| 8 | Car ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Que vos prophètes qui sont au milieu de vous, et vos devins, ne vous séduisent point, et n'écoutez pas vos songes que vous vous plaisez à songer; | For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. | Così dice infatti l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Non vi traggano in inganno i vostri profeti e i vostri indovini che sono in mezzo a voi, e non date retta ai sogni che fate. |
| 9 | car c'est avec mensonge qu'ils vous prophétisent en mon nom; je ne les ai pas envoyés, dit l'Éternel. | For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD. | Poiché vi profetizzano falsamente nel mio nome; io non li ho mandati, dice l'Eterno. |
| 10 | Car ainsi dit l'Éternel: Lorsque soixante-dix ans seront accomplis pour Babylone, je vous visiterai, et j'accomplirai envers vous ma bonne parole, pour vous faire revenir en ce lieu. | For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. | Così dice l'Eterno: Quando saranno compiuti settant'anni per Babilonia, io vi visiterò e manderò ad effetto per voi la mia buona parola, facendovi ritornare in questo luogo. |
| 11 | Car moi je connais les pensées que je pense à votre égard, dit l'Éternel, pensées de paix et non de mal, pour vous donner un avenir et une espérance. | For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. | Poiché io conosco i pensieri che ho per voi, dice l'Eterno, pensieri di pace e non di male, per darvi un futuro e una speranza. |

| 14 | et je me ferai trouver à vous, dit l'Éternel; et je rétablirai vos captifs, et je vous rassemblerai d'entre toutes les nations et de tous les lieux où je vous aurai chassés, dit l'Éternel, et je vous ferai retourner au lieu d'où je vous ai transportés. | And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive. | Io mi farò trovare da voi, dice l'Eterno, e vi farò tornare dalla vostra cattività; vi raccoglierò da tutte le nazioni e da tutti i luoghi dove vi ho dispersi, dice l'Eterno; e vi ricondurrò nel luogo da cui vi ho fatto condurre in cattività. |

| 16 | Oui, ainsi dit l'Éternel touchant le roi qui est assis sur le trône de David, et touchant tout le peuple qui habite dans cette ville, vos frères qui ne sont pas allés avec vous en captivité; | Know that thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity; | così dice l'Eterno riguardo al re che siede sul trono di Davide, riguardo a tutto il popolo che abita in questa città, ai vostri fratelli che non sono andati con voi in cattività; |
| 17 | -ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées: Voici, j'envoie contre eux l'épée, la famine, et la peste, et je les ferai devenir comme ces figues affreuses qu'on ne peut manger tant elles sont mauvaises. | Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. | sì, così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti: Ecco, io manderò contro di loro la spada, la fame e la peste, e li renderò come fichi nauseanti che non si possono mangiare, tanto sono cattivi. |
| 18 | Et je les poursuivrai avec l'épée, avec la famine, et avec la peste; et je les livrerai pour être chassés çà et là par tous les royaumes de la terre, - et à l'exécration, et à la désolation, et au sifflement, et à l'opprobre, dans toutes les nations où je les chasserai; | And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them: | Li inseguirò con la spada, con la fame e con la peste; li farò essere maltrattati in tutti i regni della terra ed essere una maledizione, un oggetto di stupore, uno scherno e un obbrobrio in mezzo a tutte le nazioni dove li ho dispersi, |
| 19 | parce que, dit l'Éternel, ils n'ont point écouté mes paroles quand je leur ai envoyé mes serviteurs les prophètes, me levant de bonne heure et les envoyant; et vous n'avez point écouté, dit l'Éternel. | Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD. | perché non hanno ascoltato le mie parole, dice l'Eterno, che io ho mandato loro per mezzo dei miei servi, i profeti, con urgenza ed insistenza; ma voi non avete dato ascolto, dice l'Eterno. |
| 20 | Mais vous, tous les captifs que j'ai renvoyés de Jérusalem à Babylone, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel! | Hear ye therefore the word of the LORD, all ye of the captivity, whom I have sent from Jerusalem to Babylon: | Ascoltate dunque la parola dell'Eterno, o voi tutti, che io ho mandato in cattività da Gerusalemme a Babilonia! |
| 21 | Ainsi dit l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël, touchant Achab, fils de Kolaïa, et touchant Sédécias, fils de Maascéïa, qui vous prophétisent le mensonge en mon nom: Voici, je les livre en la main de Nebucadretsar, roi de Babylone, et il les frappera devant vos yeux; | Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes; | Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele, riguardo ad Achab, figlio di Kolaiah, e riguardo a Sedekia, figlio di Maaseiah, che vi profetizzano menzogna nel mio nome: Ecco, io li darò in mano di Nebukadnetsar, re di Babilonia, ed egli li ucciderà sotto i vostri occhi. |
| 22 | et on se servira d'eux comme d'une malédiction parmi tous les transportés de Juda qui sont à Babylone, disant: L'Éternel te rende comme Sédécias et Achab, que le roi de Babylone a grillés au feu, | And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire; | Da essi si trarrà una formula di maledizione che sarà usata da tutti quelli di Giuda che sono in cattività in Babilonia, e si dirà: "L'Eterno ti tratti come Sedekia e come Achab, che il re di Babilonia ha fatto arrostire nel fuoco!" |
| 23 | -parce qu'ils ont commis l'infamie en Israël, et ont commis adultère avec les femmes de leur prochain, et ont dit en mon nom des paroles de mensonge que je ne leur avais pas commandées; et moi, je le sais, et j'en suis témoin, dit l'Éternel. | Because they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours' wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD. | Poiché essi hanno fatto cose ignominiose in Israele, hanno commesso adulterio con le mogli del loro prossimo, e hanno pronunciato in mio nome parole di menzogna, che non avevo loro comandato. Io stesso lo so e ne sono testimone, dice l'Eterno. |

