| 6 | si vous n'opprimez pas l'étranger, l'orphelin et la veuve, et que vous ne versiez pas le sang innocent dans ce lieu, et que vous ne marchiez pas après d'autres dieux pour votre dommage, | if ye oppress not the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your own hurt: | se non opprimete lo straniero, l'orfano e la vedova, se non spargete sangue innocente in questo luogo e non andate dietro ad altri dèi a vostro danno. |
| 7 | je vous ferai demeurer dans ce lieu, dans le pays que j'ai donné à vos pères, de siècle en siècle. | then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even for evermore. | allora io vi farò abitare in questo luogo, nel paese che ho dato ai vostri padri da molto tempo e per sempre. |

| 9 | Quoi? voler, tuer, commettre adultère, jurer faussement, brûler de l'encens à Baal, marcher après d'autres dieux que vous ne connaissez pas!... | Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods that ye have not known, | Così voi rubate, uccidete, commettete adulteri, giurate il falso, bruciate incenso a Baal e andate dietro ad altri dèi che prima non conoscevate, |
| 10 | et vous venez, et vous vous tenez devant moi dans cette maison qui est appelée de mon nom, et vous dites: Nous sommes délivrés pour faire toutes ces abominations. | and come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered; that ye may do all these abominations? | e poi venite a presentarvi davanti a me in questo tempio su cui è invocato il mio nome e dite: Siamo salvi! per poi compiere tutte queste abominazioni. |
| 11 | Cette maison qui est appelée de mon nom, est-elle une caverne de voleurs à vos yeux? Moi aussi, voici, je l'ai vu, dit l'Éternel. | Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it, saith Jehovah. | Questo tempio su cui è invocato il mio nome è forse divenuto ai vostri occhi un covo di ladroni? Ecco, io ho visto questo, dice l'Eterno. |
| 12 | Car allez à mon lieu qui était à Silo, où j'ai fait demeurer mon nom au commencement, et regardez ce que je lui ai fait, à cause de l'iniquité de mon peuple Israël. | But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. | Ma andate ora al mio luogo che era a Sciloh, dove avevo inizialmente posto il mio nome e vedete che cosa ne ho fatto a motivo della malvagità del mio popolo Israele. |
| 13 | Et maintenant, parce que vous avez fait toutes ces actions, dit l'Éternel, et que je vous ai parlé, me levant de bonne heure et parlant, et que vous n'avez pas écouté, et que je vous ai appelés et que vous n'avez pas répondu, | And now, because ye have done all these works, saith Jehovah, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not: | Ed ora, poiché avete compiuto tutte queste cose dice l'Eterno, poiché quando vi ho parlato con urgenza ed insistenza non avete ascoltato, e vi ho chiamati e non avete risposto, |
| 14 | ferai à cette maison qui est appelée de mon nom, en laquelle vous avez mis votre confiance, et au lieu que je vous ai donné, à vous et à vos pères, comme j'ai fait à Silo; | therefore will I do unto the house which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh. | io farò con questo tempio su cui è invocato il mio nome e in cui riponete la vostra fiducia, con questo luogo che ho dato a voi e ai vostri padri, come ho fatto a Sciloh; |
| 15 | et je vous chasserai de devant ma face, comme j'ai chassé tous vos frères, toute la semence d'Éphraïm. | And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. | e vi scaccerò dalla mia presenza, come ho scacciato tutti i vostri fratelli, tutta la progenie di Efraim. |
| 16 | Et toi, ne prie pas pour ce peuple, et ne fais monter pour eux ni cri ni prière; et n'insiste pas auprès de moi, car je ne t'écouterai pas. | Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me; for I will not hear thee. | Perciò non intercedere per questo popolo non innalzare per loro alcun grido o preghiera e non insistere presso di me, perché non ti esaudirò. |
| 17 | Ne vois-tu pas ce qu'ils font dans les villes de Juda, et dans les rues de Jérusalem? | Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? | Non vedi ciò che fanno nelle città di Giuda e nelle vie di Gerusalemme? |
| 18 | Les fils ramassent le bois, et les pères allument le feu, et les femmes pétrissent la pâte pour faire des gâteaux à la reine des cieux, et pour répandre des libations à d'autres dieux, afin de me provoquer à colère. | The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink-offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. | I figli raccolgono la legna, i padri accendono il fuoco e le donne impastano la farina per fare delle focacce alla regina del cielo, e poi fanno libazioni, ad altri dei per provocarmi ad ira. |
| 19 | Est-ce moi qu'ils provoquent à colère? dit l'Éternel. N'est-ce pas eux-mêmes, à la honte de leur visage? | Do they provoke me to anger? saith Jehovah; [do they] not [provoke] themselves, to the confusion of their own faces? | Ma provocano veramente me, dice l'Eterno, o non piuttosto se stessi a loro propria vergogna?. |
| 20 | C'est pourquoi ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici, ma colère et ma fureur vont être versées sur ce lieu-ci, sur l'homme et sur la bête, sur l'arbre des champs et sur le fruit de la terre; et elles s'embraseront et ne s'éteindront pas. | Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, mine anger and my wrath shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched. | Perciò così dice il Signore, l'Eterno: Ecco, la mia ira, il mio furore si riverserà su questo luogo, sugli uomini e sulle bestie sugli alberi della campagna e sui frutti della terra e arderà senza estinguersi. |
| 21 | Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Ajoutez vos holocaustes à vos sacrifices, et mangez de la chair. | Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Add your burnt-offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat ye flesh. | Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Aggiungete i vostri olocausti ai vostri sacrifici e mangiatene la carne! |
