| 2 | s'approchèrent et dirent à Jérémie le prophète: Que notre supplication soit reçue devant toi, et prie l'Éternel, ton Dieu, pour nous, pour tout ce reste; car, de beaucoup que nous étions, nous sommes restés peu, selon que tes yeux nous voient; | and said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we pray thee, our supplication be presented before thee, and pray for us unto Jehovah thy God, even for all this remnant; for we are left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us: | e dissero al profeta Geremia: Deh, giunga la nostra supplica davanti a te e prega l'Eterno, il tuo DIO per noi, per tutto questo residuo (perché di molti che eravamo siamo rimasti in pochi, come ti rendi conto con i tuoi stessi occhi), |

| 4 | Et Jérémie le prophète, leur dit: J'ai entendu; voici, je prierai l'Éternel, votre Dieu, selon vos paroles; et il arrivera que, tout ce que l'Éternel vous répondra, je vous les déclarerai: je ne vous cacherai rien. | Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto Jehovah your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass that whatsoever thing Jehovah shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you. | Il profeta Geremia disse loro: Ho capito! | 5 | Et ils dirent à Jérémie: L'Éternel soit entre nous un témoin véritable et fidèle, si nous ne faisons selon toute la parole pour laquelle l'Éternel, ton Dieu, t'enverra vers nous! | Then they said to Jeremiah, Jehovah be a true and faithful witness amongst us, if we do not according to all the word wherewith Jehovah thy God shall send thee to us. | Essi allora dissero a Geremia: L'Eterno sia un testimone verace e fedele contro di noi, se non faremo secondo ogni parola che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO ci manderà a dire per tuo mezzo. |

| 9 | et leur dit: Ainsi dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, vers qui vous m'avez envoyé pour présenter votre supplication devant lui: | and said unto them, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, unto whom ye sent me to present your supplication before him: | e disse loro: Così dice l'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele, al quale mi avete mandato perché gli presentassi la vostra supplica: |
| 10 | Si vous continuez à habiter dans ce pays, je vous bâtirai, et je ne vous renverserai pas, et je vous planterai, et je ne vous arracherai pas; car je me repens du mal que je vous ai fait. | If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up; for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you. | "Se continuate a rimanere in questo paese, io vi stabilirò e non vi distruggerò, vi pianterò e non vi sradicherò, perché mi pento della calamità che ho fatto venire su di voi. |
| 11 | Ne craignez point le roi de Babylone, dont vous avez peur; ne le craignez pas, dit l'Éternel; car je suis avec vous pour vous sauver et pour vous délivrer de sa main; | Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith Jehovah: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. | Non temete il re di Babilonia, di cui avete paura; non temetelo dice l'Eterno, perché io sono con voi per salvarvi e per liberarvi dalla sua mano. |

| 14 | Non, mais nous irons dans le pays d'Égypte, où nous ne verrons pas la guerre, et où nous n'entendrons pas le son de la trompette, et où nous n'aurons pas disette de pain; et nous habiterons là;... | saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell: | e dite: "No, vogliamo andare nel paese d'Egitto, dove non vedremo la guerra né udremo squillo di tromba né soffriremo più fame di pane, e là dimoreremo", |
| 15 | et maintenant, à cause de cela, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, vous, le reste de Juda: Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Si vous tournez vos faces pour aller en Égypte, et que vous y alliez pour y demeurer, | now therefore hear ye the word of Jehovah, O remnant of Judah: Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, If ye indeed set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there; | ebbene, ascolta allora la parola dell'Eterno, o residuo di Giuda! Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: "Se avete veramente deciso di andare in Egitto e vi andate per stabilirvi, |
| 16 | il arrivera que l'épée dont vous avez peur vous atteindra là, dans le pays d'Égypte, et la famine que vous craignez vous suivra de près, là, en Égypte, et vous y mourrez. | then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye fear, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt; and the famine, whereof ye are afraid, shall follow hard after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. | la spada che temete vi raggiungerà là, nel paese d'Egitto, e la fame di cui avevate paura vi si attaccherà addosso là in Egitto e là morirete. |
| 17 | Et il arrivera que tous les hommes qui auront tourné leur face pour aller en Égypte afin d'y séjourner, mourront par l'épée, par la famine, et par la peste; et il n'y aura pour eux ni reste ni réchappé de devant le mal que je fais venir sur eux. | So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there: they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence; and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them. | Avverrà dunque che tutti quelli che hanno deciso di andare in Egitto per dimorarvi moriranno di spada, di fame o di peste. Nessuno di loro scamperà o sfuggirà alla sventura che io farò venire su di loro". |
| 18 | Car ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Comme ma colère et ma fureur ont été versées sur les habitants de Jérusalem, ainsi ma fureur sera versée sur vous si vous allez en Égypte; et vous serez une exécration, et une désolation, et une malédiction, et un opprobre; et vous ne verrez plus ce lieu. | For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: As mine anger and my wrath hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so shall my wrath be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt; and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more. | Poiché così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: "Come la mia ira e il mio furore si sono riversati sugli abitanti di Gerusalemme, così il mio furore si riverserà su di voi, quando entrerete in Egitto, e voi diventerete un oggetto di esecrazione, di stupore, di maledizione e di obbrobrio e non vedrete più questo luogo". |

Sachez certainement que je vous ai avertis aujourd'hui; | Jehovah hath spoken concerning you, O remnant of Judah, Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have testified unto you this day. | O residuo di Giuda, l'Eterno vi dice: "Non andate in Egitto!" Sappiate bene che oggi vi ho solennemente avvertiti. |
| 20 | car vous vous êtes séduits vous-mêmes dans vos âmes quand vous m'avez envoyé vers l'Éternel, votre Dieu, disant: Prie l'Éternel, notre Dieu, pour nous, et selon tout ce que l'Éternel, notre Dieu, dira, ainsi déclare-nous, et nous le ferons. | For ye have dealt deceitfully against your own souls; for ye sent me unto Jehovah your God, saying, Pray for us unto Jehovah our God; and according unto all that Jehovah our God shall say, so declare unto us, and we will do it: | Voi avete usato inganno contro voi stessi, quando mi avete mandato dall'Eterno, il vostro DIO, dicendo: "Prega per noi l'Eterno, il nostro DIO, e tutto ciò che dirà l'Eterno, il nostro DIO, fallo sapere a noi fedelmente, e noi lo faremo". |
| 21 | Et je vous l'ai déclaré aujourd'hui; et vous n'avez pas écouté la voix de l'Éternel, votre Dieu, ni tout ce avec quoi il m'a envoyé vers vous. | and I have this day declared it to you; but ye have not obeyed the voice of Jehovah your God in anything for which he hath sent me unto you. | Io ve l'ho fatto sapere oggi, ma voi non ubbidite alla voce dell'Eterno, il vostro DIO, né a nulla di ciò che vi ha mandato a dire per mezzo di me. |
| 22 | Et maintenant, sachez certainement que vous mourrez par l'épée, par la famine, et par la peste, dans le lieu où vous avez désiré d'aller pour y séjourner. | Now therefore know certainly that ye shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place whither ye desire to go to sojourn there. | Or dunque sappiate bene che voi morirete di spada, di fame e di peste, nel luogo in cui desiderate andare a dimorare. |
