5 | And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD. | Essi dunque portarono davanti alla tenda di convegno ciò che Mosè aveva comandato; e tutta l'assemblea si avvicinò e rimase in piedi davanti all'Eterno. |
| 6 | And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you. | Allora Mosè disse: Questo è ciò che l'Eterno vi ha comandato; fatelo, e la gloria dell'Eterno vi apparirà. |
| 7 | And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded. | Poi Mosè disse ad Aaronne: Avvicinati all'altare; offri il tuo sacrificio per il peccato e il tuo olocausto e fa' l'espiazione per te e per il popolo; presenta pure l'offerta del popolo e fa' l'espiazione per loro, come l'Eterno ha comandato. |
| 8 | Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself. | Così Aaronne si avvicinò all'altare e scannò il vitello del sacrificio per il peccato, che era per sé. |
| 9 | And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar: | Poi i suoi figli gli presentarono il sangue ed egli intinse il suo dito nel sangue e lo mise sui corni dell'altare, e versò il resto del sangue alla base dell'altare; |
| 10 | But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses. | ma il grasso, i reni e il lobo grasso del fegato della vittima per il peccato, li fece fumare sull'altare, come l'Eterno aveva ordinato a Mosè. |
| 11 | And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp. | La carne e la pelle invece le bruci fuori del campo. |
| 12 | And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar. | Poi scannò l'olocausto; i figli di Aaronne gli porsero il sangue ed egli lo spruzzò tutt'intorno sull'altare. |
| 13 | And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar. | Gli porsero quindi l'olocausto fatto a pezzi e la testa; ed egli li fece fumare sull'altare. |
| 14 | And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar. | Lavò gli intestini e le gambe e li fece fumare con l'olocausto sull'altare. |
| 15 | And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first. | Poi presentò l'offerta del popolo. Prese il capro, che era il sacrificio per il peccato del popolo, lo scannò e l'offrì per il peccato, come il primo. |
| 16 | And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner. | Poi presentò l'olocausto e lo offerse secondo la regola stabilita. |
| 17 | And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning. | Presentò quindi l'oblazione di cibo; ne prese una manciata e la fece fumare sull'altare, oltre l'olocausto della mattina. |
| 18 | He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about, | Scannò anche il torello e il montone, come sacrificio di ringraziamento per il popolo. I figli di Aaronne gli porsero il sangue, ed egli lo spruzzò tutt'intorno sull'altare. |
| 19 | And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver: | Gli porsero il grasso del bue, del montone, la coda grassa, il grasso che copre gli intestini, i reni e il lobo grasso del fegato; |
| 20 | And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar: | misero il grasso sui petti, ed egli fece fumare il grasso sull'altare; |
| 21 | And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded. | ma i petti e la coscia destra Aaronne li agitò davanti all'Eterno come offerta agitata nel modo che Mosè aveva ordinato. |
| 22 | And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings. | Poi Aaronne alzò le sue mani verso il popolo e lo benedisse; dopo aver fatto il sacrificio per il peccato, l'olocausto e i sacrifici di ringraziamento discese dall'altare. |
| 23 | And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people. | Quindi Mosè ed Aaronne entrarono nella tenda di convegno; poi uscirono e benedissero il popolo. Allora la gloria dell'Eterno apparve a tutto il popolo. |
| 24 | And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces. | Quindi un fuoco uscì dalla presenza dell'Eterno e consumò sull'altare l'olocausto e il grasso; tutto il popolo lo vide, proruppe in grida di gioia e si prostrò con la faccia a terra. |
