| 2 | This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: he shall be brought unto the priest: | Questa è la legge relativa al lebbroso per il giorno della sua purificazione. Egli sarà portato dal sacerdote. |
| 3 | and the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look; and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper, | Il sacerdote uscirà dal campo e lo esaminerà e se la piaga della lebbra è guarita nel lebbroso, |
| 4 | then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two living clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: | Il sacerdote ordinerà di prendere per colui che dev'essere purificato due uccelli vivi e puri, del legno di cedro, dello scarlatto e dell'issopo. |
| 5 | And the priest shall command to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water. | Il sacerdote ordinerà che si sgozzi uno degli uccelli in un vaso d'argilla su acqua corrente. |
| 6 | As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water: | Poi prenderà l'uccello vivo il legno di cedro, lo scarlatto e l'issopo e li immergerà, con l'uccello vivo nel sangue dell'uccello sgozzato sull'acqua corrente. |
| 7 | And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let go the living bird into the open field. | Lo spruzzerà quindi sette volte su colui che deve essere purificato dalla lebbra; lo dichiarerà puro e lascerà andar libero per i campi l'uccello vivo. |
| 8 | And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days. | Colui che deve essere purificato laverà le sue vesti, raderà tutti i suoi peli si laverà nell'acqua e sarà puro. Dopo questo potrà entrare nel campo ma resterà sette giorni fuori della sua tenda. |
| 9 | And it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and he shall be clean. | Il settimo giorno raderà tutti i peli del suo capo, della sua barba e delle sue ciglia; raderà insomma tutti i suoi peli. Laverà le sue vesti e laverà il suo corpo nell'acqua e sarà puro. |
| 10 | And on the eighth day he shall take two he-lambs without blemish, and one ewe-lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenth parts [of an ephah] of fine flour for a meal-offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil. | L'ottavo giorno prenderà due agnelli senza difetto, un'agnella di un anno senza difetto, tre decimi i efa di fior di farina, mescolata con olio, come un'offerta di cibo, e un log d'olio; |
| 11 | And the priest that cleanseth him shall set the man that is to be cleansed, and those things, before Jehovah, at the door of the tent of meeting. | e il sacerdote che compie la purificazione presenterà colui che deve essere purificato e tutte queste cose davanti all'Eterno, all'ingresso della tenda di convegno. |
| 12 | And the priest shall take one of the he-lambs, and offer him for a trespass-offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave-offering before Jehovah: | Poi il sacerdote prenderà un agnello e lo offrirà come sacrificio di riparazione, con il log d'olio, e li agiterà come offerta agitata davanti all'Eterno. |
| 13 | and he shall kill the he-lamb in the place where they kill the sin-offering and the burnt-offering, in the place of the sanctuary: for as the sin-offering is the priest`s, so is the trespass-offering: it is most holy: | Scannerà quindi l'agnello nel luogo dove si scannano i sacrifici per il peccato e gli olocausti, nel luogo santo, poiché come il sacrificio di riparazione appartiene al sacerdote, così è il sacrificio per il peccato; è cosa santissima. |
| 14 | and the priest shall take of the blood of the trespass-offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot. | Il sacerdote prenderà un po' di sangue del sacrificio di riparazione e il sacerdote lo metterà sull'estremità dell'orecchio destro di colui che deve essere purificato, sul pollice della sua mano destra e sul dito grosso del suo piede destro. |
| 15 | And the priest shall take of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand; | Poi il sacerdote prenderà un po' di olio dal log e lo verserà nella palma della sua mano sinistra; |
| 16 | and the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before Jehovah: | quindi il sacerdote intingerà il dito della sua mano destra nell'olio che ha nella sua mano sinistra e col dito spruzzerà sette volte un po' d'olio davanti all'Eterno. |
| 17 | and of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass-offering: | del resto dell'olio che ha in mano, il sacerdote ne metterà un po' sull'estremità dell'orecchio destro di colui che deve essere purificato sul pollice della sua mano destra e sul dito grosso del suo piede destro sul posto ove ha messo il sangue del sacrificio di riparazione. |
