| 3 | Thou didst say, Woe is me now! for the LORD hath added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest. | Tu dis : Malheur à moi! car Jéhovah ajoute à mon chagrin la douleur; je m’épuise dans mon gémissement, et je ne trouve point le repos. | Tu dici: Guai a me, perché l'Eterno aggiunge afflizione al mio dolore, io sono stanco di gemere e non trovo riposo |
| 4 | Thus shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land. | Tu lui diras donc : Ainsi parle Jéhovah : ce que j’avais bâti, je le détruis; ce que j’avais planté, je l’arrache, et toute cette terre. | Così dirai a lui: Così dice l'Eterno: Ecco io demolirò ciò che ho edificato e sradicherò ciò che ho piantato, e questo in tutto il paese. |
| 5 | And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest. | Et toi, tu chercherais pour toi de grandes choses! Ne les cherche point; car je vais amener le malheur sur toute chair, dit Jéhovah; mais je te donnerai la vie pour butin dans tous les lieux où tu iras." | E tu cercheresti grandi cose per te? Non cercarle perché, ecco, io farò venire sciagura sopra ogni carne, dice l'Eterno, ma a te darò la tua vita come bottino in tutti i luoghi dove tu andrai. |
