| 2 | Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Vous avez vu tout le mal que j'ai fait venir sur Jérusalem et sur toutes les villes de Juda; et voici, elles sont aujourd'hui un désert, | Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein, | Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Voi avete visto tutto il male che ho fatto venire su Gerusalemme, e su tutte le città di Giuda; ecco, oggi sono una desolazione e nessuno più vi abita, |

| 4 | Et je vous ai envoyé tous mes serviteurs les prophètes, me levant de bonne heure et les envoyant, disant: Ne faites point cette chose abominable que je hais. | Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate. | Eppure io vi ho mandato tutti i miei servi, i profeti, con urgenza ed insistenza a dirvi: "Deh, non fate questa cosa abominevole che io odio". |
| 5 | Et ils n'ont pas écouté, et n'ont pas incliné leur oreille pour se détourner de leur iniquité, afin de ne pas brûler de l'encens à d'autres dieux; | But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods. | Ma essi non hanno ascoltato né hanno prestato orecchio, in modo da ritrarsi dalla loro malvagità, smettendo di bruciare incenso ad altri dèi. |
| 6 | alors ma fureur et ma colère ont été versées sur eux, et ont brûlé dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem; et elles sont devenues un désert, une désolation, comme il paraît aujourd'hui. | Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day. | Perciò il mio furore, la mia ira si sono riversati e sono divampati nelle città di Giuda e nelle vie di Gerusalemme, che sono divenute deserte e desolate, come sono ancor oggi. |
| 7 | Et maintenant, ainsi dit l'Éternel, le Dieu des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Pourquoi faites-vous un grand mal contre vos âmes, pour vous faire retrancher du milieu de Juda, homme et femme, enfant et celui qui tette, en sorte qu'il ne vous demeure aucun reste; | Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain; | Ma ora così dice l'Eterno, il DIO degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Perché commettete questo gran male contro voi stessi, facendovi sterminare di mezzo a Giuda, uomini e donne, bambini e lattanti, in modo che non rimanga di voi neppure un residuo? |
| 8 | en me provoquant par les oeuvres de vos mains, en brûlant de l'encens à d'autres dieux dans le pays d'Égypte où vous êtes venus pour y séjourner, en sorte que vous soyez retranchés, et que vous deveniez une malédiction et un opprobre parmi toutes les nations de la terre? | In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth? | Perché mi provocate ad ira con l'opera delle vostre mani, bruciando incenso ad altri dèi nel paese d'Egitto dove siete venuti a dimorare? Così vi farete sterminare e diventerete una maledizione e un obbrobrio fra tutte le nazioni della terra. |
| 9 | Avez-vous oublié les iniquités de vos pères, et les iniquités des rois de Juda, et les iniquités de leurs femmes, et vos iniquités, et les iniquités de vos femmes, commises dans le pays de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem? | Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem? | Avete forse dimenticato le malvagità dei vostri padri, le malvagità dei re di Giuda, le malvagità delle loro mogli, le vostre malvagità e le malvagità commesse dalle vostre mogli nel paese di Giuda e per le vie di Gerusalemme |
| 10 | Il ne se sont pas humiliés jusqu'à ce jour, et ils n'ont pas eu de crainte, et ils n'ont pas marché dans ma loi et dans mes statuts, que j'ai mis devant vous et devant vos pères. | They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers. | Fino ad oggi non si sono pentiti né hanno avuto timore né hanno camminato secondo la mia legge e secondo i miei statuti, che io ho posto davanti a voi e ai vostri padri. |
| 11 | C'est pourquoi, ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici, je mets ma face contre vous pour le mal, et pour retrancher tout Juda! | Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah. | Perciò così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Ecco, io volgo la mia faccia contro di voi per il vostro male e per distruggere tutto Giuda. |
