| 9 | Et ce sera pour moi un nom d'allégresse, une louange et un ornement parmi toutes les nations de la terre, qui apprendront toute la bonté dont j'ai usé envers eux; et ils craindront et trembleront à cause de tout le bien et à cause de toute la prospérité dont je les ferai jouir. | And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. | E questa città sarà per me un titolo di gioia, di lode e di gloria davanti a tutte le nazioni della terra, quando verranno a sapere di tutto il bene che io faccio loro; e temeranno e tremeranno a motivo di tutto il bene e di tutta la pace che io procurerò a lei. |
| 10 | Ainsi dit l'Éternel: Dans ce lieu-ci dont vous dites: C'est un désert où il n'y a pas d'homme et où il n'y a pas de bête, dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem, qui sont désolées, où il n'y a pas d'homme, et où il n'y a pas d'habitant, et où il n'y a pas de bête, | Thus saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast, | Così dice l'Eterno: In questo luogo, di cui voi dite: E' una desolazione, senza più uomo o bestia nelle città di Giuda e per le vie di Gerusalemme che sono desolate, senza più né uomo né abitante né bestia, si udranno ancora |
| 11 | on entendra encore la voix de l'allégresse et la voix de la joie, la voix de l'époux et la voix de l'épouse, la voix de ceux qui disent: Célébrez l'Éternel des armées, car l'Éternel est bon, car sa bonté demeure à toujours, - des gens qui apportent des actions de grâce à la maison de l'Éternel. Car je délivrerai le pays de sa captivité, et je le rétablirai comme il était au commencement, dit l'Éternel. | The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD. | grida di gioia e grida di allegrezza, la voce dello sposo e la voce della sposa, la voce di quelli che dicono: Celebrate l'Eterno degli eserciti, poiché l'Eterno è buono, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno e di quelli che portano offerte di ringraziamento nella casa dell'Eterno. | 12 | Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées: Dans ce lieu qui est désert, où il n'y a ni homme ni bête, et dans toutes ses villes, il y aura encore une demeure de bergers qui y feront reposer leur menu bétail; | Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down. | Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti: In questo luogo che è una desolazione, senza più uomo o bestia, e in tutte le sue città vi saranno ancora delle dimore di pastori che faranno riposare le loro greggi. |
| 13 | dans les villes de la montagne, dans les villes du pays plat, et dans les villes du midi, et dans le pays de Benjamin, et dans les environs de Jérusalem, et dans les villes de Juda, le menu bétail passera encore sous les mains de celui qui le compte, dit l'Éternel. | In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that telleth them, saith the LORD. | Nelle città della regione montuosa nelle città della pianura, nelle città dei Neghev, nel paese di Beniamino, nei dintorni di Gerusalemme e nelle città di Giuda, le pecore passeranno ancora sotto la mano di colui che le conta, dice l'Eterno. |

| 17 | Car ainsi dit l'Éternel: David ne manquera pas d'un homme assis sur le trône de la maison d'Israël; | For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; | Infatti così dice l'Eterno: Non verrà mai meno a Davide chi segga sul trono della casa d'Israele, |
| 18 | et les sacrificateurs, les Lévites, ne manqueront pas, devant moi, d'un homme offrant des holocaustes, et faisant fumer des offrandes de gâteau, et faisant des sacrifices, tous les jours. | Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually. | e ai sacerdoti Leviti non verrà mai meno davanti a me chi offra olocausti, faccia fumare le offerte di cibo e compia sacrifici tutti i giorni. |

| 20 | Ainsi dit l'Éternel: Quand vous romprez mon alliance touchant le jour, et mon alliance touchant la nuit, de sorte qu'il n'y ait pas de jour et de nuit en leur temps, | Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; | Così dice l'Eterno: Se voi potete annullare il mio patto con il giorno e il patto con la notte, in modo che non ci sia più giorno o notte al loro tempo, |
| 21 | alors aussi mon alliance avec David, mon serviteur, sera rompue, de sorte qu'il n'ait pas de fils régnant sur son trône, - et avec les Lévites, les sacrificateurs, qui me servent. | Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers. | allora si potrà anche annullare il mio patto con Davide mio servo, in modo che non abbia un figlio che regni sul suo trono, e con i sacerdoti Leviti, miei ministri. |
| 22 | Comme l'armée des cieux ne peut se nombrer, ni le sable de la mer se mesurer, ainsi je multiplierai la semence de David, mon serviteur, et les Lévites qui me servent. | As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me. | Come non si può contare l'esercito del cielo né misurare la sabbia del mare, così io moltiplicherò i discendenti di Davide, mio servo, e i Leviti che mi servono. |
| 23 | Et la parole de l'Éternel vint à Jérémie, disant: | Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying, | La parola dell'Eterno fu ancora rivolta a Geremia, dicendo: |
| 24 | N'as-tu pas vu ce que ce peuple a dit, disant: Les deux familles que l'Éternel avait choisies, il les a aussi rejetées?... Et ils ont méprisé mon peuple de manière à ce que, devant eux, il ne soit plus une nation. | Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them. | Non hai fatto attenzione a ciò che questo popolo ha affermato, dicendo: "Le due famiglie che l'Eterno aveva scelto, le ha rigettate"? Così disprezzano il mio popolo, che ai loro occhi non è più una nazione. |
| 25 | Ainsi dit l'Éternel: Si mon alliance touchant le jour et la nuit ne demeure pas, si je n'ai pas établi les ordonnances des cieux et de la terre, | Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; | Così dice l'Eterno: Se io non ho stabilito il mio patto con il giorno e con la notte e se non ho fissato le leggi del cielo e della terra, |
| 26 | alors aussi je rejetterai la semence de Jacob et de David, mon serviteur, pour ne pas prendre de sa semence ceux qui domineront sur la semence d'Abraham, d'Isaac et de Jacob, car je rétablirai leurs captifs, et j'aurai compassion d'eux. | Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them. | allora rigetterò anche la discendenza di Giacobbe e di Davide, mio servo, e non prenderò più dalla sua discendenza i reggitori della progenie di Abrahamo di Isacco e di Giacobbe. Ma io farò ritornare i loro esuli e avrò compassione di loro. |
