| 3 | For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. | Car des jours viennent, dit Jéhovah, où je ramènerai les captifs de mon peuple d’Israël et de Juda, et je le ferai rentrer dans le pays que j’ai donné à leurs pères, et ils le posséderont. | perché, ecco, i giorni vengono, dice l'Eterno, nei quali io farò ritornare dalla cattività il mio popolo d'Israele e di Giuda, dice l'Eterno, e li ricondurrò nel paese che diedi ai loro padri, ed essi lo possederanno. |

| 5 | For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. | Ainsi parle Jéhovah : Nous avons entendu un cri de terreur : C’est l'épouvante, - et il n'y a point de paix! | Così dice l'Eterno: Noi abbiamo udito un grido di terrore, di spavento e non di pace. |
| 6 | Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? | Demandez et regardez si un mâle enfante. Pourquoi vois-je tous les hommes avec les mains sur leurs reins, Comme la femme en travail, Et pourquoi tous les visages sont-ils devenus livides ? | Informatevi e vedete se un maschio può partorire. | 7 | Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. | Malheur! car grande est cette journée; Elle n’a pas sa pareille. | 8 | For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: | En ce jour-là, dit Jéhovah des armées, Je briserai son joug de dessus ton cou, Et je romprai tes liens; Les étrangers ne t'asserviront plus. | In quel giorno avverrà, dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, che io spezzerò il suo giogo dal tuo collo e romperò i tuoi legami; gli stranieri non ti faranno più loro schiavo. |
| 9 | But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them. | Mais ils seront assujettis à Jéhovah leur Dieu, Et à David leur roi, Que je susciterai pour eux. | Ma quei d'Israele serviranno l'Eterno, il loro DIO, e Davide, loro re, che io susciterò per loro. |
| 10 | Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid. | Toi donc ne crains point, mon serviteur Jacob; Ne t'effraie point, Israël. Car je vais te tirer de la terre lointaine, Et ta postérité du pays de son exil; Jacob reviendra, il sera tranquille, en sécurité, Et personne, ne lui causera d’épouvante. | Tu dunque, o mio servo Giacobbe, non temere, dice l'Eterno; non spaventarti o Israele, perché, ecco, io ti salverò dal lontano paese e la tua discendenza dal paese della sua cattività. Giacobbe ritornerà, avrà riposo, starà tranquillo e nessuno più lo spaventerà. |
| 11 | For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished. | Car je suis avec toi; dit Jéhovah, pour te sauver, Je ferai une extermination de toutes les nations Parmi lesquelles je t'ai dispersé; Mais je ne t'exterminerai pas. Je te châtierai selon la justice, Et je ne te laisserai impuni. | Poiché io sono con te, dice l'Eterno, per salvarti. Io sterminerò tutte le nazioni in mezzo alle quali ti ho disperso; tuttavia non sterminerò te, ma ti castigherò con giustizia e non ti lascerò del tutto impunito. |
| 12 | For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous. | Car ainsi parle Jéhovah : Ta blessure est grave, Ta plaie est douloureuse; | Così dice l'Eterno: Il tuo male è incurabile, la tua ferita è grave. |
| 13 | There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines. | Personne qui plaide ta cause pour qu'on te panse, Il n’y a pour toi ni remède, ni guérison. | Nessuno difende la tua causa; così non c'è nessuna medicina per la tua ferita né guarigione per te. |
| 14 | All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased. | Tous tes amants t'ont oubliée; Ils ne se soucient point de toi, Car je t'ai frappée comme on frappe un ennemi, D'un châtiment cruel, A cause de la multitude de tes iniquités, Parce que tes péchés se sont accrus. | Tutti i tuoi amanti ti hanno dimenticata, non si prendono cura di te, perché ti ho colpito con percossa da nemico, con un castigo di uno crudele, per la grandezza della tua iniquità, per la moltitudine dei tuoi peccati. |
| 15 | Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee. | Pourquoi crier à cause de ta blessure, De ce que ton mal est sans remède ? C'est à cause de la multitude de tes iniquités, De la grandeur de tes péchés que je t'ai fait ces choses. | Perché gridi a causa del tuo male? Il tuo dolore è insanabile. Io ti ho fatto queste cose per la grandezza della tua iniquità, per la moltitudine dei tuoi peccati. |
| 16 | Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey. | C'est pourquoi tous ceux qui te dévorent seront dévorés, - Tous tes oppresseurs iront en captivité; Ceux qui te dépouillent seront dépouillés, Et je livrerai au pillage tous ceux qui te pillent. | Ma tutti quelli che ti divorano saranno divorati, tutti i tuoi nemici, tutti quanti, andranno in cattività; quelli che ti saccheggiano saranno abbandonati al saccheggio e i tuoi depredatori li lascerò essere depredati. |
| 17 | For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after. | Car je te panserai tes plaies et je les guérirai, dit Jéhovah, Puisqu'on t'appelle "la repoussée, "La Sion dont nul ne prend souci. | Sì, io ti ridarò salute e ti guarirò dalle tue ferite, dice l'Eterno, perché ti chiamano "La scacciata" dicendo: "Questa è Sion di cui nessuno si prende cura". |
| 18 | Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof. | Ainsi parle Jéhovah : Je vais rétablir les tentes de Jacob Et j'aurai compassion de leurs demeures; Les villes seront rebâties sur leur colline Et les palais assis à leur place. | Così dice l'Eterno: Ecco, io farò ritornare dalla cattività le tende di Giacobbe e avrò pietà delle sue dimore; la città sarà ricostruita sulle sue rovine e il palazzo sarà stabilito nel suo giusto posto. |
| 19 | And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small. | Il en sortira des chants de louange Et des cris d'allégresse. Je les multiplierai, et ils ne seront plus en petit nombre; Je les glorifierai, et ils ne seront plus méprisés. | Usciranno da essi canti di ringraziamento e voci di gente in festa; li farò moltiplicare e non diminuire, li renderò onorati e non saranno più umiliati. |
| 20 | Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them. | Ses fils seront comme autrefois; Son assemblée sera affermie devant moi, Et je châtierai tous ses oppresseurs. | I suoi figli saranno come una volta e la sua assemblea sarà resa stabile davanti a me, ma punirò tutti i loro oppressori. |
| 21 | And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD. | Son chef sera un des siens, Et son dominateur sortira de son sein; Je le ferai venir et il s'approchera de moi; Car quel est l'homme qui disposerait son coeur De manière à s'approcher de moi ? dit Jéhovah. | Il suo principe sarà uno di essi, e il suo dominatore uscirà di mezzo a loro; io lo farò avvicinare ed egli si accosterà a me. Chi infatti disporrebbe il suo cuore per avvicinarsi a me?, dice l'Eterno. |
| 22 | And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. | Et vous serez mon peuple, et je serai votre Dieu. | Voi sarete il mio popolo, e io sarò il vostro Dio, |
| 23 | Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. | Voici la tempête de Jéhovah; La fureur éclate; l'orage se précipite, Il fond sur la tête des impies. | Ecco la tempesta dell'Eterno si scatena furiosa, una tempesta travolgente cadrà violentemente sul capo degli empi. |
| 24 | The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he hath done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it. | Le feu de la colère de Jéhovah ne cessera pas, Qu'il n'ait agi et qu'il n'ait exécuté les desseins de son coeur; Vous le comprendrez à la fin des temps. | L'ardente ira dell'Eterno non si acquieterà, finché non abbia compiuto e finché non abbia realizzato i disegni del suo cuore. Negli ultimi giorni lo capirete. |