| 12 | Et je prendrai le reste de Juda qui a tourné sa face pour aller dans le pays d'Égypte pour y séjourner; et ils seront tous consumés; ils tomberont dans le pays d'Égypte; ils seront consumés par l'épée et par la famine, depuis le petit jusqu'au grand; ils mourront par l'épée et par la famine, et ils seront une exécration, une désolation, et une malédiction, et un opprobre. | And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach. | Prenderò il resto di Giuda che si è ostinato a venire nel paese d'Egitto per dimorarvi; essi saranno tutti consumati e cadranno nel paese d'Egitto. | 14 | et, du reste de Juda qui est venu dans le pays d'Égypte pour y séjourner, il n'y aura ni réchappé ni résidu pour retourner dans le pays de Juda, où ils avaient le désir de retourner pour y habiter; car ils ne retourneront pas, sauf quelques réchappés. | So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape. | Non si salverà né scamperà nessuno del resto di Giuda, che è venuto a dimorare nel paese d'Egitto, per ritornare poi nel paese di Giuda, dove essi desiderano ardentemente ritornare per dimorarvi; ma essi non vi ritorneranno ad eccezione di alcuni scampati, |
| 15 | Et tous les hommes qui savaient que leurs femmes brûlaient de l'encens à d'autres dieux, et toutes les femmes qui se tenaient là, un grand rassemblement, et tout le peuple qui demeurait dans le pays d'Égypte, à Pathros, répondirent à Jérémie, disant: | Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, | Allora tutti gli uomini che sapevano che le loro mogli bruciavano incenso ad altri dèi e tutte le donne che erano presenti, una grande moltitudine, e tutto il popolo che dimorava nel paese d'Egitto in Pathros, risposero a Geremia, dicendo: |
| 16 | Quant à la parole que tu nous as dite au nom de l'Éternel, nous ne t'écouterons pas; | As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. | Quanto alla parola che ci hai detto nel nome dell'Eterno, non ti ascolteremo, |
| 17 | mais nous ferons certainement toute parole qui est sortie de notre bouche, en brûlant de l'encens à la reine des cieux, et en lui faisant des libations, comme nous avons fait, nous et nos pères, nos rois et nos princes, dans les villes de Juda, et dans les rues de Jérusalem; et nous étions rassasiés de pain, et nous étions à notre aise, et nous ne voyions pas de malheur. | But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. | ma intendiamo fare tutto ciò che è uscito dalla nostra bocca, bruciando incenso alla Regina del cielo e versandole libazioni, come abbiamo fatto noi, i nostri padri, i nostri re e i nostri principi nelle città di Giuda e per le vie di Gerusalemme, perché allora avevamo pane in abbondanza, stavamo bene e non vedevamo alcuna sventura. |
| 18 | Mais depuis que nous avons cessé de brûler de l'encens à la reine des cieux et de lui faire des libations, nous manquons de tout, et nous sommes consumés par l'épée et par la famine. | But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine. | Da quando però abbiamo cessato di bruciare incenso alla Regina del cielo e versarle libazioni, ci è venuto a mancare ogni cosa e siamo stati consumati dalla spada e dalla fame. |
| 19 | Et si nous avons brûlé de l'encens à la reine des cieux, et si nous lui avons fait des libations, est-ce sans nos maris que nous lui avons fait des gâteaux à son image, ou que nous lui avons fait des libations? | And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men? | Le donne aggiunsero: Quando bruciamo incenso alla Regina del cielo e le versiamo libazioni, è forse senza il consenso dei nostri mariti che le facciamo focacce con la sua immagine e le versiamo libazioni?. |
| 20 | Et Jérémie parla à tout le peuple, aux hommes et aux femmes, et à tout le peuple qui lui avait répondu cette parole, disant: | Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying, | Allora Geremia parlò a tutto il popolo, agli uomini, alle donne e a tutta la gente che gli aveva risposto in quel modo e disse: |
| 21 | Ne sont-ce pas ces encensements que vous avez faits dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem, vous et vos pères, vos rois et vos princes et le peuple du pays, que l'Éternel s'est rappelés, et qui lui sont montés au coeur? | The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not into his mind? | Non si è forse l'Eterno ricordato e non gli è venuto in mente l'incenso che avete bruciato nelle città di Giuda e per le vie di Gerusalemme, voi, i vostri padri, i vostri re, i vostri principi e il popolo del paese? |
| 22 | Et l'Éternel ne put plus le supporter, à cause de l'iniquité de vos actions, et à cause des choses abominables que vous avez faites, et votre pays est devenu un désert, et une désolation, et une malédiction, de sorte qu'il n'y a pas d'habitant, comme il paraît aujourd'hui. | So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day. | L'Eterno non l'ha più potuto sopportare, a motivo della malvagità delle vostre azioni e a motivo delle abominazioni che avete commesso. Perciò il vostro paese è divenuto una desolazione un oggetto di stupore, una maledizione e senza alcun abitante, come è ancora oggi. |
