A cause de l'iniquité de ceux qui y habitent, le bétail et les oiseaux périssent; car ils disent: Il ne verra pas notre fin. | How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of the whole country wither? for the wickedness of them that dwell therein, the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our latter end. | Fino a quando farà cordoglio il paese e seccherà l'erba di ogni campo? Si vergogneranno del vostro raccolto, a motivo dell'ardente ira dell'Eterno! |
| 14 | Ainsi dit l'Éternel contre tous mes mauvais voisins qui mettent la main sur l'héritage que j'ai fait hériter à mon peuple, à Israël: Voici, je les arracherai de dessus leur sol, et j'arracherai la maison de Juda du milieu d'eux. | Thus saith Jehovah against all mine evil neighbors, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit: behold, I will pluck them up from off their land, and will pluck up the house of Judah from among them. | Così dice l'Eterno contro tutti i miei malvagi vicini, che toccano l'eredità che ho dato in possesso al mio popolo Israele: Ecco, li sradicherò dal loro paese e sradicherò la casa di Giuda di mezzo a loro. |
| 15 | Et il arrivera qu'après que je les aurai arrachés, je leur ferai de nouveau miséricorde et je les ferai retourner chacun à son héritage et chacun dans son pays. | And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them up, I will return and have compassion on them; and I will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land. | Ma avverrà che, dopo averli sradicati, ritornerò ad aver compassione di loro e li ricondurrò a ciascuno nella sua eredità, ciascuno nel suo paese. |
| 16 | Et il arrivera que, s'ils apprennent diligemment les voies de mon peuple, pour jurer par mon nom: L'Éternel est vivant! comme ils ont enseigné à mon peuple à jurer par Baal, ils seront édifiés au milieu de mon peuple. | And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, As Jehovah liveth; even as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built up in the midst of my people. | E avverrà che se impareranno accuratamente le vie del mio popolo e a giurare per il mio nome, dicendo: "L'Eterno vive", come hanno insegnato al mio popolo a giurare per Baal, saranno saldamente stabiliti in mezzo al mio popolo, |
| 17 | Et s'ils n'écoutent pas, j'arracherai entièrement cette nation-là et je la ferai périr, dit l'Éternel. | But if they will not hear, then will I pluck up that nation, plucking up and destroying it, saith Jehovah. | Ma se non ascolteranno, io sradicherò interamente quella nazione e la distruggerò, dice l'Eterno. |
