1	Vous ne vous ferez point d'idoles, vous ne vous élèverez ni image taillée ni statue, et vous ne placerez dans votre pays aucune pierre ornée de figures, pour vous prosterner devant elle ; car je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.	Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.	Vous ne vous ferez point d'idoles, et vous ne vous dresserez ni image taillée, ni statue, et vous ne mettrez pas de pierre ornée de figures dans votre pays, pour vous prosterner devant elle; car je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu. 5	A peine aurez-vous battu le blé que vous toucherez à la vendange, et la vendange atteindra les semailles ; vous mangerez votre pain à satiété, et vous habiterez en sécurité dans votre pays.	And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.	Le foulage des grains atteindra chez vous la vendange; et la vendange atteindra les semailles; vous mangerez votre pain à satiété, et vous habiterez en sécurité dans votre pays.	And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time; and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6	Je mettrai la paix dans le pays, et personne ne troublera votre sommeil ; je ferai disparaître du pays les bêtes féroces, et l'épée ne passera point par votre pays.	And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.	Je mettrai la paix dans le pays; vous dormirez sans que personne vous épouvante; je ferai disparaître du pays les mauvaises bêtes, et l'épée ne passera point par votre pays.	And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
7	Vous poursuivrez vos ennemis, et ils tomberont devant vous par l'épée.	And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. 11	J'établirai ma demeure au milieu de vous, et mon âme ne vous aura point en horreur.	And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you. I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.	Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu qui vous ai fait sortir du pays d'Égypte, afin que vous n'y fussiez plus esclaves. J'ai brisé les barres de votre joug, et je vous ai fait marcher la tête levée.	I am Jehovah your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bars of your yoke, and made you go upright.
14	Mais si vous ne m'écoutez point et ne mettez point en pratique tous ces commandements,	But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;	Mais si vous ne m'écoutez pas, et si vous ne pratiquez pas tous ces commandements,	But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
15	si vous méprisez mes lois, et si votre âme a en horreur mes ordonnances, en sorte que vous ne pratiquiez point tous mes commandements et que vous rompiez mon alliance,	And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:	Si vous méprisez mes ordonnances, et si votre âme a mes lois en aversion, pour ne pas pratiquer tous mes commandements, et pour enfreindre mon alliance,	and if ye shall reject my statutes, and if your soul abhor mine ordinances, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant;
16	voici alors ce que je vous ferai. J'enverrai sur vous la terreur, la consomption et la fièvre, qui rendront vos yeux languissants et votre âme souffrante ; et vous sèmerez en vain vos semences : vos ennemis les dévoreront.	I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.	Voici alors ce que je vous ferai: Je ferai venir sur vous la terreur, la consomption et la fièvre, qui consumeront vos yeux et accableront votre âme; vous sèmerez en vain votre semence: vos ennemis la mangeront.	I also will do this unto you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall consume the eyes, and make the soul to pine away; and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17	Je tournerai ma face contre vous, et vous serez battus devant vos ennemis ; ceux qui vous haïssent domineront sur vous, et vous fuirez sans que l'on vous poursuive.	And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.	Et je tournerai ma face contre vous; vous serez battus devant vos ennemis; ceux qui vous haïssent domineront sur vous, et vous fuirez sans que personne vous poursuive.	And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be smitten before your enemies: they that hate you shall rule over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
18	Si, malgré cela, vous ne m'écoutez point, je vous châtierai sept fois plus pour vos péchés.	And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.	Que si, malgré cela, vous ne m'écoutez pas, j'en ajouterai sept fois autant pour vous châtier, à cause de vos péchés;	And if ye will not yet for these things hearken unto me, then I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.
19	Je briserai l'orgueil de votre force, je rendrai votre ciel comme du fer, et votre terre comme de l'airain.	And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:	Et je briserai l'orgueil de votre force. 20	Votre force s'épuisera inutilement, votre terre ne donnera pas ses produits, et les arbres de la terre ne donneront pas leurs fruits.	And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. 21	Si vous me résistez et ne voulez point m'écouter, je vous frapperai sept fois plus selon vos péchés.	And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.	Que si vous marchez en opposition avec moi, et si vous ne voulez pas m'écouter, je vous frapperai sept fois plus, selon vos péchés. 22	J'enverrai contre vous les animaux des champs, qui vous priveront de vos enfants, qui détruiront votre bétail, et qui vous réduiront à un petit nombre ; et vos chemins seront déserts.	I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.	J'enverrai contre vous les animaux des champs, qui vous priveront de vos enfants, qui détruiront votre bétail, et qui vous réduiront à un petit nombre; et vos chemins seront déserts.	And I will send the beast of the field among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your ways shall become desolate.
