| 1 | L'Éternel me fit voir une vision, et voici deux paniers de figues, posés devant le temple de l'Éternel, après que Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, eut transporté de Jérusalem Jéconias, fils de Jehoïakim, roi de Juda, et les princes de Juda, et les charpentiers, et les forgerons, et qu'il les eut emmenés à Babylone. | The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. | L'Eterno mi fece vedere due cesti di fichi posti davanti al tempio dell'Eterno, dopo che Nebukadnetsar, re di Babilonia, aveva portato in cattività da Gerusalemme Jekoniah figlio di Jehoiakim, re di Giuda, i principi di Giuda assieme agli artigiani e ai fabbri e li aveva condotti a Babilonia. |

Et je dis: Des figues; les bonnes figues, très-bonnes, et les mauvaises, très-mauvaises, qui ne peuvent être mangées, tant elles sont mauvaises. | Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. | Allora l'Eterno mi disse: Che cosa vedi, Geremia?. Io risposi: Dei fichi; i fichi buoni sono molto buoni, mentre quelli cattivi sono molto cattivi, tanto cattivi che non si possono mangiare. |

| 5 | Ainsi dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Comme tu vois ces bonnes figues, ainsi je me souviendrai, en bien, des transportés de Juda, que j'ai envoyés hors de ce lieu au pays des Chaldéens; | Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good. | Così dice l'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele: Come questi fichi sono buoni, così io avrò cura di quelli di Giuda portati in cattività, che io ho scacciato da questo luogo nel paese dei Caldei per il loro bene. |
| 6 | et je mettrai mes yeux sur eux pour leur bien, et je les ferai retourner dans ce pays; et je les bâtirai et je ne les renverserai pas, et je les planterai, et je ne les arracherai pas. | For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up. | Io poserò con favore i miei occhi su di loro e li ricondurrò in questo paese li farò prosperare e non li distruggerò più li pianterò e non li sradicherò più. |
| 7 | Et je leur donnerai un coeur pour me connaître, car moi je suis l'Éternel; et ils seront mon peuple, et moi je serai leur Dieu; car ils retourneront à moi de tout leur coeur. | And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart. | Darò loro un cuore per conoscere me che sono l'Eterno; essi saranno il mio popolo e io sarò il loro DIO, perché ritorneranno a me con tutto il loro cuore. |
| 8 | Et comme les figues mauvaises qu'on ne peut manger, tant elles sont mauvaises,... oui, ainsi dit l'Éternel, tels je rendrai Sédécias, le roi de Juda, et ses princes, et le reste de Jérusalem, qui sont de reste dans ce pays, et ceux qui habitent dans le pays d'Égypte; | And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt: | Come invece questi fichi sono cattivi tanto cattivi che non si possono mangiare, così dice l'Eterno, così abbandonerò Sedekia, re di Giuda, i suoi principi e il resto di Gerusalemme che rimarrà in questo paese e quelli che abitano nel paese d'Egitto. |
| 9 | et je les livrerai pour être chassés çà et là par tous les royaumes de la terre, pour leur malheur, pour être en opprobre et en proverbe, un objet de raillerie et de malédiction, dans tous les lieux où je les chasserai; | And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. | Li abbandonerò ad essere maltrattati e travagliati in tutti i regni della terra, e diventeranno un obbrobrio, una favola un sarcasmo e una maledizione in tutti i luoghi dove li disperderò. |
| 10 | et j'enverrai contre eux l'épée, la famine, et la peste, jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient consumés de dessus la terre que je leur ai donnée, à eux et à leurs pères. | And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers. | Manderò contro di loro la spada, la fame e la peste, finché siano interamente distrutti dal suolo che avevo dato loro e ai loro padri. |