| 23 | Parce que vous avez brûlé de l'encens, et que vous avez péché contre l'Éternel, et que vous n'avez pas écouté la voix de l'Éternel, et n'avez point marché dans sa loi, ni dans ses statuts, ni dans ses témoignages, à cause de cela ce mal vous est arrivé, comme il paraît aujourd'hui. | Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day. | Poiché voi avete bruciato incenso e poiché avete peccato contro l'Eterno e non avete ascoltato la voce dell'Eterno e non avete camminato secondo la sua legge, i suoi statuti e i suoi precetti, perciò vi è venuta addosso questa calamità, come oggi si vede. |
| 24 | Et Jérémie dit à tout le peuple et à toutes les femmes: Écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, vous, tout Juda, qui êtes dans le pays d'Égypte: | Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt: | Poi Geremia disse a tutto il popolo e a tutte le donne: Ascoltate la parola dell'Eterno, o voi tutti di Giuda, che siete nel paese d'Egitto. |
| 25 | Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël, disant: Vous et vos femmes, vous avez parlé de votre bouche, et vous avez accompli de vos mains, disant: Certainement nous accomplirons nos voeux que nous avons voués, pour brûler de l'encens à la reine des cieux et lui faire des libations. Vous ferez certainement selon vos voeux, et vous accomplirez certainement vos voeux. | Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows. | Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Voi e le vostre mogli lo avete detto con la vostra bocca e lo avete compiuto con le vostre mani, dicendo: "Noi vogliamo adempiere i voti che abbiamo fatto, bruciando incenso alla Regina del cielo, e versandole libazioni". Sì, voi adempirete certamente i vostri voti e compirete i vostri voti. |
| 26 | C'est pourquoi, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, vous, tout Juda, qui habitez dans le pays d'Égypte: Voici, j'ai juré par mon grand nom, dit l'Éternel, que mon nom ne sera plus réclamé par la bouche d'aucun homme de Juda, dans tout le pays d'Égypte, disant: Le Seigneur, l'Éternel, est vivant! | Therefore hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth. | Perciò ascoltate la parola dell'Eterno, o voi tutti di Giuda che dimorate nel paese d'Egitto: Ecco, io l'ho giurato per il mio grande nome, dice l'Eterno, che in tutto il paese d'Egitto il mio nome non sarà più invocato dalla bocca di alcun uomo di Giuda che dica: Il Signore, l'Eterno, vive! |
| 27 | Voici, je veille sur eux pour le mal, et non pour le bien; et ils seront consumés, chaque homme de Juda qui est dans le pays d'Égypte, par l'épée et par la famine, jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y en ait plus. | Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them. | Ecco, io vigilo su di loro per il loro male e non per il loro bene; e tutti gli uomini di Giuda che sono nel paese d'Egitto saranno consumati dalla spada e dalla fame, fino alla loro completa distruzione. |
| 28 | Et ceux qui échapperont à l'épée retourneront du pays d'Égypte dans le pays de Juda, un fort petit nombre; et ils sauront, tout ce reste de Juda, ceux qui sont venus dans le pays d'Égypte pour y séjourner, de qui, de moi ou d'eux, la parole s'accomplira. | Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or their's. | Tuttavia un piccolo numero di scampati dalla spada ritornerà dal paese d'Egitto nel paese di Giuda. Così tutto il resto di Giuda, che è venuto nel paese d'Egitto per dimorarvi, saprà quale parola si compirà, se la mia o la loro. |
| 29 | Et ceci sera pour vous le signe, dit l'Éternel, que je vous punirai dans ce lieu, afin que vous sachiez que mes paroles s'effectueront certainement contre vous en mal. | And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil: | E questo sarà per voi il segno, dice l'Eterno, che io vi punirò in questo luogo affinché sappiate che le mie parole contro di voi si compiranno veramente per vostra sciagura. Così dice l'Eterno: |
| 30 | Ainsi dit l'Éternel: Voici, je livre le Pharaon Hophra, roi d'Égypte, en la main de ses ennemis et en la main de ceux qui cherchent sa vie, comme j'ai livré Sédécias, roi de Juda, en la main de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, son ennemi, celui qui cherchait sa vie. | Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life. | Ecco, io darò il Faraone Hofra, re d'Egitto, in mano dei suoi nemici, in mano di quelli che cercano la sua vita, come ho dato Sedekia, re di Giuda, in mano di Nebukadnetsar, re di Babilonia, suo nemico, che cercava la sua vita. |