23	Si ces châtiments ne vous corrigent point et si vous me résistez,	And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;	Si, malgré ces choses, vous ne recevez pas ma correction, et que vous marchiez en opposition avec moi,	And if by these things ye will not be reformed unto me, but will walk contrary unto me;
24	je vous résisterai aussi et je vous frapperai sept fois plus pour vos péchés.	Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins. 25	Je ferai venir contre vous l'épée, qui vengera mon alliance ; quand vous vous rassemblerez dans vos villes, j'enverrai la peste au milieu de vous, et vous serez livrés aux mains de l'ennemi.	And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.	Et je ferai venir sur vous l'épée, qui vengera mon alliance; quand vous vous rassemblerez dans vos villes, j'enverrai la peste au milieu de vous, et vous serez livrés aux mains de l'ennemi.	And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall execute the vengeance of the covenant; and ye shall be gathered together within your cities: and I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
26	Lorsque je vous briserai le bâton du pain, dix femmes cuiront votre pain dans un seul four et rapporteront votre pain au poids ; vous mangerez, et vous ne serez point rassasiés.	And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.	Quand je vous briserai le bâton du pain, dix femmes cuiront votre pain dans un seul four, et vous rendront votre pain au poids; vous mangerez, et vous ne serez point rassasiés.	When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

30	Je détruirai vos hauts lieux, j'abattrai vos statues consacrées au soleil, je mettrai vos cadavres sur les cadavres de vos idoles, et mon âme vous aura en horreur.	And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.	Je détruirai vos hauts lieux, et j'abattrai vos colonnes solaires, et je mettrai vos cadavres sur les cadavres de vos idoles, et mon âme vous aura en aversion.	And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your sun-images, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul shall abhor you.
31	Je réduirai vos villes en déserts, je ravagerai vos sanctuaires, et je ne respirerai plus l'odeur agréable de vos parfums.	And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours. 32	Je dévasterai le pays, et vos ennemis qui l'habiteront en seront stupéfaits.	And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. 33	Je vous disperserai parmi les nations et je tirerai l'épée après vous. Votre pays sera dévasté, et vos villes seront désertes.	And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste. 34	Alors le pays jouira de ses sabbats, tout le temps qu'il sera dévasté et que vous serez dans le pays de vos ennemis ; alors le pays se reposera, et jouira de ses sabbats.	Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.	Alors la terre s'acquittera de ses sabbats, tout le temps qu'elle sera désolée, et que vous serez dans le pays de vos ennemis; alors la terre se reposera et s'acquittera de ses sabbats.	Then shall the land enjoy its sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye are in your enemies` land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy its sabbaths.
35	Tout le temps qu'il sera dévasté, il aura le repos qu'il n'avait pas eu dans vos sabbats, tandis que vous l'habitiez.	As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.	Tout le temps qu'elle sera désolée, elle se reposera, parce qu'elle ne s'était pas reposée dans vos sabbats, pendant que vous l'habitiez. 36	Je rendrai pusillanime le coeur de ceux d'entre vous qui survivront, dans les pays de leurs ennemis ; le bruit d'une feuille agitée les poursuivra ; ils fuiront comme on fuit devant l'épée, et ils tomberont sans qu'on les poursuive.	And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.	Quant à ceux d'entre vous qui survivront, je rendrai leur coeur lâche dans les pays de leurs ennemis; le bruit d'une feuille agitée les poursuivra; ils fuiront comme on fuit devant l'épée, et ils tomberont sans qu'on les poursuive;	And as for them that are left of you, I will send a faintness into their heart in the lands of their enemies: and the sound of a driven leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as one fleeth from the sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.
37	Ils se renverseront les uns sur les autres comme devant l'épée, sans qu'on les poursuive. Vous ne subsisterez point en présence de vos ennemis ;	And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.	Et ils trébucheront l'un sur l'autre comme devant l'épée, sans que personne les poursuive; et vous ne pourrez subsister devant vos ennemis.	And they shall stumble one upon another, as it were before the sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
38	vous périrez parmi les nations, et le pays de vos ennemis vous dévorera.	And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up. 39	Ceux d'entre vous qui survivront seront frappés de langueur pour leurs iniquités, dans les pays de leurs ennemis ; ils seront aussi frappés de langueur pour les iniquités de leurs pères.	And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.	Et ceux d'entre vous qui survivront, se consumeront à cause de leur iniquité, dans les pays de vos ennemis, et aussi à cause des iniquités de leurs pères, ils se consumeront comme eux.	And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies` lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
