| 2 | Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink. | Va vers la famille des Réchabites, et parle-leur. | 4 | And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door: | et je les fis entrer dans la maison de Jéhovah, dans la chambre des fils de Hanan, fils de Jegdélias, homme de Dieu, près de la chambre des chefs, et au-dessus de la chambre de Maasias, fils de Sellum, garde du seuil. | e li condussi nella casa dell'Eterno, nella camera dei figli di Hanan, figlio di Igdaliah, uomo di DIO, la quale si trovava vicino alla camera dei principi sopra la camera di Maaseiah, figlio di Shallum, guardiano della porta. |

| 7 | Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers. | vous ne bâtirez point de maisons, vous ne ferez point de semailles; vous ne planterez point de vignes et vous n'en posséderez point; mais vous habiterez sous des tentes dans la suite de vos jours, afin que vous viviez longtemps sur la terre où vous êtes comme des étrangers. | Non costruirete case, non seminerete alcuna semente, non pianterete vigne e non ne possederete alcuna, ma abiterete in tende tutti i giorni della vostra vita affinché viviate lungamente nel paese dove risiedete". |
| 8 | Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters; | Nous avons donc obéi à Jonadab, fils de Réchab, notre père, en tout ce qu'il nous a commandé, en sorte que nous ne buvons jamais de vin, ni nous, ni nos femmes, ni nos fils, ni nos filles; | Così noi abbiamo ubbidito alla voce di Jehonadab, figlio di Rekab, nostro padre, in tutto ciò che ci ha comandato: di non bere vino per tutta la nostra vita tanto noi che le nostre mogli, i nostri figli e le nostre figlie; |
| 9 | Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed: | nous ne bâtissons pas de maisons pour y demeurer; nous n'avons ni vignes, ni champs, ni terres ensemencées, | di non costruire case per abitarvi e di non avere né vigna né campo né semente. |
| 10 | But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us. | et nous habitons sous des tentes; nous avons obéi et fait tout ce que Jonadab, notre père, nous a commandé. | Ma abitiamo in tende e abbiamo ubbidito e fatto tutto ciò che Jehonadab nostro padre, ci ha comandato. |
| 11 | But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem. | Mais quand Nabuchodonosor, roi de Babylone, est monté contre ce pays, nous avons dit : Venez et retirons-nous à Jérusalem, loin de l’armée des Chaldéens et de l'armée de Syrie, et nous avons demeuré dans Jérusalem." | Ma avvenne che, quando Nebukadnetsar, re di Babilonia, è salito contro il paese, abbiamo detto: "Venite e andiamo a Gerusalemme, per paura dell'esercito dei Caldei e dell'esercito di Siria". | 13 | Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD. | Ainsi parle Jéhovah des armées, Dieu d'Israël : Va, et dis aux hommes de Juda et aux habitants de Jérusalem : N'apprendrez-vous point à écouter mes paroles ? dit Jéhovah. | Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Va' e di' agli uomini di Giuda e agli abitanti di Gerusalemme: Non volete dunque ricevere ammaestramento, ascoltando le mie parole?. dice l'Eterno. |
| 14 | The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father's commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me. | On a observé le commandement que Jonadab, fils de Réchab, a donné à ses fils de ne pas boire de vin, et ils n'ont pas bu jusqu'à : ce jour, par obéissance à l'ordre de leur père; et moi, je vous ai parlé, parlé dès le matin, et vous ne m'avez pas écouté! | Le parole di Jehonadab, figlio di Rekab, che comandò ai suoi figli di non bere vino, sono state messe in pratica; così essi non hanno bevuto vino fino a quest'oggi, perché hanno ubbidito al comando del loro padre. Ma, sebbene io vi ho parlato con urgenza ed insistenza, voi non mi avete ascoltato. |
| 15 | I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me. | Je vous ai envoyé tous mes serviteurs, les prophètes, les envoyant dès le matin, pour vous dire : Que chacun de vous revienne de sa mauvaise voie, amendez votre conduite, n'allez pas auprès d'autres dieux pour les servir, et vous habiterez le pays que j'ai donné à vos pères; mais vous n'avez pas prêté l'oreille et vous ne m'avez pas écouté. | Vi ho anche mandato con urgenza ed insistenza i miei servi, i profeti, dicendovi: li ritragga dunque ciascuno dalla sua via malvagia, emendate le vostre azioni e non andate dietro ad altri dèi per servirli; allora abiterete nel paese che ho dato a voi e ai vostri padri". Ma voi non avete prestato orecchio né mi avete ubbidito. |
| 16 | Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people hath not hearkened unto me: | Oui, les fils de Jonadab, fils de Réchab, ont observé le commandement que leur a donné leur père, et ce peuple ne m'écoute pas! | Sì, i figli di Jehonadab, figlio di Rekab, hanno messo in pratica il comando dato loro dal padre, ma questo popolo non mi ha ubbidito. |
| 17 | Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered. | C'est pourquoi Jéhovah, Dieu des armées, Dieu d'Israël, parle ainsi : Je vais faire venir sur Juda et sur tous les habitants de Jérusalem tous les maux dont je les ai menacés, parce que je leur ai parlé, et ils ne m'ont pas écouté; je les ai appelés, et ils ne m'ont pas répondu. | Perciò così dice l'Eterno, il DIO degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Ecco, io faccio venire su Giuda e su tutti gli abitanti di Gerusalemme tutto il male che ho pronunciato contro di loro, perché ho parlato loro, ma non hanno ascoltato, li ho chiamati, ma non hanno risposto. |
| 18 | And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath commanded you: | Et quant à la famille des Réchabites, Jérémie leur dit : "Ainsi, parle Jéhovah des armées, Dieu d'Israël : Parce que vous avez obéi aux ordres de Jonadab, votre père, et que vous avez gardé tous ses commandements et avez fait tout ce qu'il vous a prescrit, | E alla casa dei Rekabiti Geremia disse: Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Poiché avete ubbidito all'ordine di Jehonadab, vostro padre, avete osservato tutti i suoi precetti e avete fatto tutto ciò che vi aveva prescritto, |
| 19 | Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever. | à cause de cela, Jéhovah des armées, Dieu d'Israël, parle ainsi : Jonadab; fils de Réchab, ne manquera. jamais de descendants qui subsisteront en ma présence." | così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: A Jehonadab, figlio di Rekab, non verrà mai a mandare qualcuno che stia sempre davanti a me. |