| 25 | Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël, disant: Parce que tu as envoyé en ton nom des lettres à tout le peuple qui est à Jérusalem, et à Sophonie, fils de Maascéïa, le sacrificateur, et à tous les sacrificateurs, disant: | Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, saying, | Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Tu hai mandato in tuo nome lettere a tutto il popolo che è in Gerusalemme, al sacerdote Sofonia, figlio di Maaseiah, e a tutti i sacerdoti, dicendo: |
| 26 | L'Éternel t'a établi sacrificateur à la place de Jehoïada, le sacrificateur, pour qu'il y ait des intendants dans la maison de l'Éternel pour tout homme qui fait l'inspiré et qui prophétise, afin que tu le mettes au bloc et au carcan; | The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in prison, and in the stocks. | "L'Eterno ti ha costituito sacerdote al posto del sacerdote Jehoiada, perché vi siano sovrintendenti nella casa dell'Eterno per sorvegliare ogni uomo pazzo che fa il profeta, perché tu lo metta in prigione e in catene". |
| 27 | et maintenant, pourquoi n'as-tu pas repris Jérémie, l'Anathothite, qui vous prophétise? | Now therefore why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, which maketh himself a prophet to you? | E ora perché non hai rimproverato Geremia di Anathoth che fa il profeta tra di voi? |
| 28 | parce qu'il a envoyé vers nous à Babylone, disant: Ce sera long; bâtissez des maisons, et habitez-y; plantez des jardins, et mangez-en les fruits. | For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them. | Infatti egli ci ha mandato a dire in Babilonia: "La cattività sarà lunga; costruite case e abitatele, piantate giardini e mangiate i loro frutti". |

| 31 | Mande à tous ceux de la transportation, disant: Ainsi dit l'Éternel touchant Shemahia, le Nékhélamite: Parce que Shemahia vous a prophétisé, et que moi je ne l'ai pas envoyé, et qu'il vous a fait vous confier au mensonge; | Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie: | Manda a dire a tutti quelli che sono in cattività: Così parla l'Eterno riguardo a Scemaiah il Nehelamita: Poiché Scemaiah vi ha profetizzato, anche se io non l'ho mandato, e vi ha fatto confidare nella menzogna, |
| 32 | à cause de cela, ainsi dit l'Éternel: Voici, je punirai Shemahia, le Nékhélamite, et sa semence; il n'aura pas un homme qui habite parmi ce peuple, et il ne verra point le bien que je fais à mon peuple, car il a parlé de révolte contre l'Éternel. | Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, saith the LORD; because he hath taught rebellion against the LORD. | così dice l'Eterno: Ecco, io punirò Scemaiah il Nehelamita e la sua discendenza; non avrà nessuno dei suoi discendenti che abiterà in mezzo a questo popolo, e non vedrà il bene che io farò al mio popolo dice l'Eterno, perché ha parlato di ribellione, contro l'Eterno. |