| 18 | and the rest of the oil that is in the priest`s hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah. | Il resto dell'olio che ha in mano, il sacerdote lo metterà sul capo di colui che deve essere purificato; così il sacerdote farà per lui l'espiazione davanti all'Eterno. |
| 19 | And the priest shall offer the sin-offering, and make atonement for him that is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness: and afterward he shall kill the burnt-offering; | Poi il sacerdote offrirà il sacrificio per il peccato e farà l'espiazione per colui che deve essere purificato dalla sua impurità; dopo di ciò scannerà l'olocausto. |
| 20 | and the priest shall offer the burnt-offering and the meal-offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean. | Il sacerdote offrirà l'olocausto e l'oblazione di cibo sull'altare; così il sacerdote farà per lui l'espiazione, ed egli sarà puro. |
| 21 | And if he be poor, and cannot get so much, then he shall take one he-lamb for a trespass-offering to be waved, to make atonement for him, and one tenth part [of an ephah] of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering, and a log of oil; | Se quel tale è povero e non può procurarsi queste cose, prenderà un solo agnello da offrire come sacrificio di trasgressione, per offerta agitata, per fare l'espiazione per lui, e un decimo di efa di fior di farina mescolata con olio come offerta di cibo, un log di olio, |
| 22 | and two turtle-doves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin-offering, and the other a burnt-offering. | e due tortore o due giovani piccioni, secondo le sue disponibilità; uno sarà per il sacrificio per il peccato e l'altro per l'olocausto. |
| 23 | And on the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tent of meeting, before Jehovah: | L'ottavo giorno porterà, per la sua purificazione, queste cose al sacerdote all'ingresso della tenda di convegno davanti all'Eterno. |
| 24 | and the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass-offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave-offering before Jehovah. | Il sacerdote prenderà l'agnello del sacrificio per la trasgressione e il log d'olio, e il sacerdote li agiterà come offerta agitata davanti all'Eterno. |
| 25 | And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass-offering; and the priest shall take of the blood of the trespass-offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot. | Poi scannerà l'agnello del sacrificio per la trasgressione. Il sacerdote prenderà un po' di sangue del sacrificio per la trasgressione e lo metterà sull'estremità dell'orecchio destro di colui che deve essere purificato, sul pollice della sua mano destra e sul dito grosso del suo piede destro. |
| 26 | And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand; | Il sacerdote verserà un po' di olio sulla palma della sua mano sinistra. |
| 27 | and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before Jehovah: | E col dito della sua mano destra il sacerdote spruzzerà sette volte un po' dell'olio che ha nella sua mano sinistra davanti all'Eterno. |
| 28 | and the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass-offering: | Poi il sacerdote metterà un po' dell'olio che ha in mano sull'estremità dell'orecchio destro di colui che deve essere purificato, sul pollice della sua mano destra e sul dito grosso del suo piede destro. nel luogo ove ha messo il sangue del sacrificio della trasgressione. |
| 29 | and the rest of the oil that is in the priest`s hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before Jehovah. | Il resto dell'olio che ha in mano, il sacerdote lo metterà sul capo di colui che deve essere purificato, per fare espiazione per lui davanti all'Eterno. |
| 30 | And he shall offer one of the turtle-doves, or of the young pigeons, such as he is able to get, | Poi offrirà una delle tortore o uno dei due giovani piccioni, secondo le sue possibilità; |
| 31 | even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, with the meal-offering: and the priest shall make atonement for him that is to be cleansed before Jehovah. | Offrirà quello che ha potuto procurarsi uno come sacrificio per il peccato e l'altro come olocausto, insieme con l'oblazione di cibo; così il sacerdote farà l'espiazione davanti all'Eterno per colui che deve essere purificato. |
| 32 | This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to get [that which pertaineth] to his cleansing. | Questa è la legge per colui che è affetto da piaga di lebbra e non ha mezzi per procurarsi ciò che è richiesto per la sua purificazione. |
| 33 | And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, | L'Eterno parlò ancora a Mosè e ad Aaronne, dicendo: |
| 34 | When ye are come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession; | Quando entrerete nel paese di Canaan che io vi do in proprietà, se mando la piaga della lebbra in una casa del paese di vostra proprietà, |