| 22 | Car je n'ai point parlé avec vos pères, et je ne leur ai point commandé touchant des holocaustes et des sacrifices, au jour que je les fis sortir du pays d'Égypte. | For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt-offerings or sacrifices: | Poiché io non parlai ai vostri padri e non diedi loro alcun ordine, quando li feci uscire dal paese d'Egitto, riguardo agli olocausti e sacrifici; |
| 23 | Mais je leur ai commandé ceci, disant: Écoutez ma voix, et je serai votre Dieu, et vous serez mon peuple; et marchez dans toute la voie que je vous commande, afin que vous vous trouviez bien. | but this thing I commanded them, saying, Hearken unto my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people; and walk ye in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you. | ma questo comandai loro: "Ascoltate la mia voce, e io sarò il vostro DIO e voi sarete il mio popolo; camminate in tutte le vie che vi ho comandato, perché siate felici". |
| 24 | Et ils n'écoutèrent pas et n'inclinèrent par leur oreille; mais ils marchèrent dans les conseils, dans l'obstination de leur mauvais coeur, et ils sont allés en arrière et non en avant. | But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in [their own] counsels [and] in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. | Ma essi non ascoltarono né prestarono orecchio, ma camminarono secondo i consigli e la caparbietà del loro cuore malvagio, e andarono indietro e non avanti. |
| 25 | Depuis le jour que vos pères sortirent du pays d'Égypte, jusqu'à ce jour, je vous ai envoyé tous mes serviteurs les prophètes, chaque jour me levant de bonne heure, et les envoyant. | Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day, I have sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them: | Dal giorno in cui i vostri padri uscirono dal paese d'Egitto fino a quest'oggi, vi ho mandato tutti i miei servi, i profeti ogni giorno con urgenza ed insistenza. |
| 26 | Mais ils ne m'ont point écouté, et ils n'ont point incliné leur oreille; et ils ont roidi leur cou, ils ont fait pis que leurs pères. | yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff: they did worse than their fathers. | Essi però non mi hanno ascoltato né hanno prestato orecchio, ma hanno indurito la loro cervice e si sono comportati peggio dei loro padri. |
| 27 | Et tu leur diras toutes ces paroles, mais ils ne t'écouteront pas; et tu crieras après eux, mais ils ne te répondront pas. | And thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee. | Perciò tu dirai loro tutte queste cose, ma non ti ascolteranno; li chiamerai, ma non ti risponderanno. |
| 28 | Et tu leur diras: C'est ici la nation qui n'a point écouté la voix de l'Éternel, son Dieu, et qui n'a point accepté la correction; la fidélité a péri, et est retranchée de leur bouche. | And thou shalt say unto them, This is the nation that hath not hearkened to the voice of Jehovah their God, nor received instruction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth. | Così dirai loro: "Questa è la nazione che non ascolta la voce dell'Eterno, il suo DIO, né accetta correzione; la verità è scomparsa ed è stata eliminata dalla loro bocca". |
| 29 | Coupe ta chevelure, et jette-la loin, et, sur les hauteurs, élève une complainte; car l'Éternel a rejeté et abandonné la génération de sa colère. | Cut off thy hair, [O Jerusalem], and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on the bare heights; for Jehovah hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath. | Tagliati i capelli e gettali via, e intona sulle alture un lamento, perché l'Eterno ha rigettato e abbandonato la generazione della sua ira. |
| 30 | Car les fils de Juda ont fait ce qui est mauvais à mes yeux, dit l'Éternel; ils ont mis leurs abominations dans la maison qui est appelée de mon nom, pour la rendre impure. | For the children of Judah have done that which is evil in my sight, saith Jehovah: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it. | I figli di Giuda hanno fatto ciò che è male ai miei occhi, dice l'Eterno. Hanno collocato le loro abominazioni nel tempio in cui è invocato il mio nome, per contaminarlo. |
| 31 | Et ils ont bâti les hauts lieux de Topheth, qui est dans la vallée du fils de Hinnom, pour brûler au feu leurs fils et leurs filles, ce que je n'ai point commandé et qui ne m'est point monté au coeur. | And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded not, neither came it into my mind. | Hanno edificato gli alti luoghi di Tofet, che è nella valle del figlio di Hinnom, per bruciare nel fuoco i loro figli e le loro figlie, cosa che non avevo comandato e che non mi era mai venuta in mente. |
| 32 | C'est pourquoi, voici, des jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, où l'on ne dira plus Topheth et la vallée du fils de Hinnom, mais la vallée de la tuerie; et on enterrera à Topheth, jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait plus de place. | Therefore, behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that it shall no more be called Topheth, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of Slaughter: for they shall bury in Topheth, till there be no place [to bury]. | Perciò ecco, vengono i giorni, dice l'Eterno, nei quali non si chiamerà più "Tofet" né "la Valle del figlio di Hinnom" ma "la Valle del massacro" e si seppelliranno i morti in Tofet, perché non ci sarà spazio altrove. |
| 33 | Et les cadavres de ce peuple seront en pâture aux oiseaux des cieux et aux bêtes de la terre, et il n'y aura personne qui les effraye. | And the dead bodies of this people shall be food for the birds of the heavens, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall frighten them away. | I cadaveri di questo popolo diverranno così pasto per gli uccelli del cielo e per le bestie della terra, e nessuno li spaventerà. |
| 34 | Et je ferai cesser dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem la voix de l'allégresse et la voix de la joie, la voix de l'époux et la voix de l'épouse; car le pays deviendra un désert. | Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; for the land shall become a waste. | Farò cessare nelle città di Giuda e nelle vie di Gerusalemme, le grida di allegrezza e le grida di gioia, la voce dello sposo e la voce della sposa, perché il paese diventerà una desolazione. |