| 35 | then he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, There seemeth to me to be as it were a plague in the house. | Il proprietario della casa andrà a dichiararlo al sacerdote, dicendo: "Mi sembra che ci sia una specie di piaga in casa mia". |
| 36 | And the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest goeth in to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house: | Allora il sacerdote ordinerà che svuotino la casa prima che egli entri a esaminare la piaga, affinché tutto quello che c'è in casa non diventi impuro. Dopo questo, il sacerdote entrerà a esaminare la casa. |
| 37 | and he shall look on the plague; and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow streaks, greenish or reddish, and the appearance thereof be lower than the wall; | Esaminerà quindi la piaga; se la piaga che è sui muri della casa ha delle cavità verdastre o rossastre che appaiono più profonde della superficie della parete, |
| 38 | then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days. | il sacerdote uscirà dalla casa, alla porta, e chiuderà la casa per sette giorni. |
| 39 | And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look; and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house; | Il settimo giorno il sacerdote ritornerà ed esaminerà la casa; se la piaga si è chiusa sulle pareti della casa, |
| 40 | then the priest shall command that they take out the stones in which the plague is, and cast them into an unclean place without the city: | il sacerdote ordinerà che tirino via le pietre su cui è la piaga e che le gettino in un luogo impuro fuori della città. |
| 41 | and he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the mortar, that they scrape off, without the city into an unclean place: | Farà quindi raschiare l'interno della casa, tutt'intorno, e getteranno l'intonaco che hanno asportato fuori della città, in luogo impuro. |
| 42 | and they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall plaster the house. | Poi prenderanno delle altre pietre e le metteranno al posto delle prime, e prenderanno dell'altra calce per intonacare la casa. |
| 43 | And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken out the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plastered; | Se però la piaga torna ad erompere nella casa, dopo che ne ha tolte via le pietre e dopo che la casa è stata raschiata e rintonacata, |
| 44 | then the priest shall come in and look; and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean. | il sacerdote entrerà ad esaminare la casa; se la piaga si è chiusa nella casa, vi è lebbra maligna nella casa; essa è impura. |
| 45 | And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the mortar of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place. | Perciò demolirà la casa e porterà le pietre, il legname e l'intonaco fuori della città, in un luogo impuro. |
| 46 | Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even. | Inoltre chiunque entra nella casa durante tutto il tempo in cui è stata chiusa, sarà impuro fino alla sera. |
| 47 | And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes. | Chi dorme nella casa, si laverà le vesti; similmente chi mangia nella casa, si laverà le vesti. |
| 48 | And if the priest shall come in, and look, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plastered; then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed. | Ma se il sacerdote entra nella casa e la esamina, e la piaga non si è chiusa nella casa dopo che la casa è stata intonacata, il sacerdote dichiarerà la casa pura, perché la piaga è guarita. |
| 49 | And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: | Poi, per purificare la casa, prenderà due uccelli, legno di cedro, scarlatto e issopo; |

| 52 | and he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet: | Così purificherà la casa col sangue dell'uccello, con l'acqua corrente, con l'uccello vivo, col legno di cedro con l'issopo e con lo scarlatto; |
| 53 | but he shall let got the living bird out of the city into the open field: so shall he make atonement for the house; and it shall be clean. | ma lascerà andare libero l'uccello vivo fuori della città, per i campi; farà così l'espiazione, per la casa, ed essa sarà pura. |
| 54 | This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and for a scall, | Questa è la legge per ogni piaga di lebbra e per la tigna, |
| 55 | and for the leprosy of a garment, and for a house, | per la lebbra delle vesti e della casa, |
| 56 | and for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot; | per i gonfiori, le pustole e le macchie lucide, |
| 57 | to teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy. | per insegnare quando una cosa è impura e quando è pura. Questa è la legge per la lebbra. |
